I like how detailed, attentive, and efficient the tech was to be done in exactly 2 hours and redoing a color i initially picked out on 1 nail to the one I ended up choosing. Rose is really talented with designs, she can imitate designs really well if you show her a picture. They are both very thorough and won't rush to get the job done. I always do gel manicures, and V1's last the longest (3-4 weeks), look the best, and has the best service of any other place I've tried. I believe they use japanese gel. It's about 5-10 dollars more expensive than a standard gel mani done elsewhere, but other places I've had to deal with early peeling and lifting of the gel, messy cuticles or uneven application. That is never a worry here for me, so the price is worth it. At V1 I've done colorful frenches, glitter, cat eye, rhinestones, etc. The artists are very experienced in trendy styles. I don't do gel-x but know they offer that too. The interior is relaxing, clean and a great place to unwind. Definitely a must try! read more

Thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my pedi and mani.. I would come again only if my wallet allows it. Don't know if I can pay $130 for manicure ($45) and pedicure ($55) on a monthly basis. I got acrylic nails and gels for extra cost. I was offered a $5 discount for a 5 star review. I'm all about deals and promo. Sorry but I don't want to be a disservice to others or myself for a $5 off (future visit). I like honest and true reviews. I would rather receive excellent service and pay full price. The only reason why I knocked a star off because I didn't receive a full service pedicure and manicure. What I got was simple and basic pedi and mani. No foot scrubs or foot massage as expected of a typical pedicure. One tap on each leg and a pat on each hand--she was the only one doing my mani & pedi, maybe she was in a rush. I felt duped. despite all that vivien was nice and my nails came out beautiful. I may be bias because pre-Covid (( at another location they did a top notch state of the art pedi and mani leaving me fully refreshed.)) I did my research and the basic price for mani and pedi is about $30 standard and $50 for deluxe. Honestly this nail shop feels gimmicky trying to pass off as a Deluxe Nail salon. I may be wrong. I gotten a gel x set with design and a gel pedicure. The way she shaped my nails made my hand look so much longer and slender. I gave her a model pic and said I want it exactly like the photo and she definitely delivered! Pricing is a little bit in the higher side ($200+)and it was definitely a treat yourself day to me. The worst pedicure I've ever gotten. The lady didn't clean my toenails good even after I kept asking to clean more. She took so long just to cut and file. I was here for 2 and a half hours. I asked for a french tip and they look horrible. One toe is so much thicker and darker than the other. The base coat on the right is visibly darker because she did uneven amount of coats. On top of that I asked for a price over the phone and they gave me one price but failed to tell me french tip was an extra $25 until the end. An extra $25 aside from the gel pedicure price is ridiculous for a french tip that doesn't even look good. Don't recommend this place at all! read more

What a phenomenal place! Nail techs are more like nail artists - so meticulous, gentle, skillful, with unbelievable attention to detail, and friendly. For years I thought that manicure was supposed to last for no more than 1 week (even gel). V-1 teams does it so well that I can go for 3+ weeks with neutral color. I'm only writing what really happened-facts. I would AVOID this place at ALL COST in the future. On 9/23, i got gel extension nails. Few days after that, my fingers started to get swollen, hot, and red, starting with thumbs, then other fingers as well. As of today, my thumb, index, and middle finger on one hand; thumb and fourth finger on the other hand. I took off my nails at home today (10/7) on my own because my fingers were not getting better. I contacted the business on wechat, explained the situation, sent them photos as shown in the review, and asked for a refund. - Their initial response was: "NO need to go to hospital deer". - Then, they offered me "REFILL FREE" (which i don't even want after my fingers swollen, and i just want normal fingers). - They offered me to come in, but i live 1.5 hours away, and don't have time to drive there back and forth for 3 hours. - Then, they said "looks bite by the MOSQUITO". I am a medical student. I clearly don't think it is a mosquito bite. - Then they said "seems like the nails are PRESSED BY DOOR OR HEAVY ITEMS", which I quite think is almost impossible to get pressed on thumb and fourth finger on one hand, and get pressed on thumb, index, and middle finger on the other hand. - Then they added by saying "By the car door or something heavy". Again get hit by car door or something heavy on 5 different fingers on different hands??! - Then they say "We are not responsible for what you did at home" - Then they say my fingers are swollen because "You took the nails off yourself" (when I clearly had swollen fingers for few days even before I took it off today at home). They said these above things in exact order. i never had problem getting nails done at another place for 3 years every month before covid. And the steps that they took to address this problem are very disappointing to me. All that they tried to do was blame everything on what I could have done with one RIDICULOUS-sounding excuses/hypothesis after another. read more

I called the salon to schedule an appointment and I was able to get one for the following day for my sister and I. I had a really bad set of gel-x from a different salon and they took their time here to gently remove the old set and preserve my natural nails. I showed them the design I found online and they were able to replicate with ease. They also have a lot of in-house designs you can choose from. Another thing I really appreciated was that the tech was ready as soon as I arrived and they only book a few customers at a time to allow for distancing & safety.
