The atmosphere is upscale and sophisticated--dim lighting, comfy booths, and that luxurious casino-resort vibe without feeling over-the-top. Service was attentive and professional; our server was knowledgeable about the menu and kept things moving smoothly. The steaks were cooked perfectly to order my filet mignon was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and the sides were nice complements. The fresh Gulf seafood options looked tempting too, though we stuck with the classics this time. Cocktails were well-made, and the wine list had some nice selections by the glass. That said, it's not flawless. Portions are generous but the prices reflect the fine-dining level (expect to pay steakhouse rates), and while everything tasted good, a couple of the appetizers felt a bit ordinary for the cost. So, admittedly, I came here for Thanksgiving dinner and had the special that was the traditional Thanksgiving dinner plate so I can't speak to the steak and other things, but, it was delicious nonetheless, if on the pricey side side. But, I get that because it's a fine dining restaurant in the casino, so it wasn't unexpected. Everything on the plate, from the turkey to the stuffing to the gravy and other fixings were delicious. If I had one small nitpick, it would be the presentation of the turkey. It was basically a Disney-sized turkey leg, which was a little cumbersome to eat, especially in a nicer restaurant. But portions were huge, and there was lots of leftovers to bring home. Service was absolutely impeccable. Our server was lovely and friendly and always seemed to know just the right time to come check on our table. I look forward to coming back for a steak and perusing their regular menu. read more

The only reason they are getting a 4 star is because my daughters enjoyed the restaurant and our server was great. If it was not for that, I would have given it a 2 or 3 star, the prices were very high, I do not have a problem affording it. But one example is, if I order Oysters Rockefeller, I expect them to be made properly! What may be the problem with them you ask? NO bacon on it what so ever and for the price, there should be! We had a reservation, so we were seated right away. The ambience is very nice and I think we lucked out with our waitress. I think her name was DJ she was absolutely fantastic. She had a great personality just very friendly and outgoing. She really made our night. The food was fantastic as well. Everything was seasoned really well. Amazing experience! My husband and I were visiting for our anniversary and the staff there took excellent care of us. All were aware it was our anniversary and made it so very special. The food was to die for so perfectly cooked and tasty. We were seated and approached immediately. Everything including the live music was more than was expected. This was a place that was so good I didn't think to take any pictures of the food before it had a fork in it. Make a reservation before you go. For me, it was a bit pricey at first glance. But, that was tempered a but with the mindset of " you get what you pay for" combined with a very helpful gift certificate, we dove into appetizers of French onion soup and a tomato salad followed by the pork steak on a bed of grit-girl grits and a plate of lamb chop. From the first bite of artisan bread -those skinny bread sticks are incredible- to the last bite of dinner, it was top-notch. That, paired with a very attentive and polite wait staff made for a wonderful evening. Soft jazz and vocals played in the background, it was cozy, just illuminated enough to see everything without any glares, and quiet enough to have one on one conversation without any trouble at all. My husband and I have been coming to Scarlets since the Casino has opened and have never until yesterday have had a bad experience. We walked up to Scarlets and no one was seated outside (where we like to sit) and decided to have a seat there. We waited probably 15 minutes before someone brought us waters, at that point we asked if we had a waiter... We waited another 5 minutes before someone asked if we would like a drink and we ordered Poinsettias. Still looking at the menu, noticed not much had changed but did decide what we were going to order. When our drinks came they were flat and warm. At that point we decided we should probably go next door to the Oaks, where I have never gotten a bad meal ever, we left our warm drinks and the non existent wait person. OK, we went back to Scarlet's for a second time. I have to say we enjoyed it just as much if not more this go around. I had the blackened redfish with the Gulf Coast accompaniment, my wife had the 8 ounce filet. We started off with crabcakes the