These horrific things are always on the buffet now. This is our last time giving them a chance to cook blue crabs right. We asked to see the manager to show them how bad the crabs are and have been. He told us to leave and don't come back if we don't like how they cook them. How rude, unprofessional and disrespectful of them. The whole buffet was a plate to the trash mess. Pretty dang solid for a Chinese buffet. Other people have complained about service, but our waitress was great. The food is above average, with a few standouts like the crab and multiple seafood options. Only thing is, I'd avoid the sushi, it tends to be overly sweet and very heavy with cream cheese. I've been going to Panda Palace for years and I must say, the quality of the restaurant has gone down... The tables were obviously wiped down with dirty rags as was apparent by the swirls of film covering the table tops, combined with the smell of something dead lingering under your plate... A local buffet with a selection of American, seafood and Chinese dishes. They had a salt pepper crab that went quick every time it came out, and the salt pepper chicken was sweet and savory. The other dishes included crawfish, shrimp, clams and plenty of buffet standards like chicken broccoli, pizza, mac and cheese and more. They have a small sushi bar and a dessert rack or two. We went on a very busy day of Mother's Day. You can imagine the crowd there. It was busy but not too tho. The food is pretty good for a Chinese buffet. I believe they have a sister restaurant in crossroads in Gulfport. Please let me know if I am mistaken. If you want a good seafood selection, go on Sunday's. I don't know what is during the week but I was told better seafood selections for that day. Please don't forget the ice cream/pop ice in the corner too along with the sushi roll bar in the back. They have WiFi I believe and do offer a military discount with ID. No mask required. If you don't know what to have but craving Chinese. This is your spot. This is your average Chinese buffet. It is in a good location, and the restaurant was very clean. The buffet was well spread out with plenty of space to fix your plate. It was also open on both sides, so you weren't clashing into other customers. They offer a wide variety of seafood since it is located near the coast. They have Blue Crab and Snow Crab, which is hard to find both in one place. There were plenty of desert options and even self serve ice cream. The ice cream scooper has a place to wash it after each use. This was a little frightening to me and made me question how sanitary it really is to be using. The service was great, and the servers were constantly refilling drinks and taking away used trays. I didn't feel crowded at my table because they were quick to remove dirty plates. So I decided to give this place a try and honestly it's like the rest of the reviews nothing really fancy about it. Quality of food is ok. They make you wear gloves and masks all the time but that's just as bad as not wearing them since people will eat with them and then go back to touching things. But that's on people not them. I really wanted some fried rice (pickup order) and decided to give this place another try after a bad experience a few months ago. However, just like before, the rice was either undercooked or so old that it was somewhat hard with a few clumped up crunchy pieces. Adding to that, the sweet peas in the rice were not fully cooked through. They weren't frozen but they were very firm. The taste of the rice was good but it was very unpleasant to eat. I tried to put it in the microwave with a little water to steam it some more and although that helped, I should not have had to do that. I see that most of the reviews on the buffet are good so maybe the take-out orders aren't as fresh as what's being served inside. Either way I'm done. This used to be my favorite buffet (In Mississippi). I used to have to drive all the way out to the one in Gulfport, but it was worth the trek. Then they opened this one in the promenade which is much closer to me, and it was like heaven opened its pearly gates! WAS is the key word.... somehow this place went from amazing to disgusting. The food is never fresh, it's never hot, they changed the spring rolls to some kind of nasty mushy centered crap that probably costs less, they're always out of stuff, and the best part is they recently raised their prices! Yeah ok, good luck with that. Since there is no better replacement I'll just be living my life without Chinese buffets, but if I do decide to go to one it definitely won't be here! read more

First time visit yesterday and for the money it is a decent Chinese buffet. It was very clean and the people were friendly. Lunch on a Saturday was about 10 bucks a person. There is a sushi section with nothing fancy, but they were decent tasting. Chicken on a stick was really tasty as was the general chicken. Update: So, I forced myself to give this place another try. I've got a rule that if I give a place a 1 star rating, I'll go a second time to indeed justify said rating. Yeah, this place is still awful. The hostess looked like she would rather jump off a bridge with no water underneath it than be working there. Seriously, not one smile. Then, the entire time I was there not once did a server ask me how I was doing. 70% of my food was cold. To top it all off, they gave me the wrong ticket and tried charging me double. And then, when I explained all this, they didn't even f'n apologize! This place is awful, and the people that work there clearly don't give a sh!t. Yet another dud of a Chinese buffet. Food was gross and lukewarm. Selection was bigger than other places, but nothing was worth bragging about by any means. Service was awful. I was seated and got my food. Then, a baby right behind me started crying. Simply wouldn't stop. Obviously, it wasn't the little dudes fault. Still, I called for the server. I politely explained that I get very bad migraines and didn't want to get one sitting next to the crying child. I asked to move myself to a different both. I swear this place is no different than Gulfport Panda Palace! As of today the Gulfport restaurant is on the News.. FULL SIZE ROACHES, COLD FOOD...3 VIOLATIONS "C" grade! I have had a experience there. When I say I ate here one time and got hell of sick, vomiting,cold sweat, diarrhea, stomach had the worse pain...since given birth "and that was in 2004"!! I can pen point the dish that f*cked me up. As you come into the front door there's a buffet bar to the right! As far as buffets go this seems to be the the best in town right now. There is a large selection of both fried and baked goods. They have a pretty big sushi bar with its own chief. The food was hot and fresh, they had the standard buffet deserts as well as fruit. They staff was friendly, polite and never stopped cleaning or checking the food. We were pleasantly surprised, honestly compared to the other buffet just over the bridge this one wins, I don't know why they aren't as busy. Maybe because it's in more of a strip mall environment they get overlooked or maybe because they are more then four dollars, but you get what you pay for so spend the extra three dollars and have a good meal. This used to be the best Chinese buffet in D'Iberville. Over the last few months the quality and freshness of food has plummeted. We gave it one last about a week ago. Majority of selections were lukewarm to say the least. The coconut shrimp looked like it had been sitting out for hours. The General Tso's chicken tasted like pure syrup. Floors were filthy.
