This is my first time coming back since restaurants opened back up and let's just say this Buffett was lacking (and was lacking before Covid). The food was awful. This has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to in regards to buffets. They have just about anything you could possibly want from a fresh roast beef to all of the usual soups and standard Chinese buffet food. But they also have unusual things that you don't see at a buffet. Examples, frog legs, muscles, oysters on the half shell raw, crawfish, clams and crab legs. Then you talk about the sushi bar, they have a fellow there that all he does is make sushi. the selection is awesome. They probably have a sushi bar that must be 20 feet long just by itself. The wait staff is very friendly and always keeps your drinks full. I've been to this place many times and I have yet to be disappointed I highly recommend you try this restaurant out. The best time to go for the lunch buffet as its under $10 for the buffet and a drink. Sunday and dinner time is higher but for the selection you get it's well worth the price either way. read more

Went in at around 8:30 on a sunday. Food was cold and seem to be dried out. For $15 buffet, this was the worst buffet I went to. The sushi was bland. The fried dumbling was tasting like cardboard. The fish has no taste. Everything was cold. Would not recommend to even try here. Two stars is actually being nice. read more

Ok... being serious right now. THAT WAS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I HAVE EVER SAVORED IN MY MOUTH!!! Although, I could barely savor the shrimp because i was stuffing my mouth full :P. One of the plus sides is that it isn't all Chinese food it is partly American which is perfect so it doesn't get too overwhelming and tiring. My wife and I used to go to the Panda Palace every week -- on occasion we went twice. It had good food and was reasonably priced. It closed during the pandemic and when it reopened the price went up 50% and the quality had declined. For two senior citizens it formerly cost $21.xx. It now costs $32.xx...I can afford to pay whatever it takes if the quality is still there -- it is not worth it anymore read more

Went back for dinner last night (Sunday) and had a so-so experience. Employees were still friendly and present, but the food just wasn't as fresh. Several dishes that I ate were just congealed masses surrounding hardened meat. Hey unappealing, and I actually started to feel grossed out halfway through my first plate. You'd think that on a Sunday night (they were busy) at dinner time would be a good time to be at a buffet - more customers means more frequently stocked pans of food. I don't know. And then to make matters worse we found out when we got the bill that the price per person is $15.99 as opposed to $11.99 like they charge during the week, lol. Totally our fault for just assuming the price was the same and not looking on the greeter's stand (prices are displayed there), but dang! That food was NOT worth $15.99. This location is even worst than their Gulfport one. Their sushi tasted just awful..as if they decided to use non-sushi quality fish to make it. And the rest of their food selections were pretty bad too. Don't waste your time with this place. read more

I don't understand what all of the negative reviews of this place are about, but here's my point of view: it's pretty damn good as far as Chinese buffets go and definitely the best one I've found in this general area. The restaurant itself looks fairly new and sparkley. The large size and general layout of the location leaves the inside feeling kinda sparse, but I'm not taking points off for ambiance. Service was fine, drinks filled and plates cleared quickly. I like the way the food area was laid out, although the placement of certain dishes/items was confusing. Selection was what would be expected of a decent sized Chinese restaurants, with several unexpected items thrown in (raw oysters, anyone). Everything looked fresh and well prepared. Just finished my very disappointing lunch. Soup was not hot. Food was not fresh and most of it was not hot. The sushi bar stayed empty throughout the meal. Several other dishes stayed empty throughout the meal. Temperature of the food was pretty alarming. The soups were just broth. Very pleased with the entire experience. Staff friendly, facility was very clean and the food was fresh & tasty! It is rare that everyone in my group agrees on a rating. Won ton soup was delicious! Fried fish was clips on the outside, delicate on the inside with flavorful batter/breading. They even have authentic Asian hot tea. The last buffet I tried had Lipton green tea - I prefer oolong or jasmine when eating Asian food. We will definitely come back to this buffet! Added bonus - military discount! read more

