I got a 90 minute full body massage, but I left this place disappointed. I was feeling impatient throughout, hoping the rest wouldn't be the way it started; well, it was pretty meh for the entire 90 minutes. I would've asked her to please put more pressure on my back using her fingers instead of her palms, but I'm not sure if this would've been that worth it if I have have to point it out. My wife and I just went here for the first time and are blown away, my wife said her Massage from crystal was the best massage she's ever had in 10 years of getting massages. Very solid massage, located in Chinatown with a good amount of metered street parking. Advertised rate of $45/hour or $50/credit card for a Swedish or Deep Tissue massage. Went with my girlfriend after work one day, and called ahead to ask for a 6:30pm availability (which there was), and it was easy to find, and fairly quiet/empty. We got a couples room/room for two, and unclothed leaving underwear on, and our respective masseuses came and massaged us face-down, at times applying an oil, which was eventually cleaned out using a hot towel. there was very little foot-massage, but the face/head massage was really nice, even the oddly relaxing and enjoyable hair-pulling bit near the end. I enjoyed the massage; I felt that the masseuse knew what she was doing and worked out some weird knots on my lower back that I didn't know I had. Totally legit spa and the price is great. I get my hair cut just a few doors down and stop by JJ's a few times a year. I never plan on going in advance so I just take whatever masseuse they have available. They are all great, but some are stronger than others. Vicky is great if she's available when you go there. You can call ahead for an appointment, too and get your preferred masseuse. I go for the 60-minute massage for $40. I might try the hot stone massage next time for $50. One of the reviewers mentioned she tipped $5 for a one hour massage and thought that was OK. Really? That's terrible. Please, they work so hard and i'm sure most of the money they earn is from their tips. Please tip well! Speaking of the tip, last time I went there, my masseuse wasn't up in the front when I was leaving and was already in another session. I left her tip with the woman up front. She said, "Is this all for her?" I was guessing that she thought she could keep some for herself. Are you supposed to tip the woman up front, too? I sure do hope Vicky got the tip I left her. Everyone is always so friendly and the massages are amazing. No matter who you get, the massage is always great. They play soothing music and the ambience is nice. We do the couple massage so we get the room and it's always very clean and tidy. Kevin is the man! He's so cool and the boss at the front. I'm pretty sure all our experiences were different some a little harder, some more like a caress different parts were touched. When we entered she said there were two ladies and one guy available. I had a lady but when I asked for deeper pressure they switched to a man, she walked out and he walked in. I'm not used to massages behind curtains or massages that don't require a signed release. So this was my first time ever getting a massage! The thought of a stranger touching my bare skin was kinda weird but I said whatevs! I am so glad I did this. The location was kinda hidden and the area was a bit sketchy but upon entry, the ladies were super sweet and the place looked very clean. The full body massage was $40 which was not so bad for a 60min indulgence. They have these little rooms covered with curtains so you can hear the people in the other area coughing and yawning which was a bit uncomfortable. There was also an argument going on with a client and the cashier and everyone can hear the whole ordeal. I really think they should at least have signs asking to be quiet or be mindful of the peaceful environment that they're trying to set. $20 foot massage near a 24 hour restaurant called Won Kok. I was really digging the arm chairs because they fully recline and have a hole for your face to prevent neck strain. On the downside, I did not like the lukewarm water temperature for the foot bath or the tiny cup of cold water at the end, instead of hot tea. It took them 3-4 minutes to arrive from another establishment. We "shared a room", divided by a triple thick curtain. Both girls were very strong and gave us super excellent massages.
