I have gone to them for a few years. For the most part they did a good job. Unfortunately my last visit will be my last visit. My toenail had an infection/fungus. I should have had a podiatrist handl it. Instead I was told by the staff that they could cut the nail down for me. It is my fault that I allowed them to do that. They cut the nail down entirely too far and it became infected. I was informed by a doctor that when there is any form of fungus or infection, nail technicians are prohibited by the state of California to work on the toenail. Furthermoremore, they are not allowed to cut down a toenail. They can be held liable for that. The growing outstage of this toenail has been excruciating and I now have to see a nail specialist to see if they can even save the nail. Again, I take full responsibility for allowing them to do this, but if they ever offer to do this nail service on you, please refuse. It's illegal and against the health code for the State of California read more

Second time coming and I waited because it's always hard to rate when it comes to nail shops. I have been going to so many to try to find the perfect match. These days it's hard to find a nail salon that's clean, stable, patient, and reasonable prices with good quality. I am satisfied with this shop, and Mimi the owner and all her employees are very pleasant and honest. They take appointments serious and make sure you leave satisfied. No rushing to get you out the door like many other nail shops do! Duke is awesome and he knows how to many designs and he's very detailed. Good work with good quality in a good location with lots of parking. They are good with gel x and acrylic nails. They do good gel pedicures too! I'm happy my sister came to this spot to let us know! The owner is dishonest and inconsistent with pricing. She seems to make up charges on the spot depending on the visit. For example, I regularly get the same services each time, yet during this visit she suddenly charged me $80 just for acrylic toes. Previously, my total has never exceeded $110 for full set acrylics combined and i have proof of bank statements . This was actually the single worst manicure I've ever gotten my entire life. First of all the lady who filed my nails down did it so aggressively that she cut open two of my fingers (and I didn't complain) then put alcohol over the cuts (hurt sm that I actually winced in pain and jumped from my seat lmao). All I wanted was a simple yellow color and the application was literally so streaky and patchy I could've done a better job trying to apply the color with my foot at home. On top of that, literally every nail was filed to different lengths and shapes (lol). I asked them to stop, remove the color, and she tried charging me the full price of the manicure when it was HIDEOUS - for reference, see pics and that specific tiktok sound that goes like "I'm crying these are my nails right now they're so bad". Also this place deleted my first review (lol of course). PANDA NAIL IF YOU'RE reading this THAT'S A DISGUSTING, ABUSIVE, SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE TO HIDE GENUINE REVIEWS. It was my first time here today. Don't have your nails done by Amy or Mary. Both of them can't file straight. Your nails will be filed crooked. I kept having them refile but they just couldn't get it right and by then my toenails were filed the shortest it can be. Luckily one of the male nail techs came in and salvaged as much of my nails and he could. He saved my manicure but it was too late for my toe nails. Maybe I got the wrong nail techs? My sister and I are always on the hunt for a great mani/pedi, and Panda Nails did not disappoint! The Spa Pedicure is around $20 (but they didn't turn on my massager and I was too shy to do it myself. Haha) They were very thorough with the foot scrub, and with the attention to the cuticles and cleanliness of the whole process. I really liked my pedicure here, as did my super picky sister! Parking is always available. It's located in the Dollar Tree plaza where the Rite Aid is. There is also a Half and Half boba tea shop next door! I will definitely be back to get my toes done here. I would give this place a 3 star review because the service was friendly but they weren't honest and changed the price. When I first walked in, I asked two of the nail techs if they had fairy dust and they looked confused but said yes. Then they seated us immediately. I didn't questioned them because it was going to be my first time getting the fairy dust so I didn't know what to expect and was excited for it because I wanted my nails to look sparkly. Once we were seated, I asked the lady how much the prices were and she said it would be $45 for my gel acrylics with fairy dust and $20 for pedicure each for my boyfriend and I. We agreed to the price and got both our mani/pedi done. When it was time for the fairy dust I asked her again if she had it and she looked confused and said let me show you the glitter polish. It WAS NOT fairy dust and they didn't have it...I was so disappointed but agreed to go with the glitter because I wanted something to stand out. When I was done with both the acrylics and pedicure, I had some glue on my skin around the edges of my nails and she also made one of my nail bleed. On top of that, when I asked her for the price she said it was additional $2 for my pedicure so $22 because I got regular polish. The other nail places that I go to includes reg polish within the price of a pedicure and doesn't cost extra. So overall, I would not recommend this place. read more

This is a very nice nail salon located in a Strip Mall. The staff are more friendly than some of the other nail salons I have been to. The salon is nice size- not too big, so the noise level is lower. I didn't have an appointment, but was immediately seated and given a bottle of water to drink while I waited. The two employees who did my manicure and pedicure were Michelle and Jackie , and they were very skilled and friendly. The salon has a lot of nice touches, and I am including some photos. I am also attaching a photo of my St. Patrick's pedicure! Prices are reasonable, and my review is a perfect 5 stars because this salon uses disposable liners for the feet bowls- an important feature to prevent infection! I picked Panda Nails to have my very first pedicure done. I knew nothing about pedicures. I walked in and Mary was able to take me right away. I got all sorts of soothing things done to my feet and she trimmed my nails. I was kind of scared that she might hurt me with the sharp nail clippers, but it was pain-free. She asked what color nail polish I wanted. The only thing I could come up with was, "Sparkly and silver." Pretty soon my toenails were transformed into beautiful glittery silver and rainbow colors. I tipped her well, in cash, because she didn't hurt me and everything she did do was nice. So, go to Panda Nails. You may have to make an appointment. It will be worth it. read more

The worst pedi mani experience ever. I should have read all the bad reviews before spending my valuable time and money here. As a mom you really don't have much free time. I walked in trying to get a pedi mani and the shop was pretty quiet with just one customer. Half way thru, a new customer walked in and the owner/manager asked my nail lady to just walk out on me to serve that customer first. (If you would have asked me if it's ok for her to be excused for a short period I would have say ok.) But no, she just stood up and left. The worst is she never told me where she's going and how long it'll take. All she said was she'll be right back. The owner/manager could have work that new customer's nail first and wait till my nail is done to ask my nail lady to do the next customer's wax job. That is soooo disrespectful and rude. I waited for a good old 15-20 minutes for my mani lady to come back. To make things worst, my pedi was done horribly. My toe nail was totally slanted. I pointed that out to the pedi lady. She said my nail was too short and refused to do anything. I went home and I was able to just cut that edge off to make it flat. (My little toe nail was at a 45 degree angle!) They did my nails in less than 40 minutes. When I left the shop, the customer who came before me was still doing her pedi. Her nail tech spent the time to do her nails, mine just did everything fast, lousy, no leg massage whatsoever. When I'm ready to pay, no one bothered to come out. They all hid in the back. I don't know why I even pay a tip for the disrespect, and awful treatment. Useful hint: there are new nail shops in Sierra Madre that do a wonderful job.