I only give this place 2 stars (1 for the egg drop soup / 1 for the fried rice) that you get if you ORDER. The buffet is nothing short of HORRIBLE. We got there a little late but at least an hour and a half before it closed. EVERYTHING on the buffet line was cold. EVERYTHING. Half of the dishes were empty. And when I asked the hostess if more food was being brought out she said "ummmmmm I think so" After putting cold food in front of my kids and not even having to bite my food to realize it was icy, I went to the register and told them, we had just gotten there and would like to just leave. The nice thing was, he offered to bring out all hot food. But if you're running a buffet, why should I have to request decent hot, or even lukewarm food??? He was nice but still- no. The food is ok not great just stay away from the desserts they all taste like cardboard. The facility itself is filthy especially the carpet and the bathrooms. My family and I stopped going there because we all felt sick after are last visit. On another note please keep all the kids out of the food there are so many lazy parents that send their little kids up to the Buffett to get their own food and food for their parents. This place used to be pretty good. But recently it's gone down hill. I'm writing this review from my table in the restaurant on Sunday July 2, 2017. This will be the last time I waste my money and time here. Most of the food on the buffet was cold, old, and tasted disgusting. It's Sunday so the buffet is more expensive because they're supposed to be serving crab legs, but the crabs were empty when we arrived and stayed empty until just a few minutes ago. In the 45 minutes that we've been here they only refilled the crab legs once, and they were extremely fishy. I brought my husband there for Father's Day with the intent on enjoying their Alaskan King crabs and there was a large family eating there and they were making a lot of trips up to the bar to get the crabs, so the staff stopped putting anymore crabs out for anyone else, so I paid the same price as the other people but only got to eat one crab read more

TL;DR: Not worth it. There are plenty of other chinese restaurants in the area that are plenty worth your business. Food Average for most of the "chinese" dishes (Tso's Chicken, Fried Rice, etc.), but the seafood was very clearly spoiled. The crab legs completely reeked and the oysters were glazed over. You can tell some of the lesser popular foods have literally sat there all day. I did notice when the staff refilled the food bins, they never took out any of the food at the bottom. They would just dump new food on top, so avoid getting anything at the bottom. Price Same chinese buffet scam as anywhere else. Lunchtime deal is reasonable. Forget about this place if it's the weekend. Costs ~$15 for one person w/ no drink. Wait Staff Not friendly nor necessarily rude but you can tell they definitely don't want to be there. Basically had no interaction with the wait staff after they handed us our drinks. They seemed to wait until everyone or mostly everyone got up before grabbing away the plates. Atmosphere Once again, must've been because I went on a Saturday but crying children everywhere. Didn't really bother me, but if you want a quiet meal this ain't the place. Overall I feel pretty ripped off. The food was below average, all the seafood was absolutely disgusting. My first impression was the filthy indoor/outdoor carpet. It's so bad, I almost lost my appetite and left. I ate the food, but won't be back. I, unlike many, do NOt have an arbitrary process when it comes to reviewing places. My stars are reserved for food (is it appropriately hot/cold, tasty, well presented and plated), one is reserved for service (an I seated promptly, does the server check in, keep my drink filled, etc), the next is the cleanliness of the restaurant, the next is overall impression and the last one is for my opinion. The food was good. I happen to hit them at lunch and it was hot and fresh. The sushi (and I usually avoid buffet sushi) was fresh and very good. The baked salmon was over-peppered but still good. The place was clean and I didn't freeze my bits off. However, once I was seated and brought my water, my server disappeared like a fart in the wind. Never saw him again. This actually happened the last time I was here. I pointed this out the last time it happened but still gave them a tip. This time I didn't. And I made it clear why. If my concern didn't get addressed then maybe not leaving a tip will. The food was good but would have been nice to have some more staff attention. read more

I've been to MANY of this type - around the US and even some while living in China, and this is superb! It's better than expensive Todai buffets I used to go to in Cali. I wouldn't even give this place one star. What a disappointment. From the moment we got there the servers acted so stuck up, not friendly at all. Then when we went to get our food, they gave our table away. We were stuck looking stupid not knowing what to do but to ask another server what the deal was. They gave us another table, didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. We didn't get any extra napkins and it was like a crime for me to even ask. No one checked on us to see how we were doing. There was no service here, NO I didn't tip! Why should I? Didn't deserve it! Especially when I get eyes rolled at me just for a simple question. Learn some manners. The tip jar beside the sushi bar was a joke. Who's really going to reach for (filthy) money meanwhile being around food. Shouldn't their pay be included in check we pay anyway? I won't go back. I have eaten oriental food all over the world and this is one of the worst. The food is cold and greasy. The chicken is tougher than an old farm rooster. The roast beef was so raw it was bleeding all over the pan. A good vet could put the old cow back on it's feet. There is very limited selection. The desert counter was almost non existent. It was not very clean as the counters were coved with food spills and the carpets were filthy. There are no sneeze guards on all the food tables. It was my one and only visit and I will advise all of my friends of my experience. The TV ad is very misleading. The service is lackluster without a single visit from a waiter. Don't go in the bathroom with a full stomach as you will loose it to the nasty conditions. The man making the sushi was making them with his hands and then wiping his hands on his apron without gloves. If reported, the health department would close it down.