house salad. Everything was outstanding and cooked to perfection. The meal started off with a tasty amuse bouche and we had a nice palate cleansing sorbet in between courses. I have to say Scarlet's is my favorite restaurant when we come to Biloxi now. We are comparing it to many the restaurants we love to eat at in Las Vegas, and this compares well with most of them. This is on par with Mon Ami Gabi and Beauty and Essex; two of our favorites when we go to LV. This just happened to be my birthday dinner, and did not disappoint! For a first time experience it was pretty poor, when arrived we were told to seat ourselves which was kind of strange but able to be looked past. We ordered our drinks and then food, but the whole time we were there the atmosphere did not seem welcoming like a restaurant should and we felt like we were profiled and neglected. We watched our server tend to all other tables much more efficiently than our own, it took well over 40 minutes to receive our food even though there was only a few tables being served at the time. The food was good but the shrimp in our Alfredo dishes was undercooked and portions of our meals were pretty skimp for the price paid. I had a sprite as my refreshment and without any notice or reason (still had a third of my drink left) had it taken away and was given a water as replacement. After several crab cake fails during my Biloxi trip, I finally scored. Amazing 99% crab in the Scarlet's crab cake - so freaking delicious! Eat here for that fact alone. The bacon wrapped scallops were good too but crab cake was so much better. For the main meal, I had the filet with Boursin mashed potatoes - so stinking good! Also had the gnocchi with mushroom sauce - absolutely divine! My husband had the prime rib and he loved it. Both of our steaks were served with a half roasted garlic bulb and it was just wonderful! First, the food is excellent. However, my experience with this steakhouse and the wait staff was not very good. I visited on a Wednesday evening and number of customers being served were very small. It took my waitress about 10-15 minutes to even acknowledge me which seemed strange because she catered to the customers around me as if they were Hollywood royalty. It was so apparent that it wasn't going well that the manger finally stepped in out of embarrassment and insisted on comping my entire meal. I told him it wasn't necessary but he insisted. Always on a search for a date night dinner spot, we came across Scarlet's Steak & Seafood located in the Scarlet Pearl Casino, Biloxi. Parking was convenient. Restaurant is in the casino, but easily located. We stopped in on a Thursday evening without reservations, but seated immediately without a wait. The atmosphere of the restaurant made for a great date night, very elegant and intimate. Our server, Annie, was so attentive. Not once did we have to ask for anything. She made the experience all the more better! Now for the good stuff.... Food: we ordered the Charcuterie board, bacon wrapped scallops, 24 oz prime rib paired with a bottle of red wine. The charcuterie tray included three meats, three cheeses, crostini, dried fruit and berry compote. Bacon wrapped scallops were amazing! Served on a tasty sauce and topped with caviar - I couldn't have imagined the scallops being cooked any better. Prime rib was served perfectly at medium rare and full of flavor. Even at 24 oz, it left us wanting more. A great restaurant to try when you're in the area. Delicious food, large selection of drinks, and great service. Reserved on Open Table for Sunday Jazz Brunch at 10am. Never have I enjoyed an experience so much where I stayed for 2 hours!! We were seated promptly by where the singer would be performing. To my disappointment the hostess said he would not be starting til 11am so I decided I would drink my mimosas slowly lol! Fortunately he arrived early and began at 10:30am. "Jesse Hill" sang classics from Frank Sinatra, Dean Miller, Lionel Richie and more. He had such a nice soothing voice that my husband and I throughly enjoyed. We started off with the Fried Green Tomatoes with lump crabmeat and it was delicious! Your choice of Mimosas or Peach Bellini were complimentary with any entree. (a great value) Coffee was additional for $2.50 each but included refills. My husband choose the Stuffed French Toast as his entree. I choose the Seafood Omelet and requested it to be made with egg whites for an healthier option. Both were excellent and came with two sides. He got grits and sausage and I opted for the potatoes and bacon. I was there celebrating my birthday and to my surprise the waitress got the singer to sing Happy Birthday to me and surprised me with a special Creme Brûlée !
