Talk about a company that not only knows what they're doing - but truly delivers on their promise! My wife and I had been talking about updating the trim in our home so we finally made a few calls and asked for estimates. Truth be told, another company actually quoted us $400 less than what Panda Painters had provided. But after sitting down with Spencer and walking me through what's actually involved in what I thought was a "SIMPLE" paint job, I decided to go with them. They are worth EVERY DOLLAR! First off, Claudia and her team are probably the most respectful and most accommodating people we have ever worked with. She always made sure that we knew exactly what was going on, how they were going to do it, and kept us involved throughout the entire process. I always thought that painting the trim, the doors, and our kitchen cabinets would be a "simple job". I can't speak for other companies, but Panda Painters really took the extra mile in ensuring that we were happy with their work. We used Panda Painters to paint the exterior of our house. After taking our initial deposit, we didn't hear anything about setting up a date to paint until I finally had to email a couple of times. When they came to power wash, you couldn't even tell (I'm actually not sure they did). As a matter-of-fact, I found two wasp nests in the window frames. That was just the start. We had them come back for touch ups, some large mistakes and some missed areas, several times. Whenever we called Spence, he punted to site manager and didn't return calls himself. And BTW, start answering the phone with your name and the company name and not just "hello", you represent your company for goodness sake. We should have know better then to hire them when Spencer said he wasn't on Angie's list because it is too expensive. Lesson learned. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the final result looks good. I have no idea how it will hold up or if the warranty will be honored but I doubt it on both parts. I am adding to my comment. After I completed this review, Spencer called and was genuinely concerned that we were unhappy. He has made several attempts to reconcile and I give him a lot of credit. It's a new business and he is learning. If Spencer can improve communication with his clients, which he genuinely seems to want to improve. Then I would recommend. REALLY HAPPY WITH THE WORK!! VERY NEAT, CLEANED UP AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED- 10/10 We found Panda Painters through a reference list of useful people to call for different house tasks from our home inspector before we purchased our house. After we purchased our home, we called Panda Painters to give us a quote on painting everything in the home (ceilings, walls, trim, hand rails...everything needed a coat of paint. Jonathan (the project manager) came in and assessed the space and helped us with color choices and with shine choices based on the different places of the house. His team did such a fabulous job (huge attention to detail) that we had them do our basement a few weeks later when our contractor finished that work. And now we have him scheduled to paint our kitchen cabinets. We are delighted with the work and would highly recommend them. He has come to the house after every completed project and walked around with us; both times we have asked for touch ups/areas that we felt needed it (we have lots of people coming in and out of the house). I had a very good experience with Panda Painters. The color consultation helped me pick out colors that really improved the look of the house. They were responsive whenever I tried to contact them, showed up when they said they would, and finished on time. They spent a lot of time on prep work and did a really good job. They even patched some large holes in my siding. During the painting they asked me questions about how I wanted things done so everything was just how I wanted it. Afterwards they walked around the house with me and fixed any problems I found immediately. The crew was very friendly. My only complaint was that they left their trash behind. The Panda Painters painted almost all of my 3000 square foot house right before I moved in. I called around for a few quotes and Spencer was the only one who would give an estimate based only on pictures of the house as I didn't have possession of the house yet to let people walk through. He and Claudia came over and we put seven color samples on the wall before deciding on a color. Spencer's estimate was reasonable so I asked for him to also paint the entire basement too. The work was finished in a couple of days and was well done. Claudia emailed me pictures to show the progress they were making. I recently used Panda Painters to paint the entire interior of my 1,100 square foot apartment before putting it on the market. The unit is in an old 1910 building, with tons of trim - baseboards, crown molding, and radiators. Panda Painters came in $1,500 less than the other companies, and the crew did an incredible job. When they finished the place showed like something out of a magazine. If you want your house to look like your college roommate painted it, go with Panda Painters. One the plus side, the painted our new condo in one day and helped with picking the paint colors. The initial impression was good. However, they put spackle paste over some holes in the walls but didn't sand it so that wall now needs to be covered with art or a book case or something. They painted around a CO2 detector so that when we unplugged it to move to a different outlet, the shiny purple paint from before shows through. They left paint splatter on outlets, outlet covers, the bathroom faucets, the floor. It really was shocking that a professional outfit could do such poor work. I would recommend you paint it yourself or hire a firm that will do quality work. read more

We utilized Panda Painters for our 1920's Victorian farm house in the Berkeley neighborhood of Denver. This was a huge job that consisted of removing old decorative siding, replacing it with new decorative siding, and implementing a detailed 5 color paint job. Spencer was helpful and employs a great and knowledgeable team. They were efficient and effective and communicated well. The price was good and fair for the work they completed. Worst experience ever. A rep came to my door for this company, I expressed how important cleaning up after themselves were, asked if they take credit cards & was promised a warranty on the work. The workers not only left a mess of paint & chips, they left their lunch trash in my bushes! then when it came time to pay, I was told they don't even have the means to run a credit card! Now here I am a year later, my paint is chipping & I have called them 5 times leaving a message asking the owner to come see the job his guys did, & he won't even return my call! Panda Painters should not be conducting business, the owner obviously does not care about the work being done, or not done & is not honoring his warranties. I am truly disappointed & hope my review will help someone else from making this same mistake. read more
