I really wanted to like Jimmy John's, I thought that their sandwiches were good and I liked the atmosphere. BUT it was their horrible delivery service that made me stop going to Jimmy John's. I ordered a sandwich and GAVE A 30% TIP because I was feeling nice. When the delivery guy came to my office he immediately asked me about my religion and then he began challenging me and demanding a bigger tip. I then called the manager at the store and he basically rushed me off the phone. So I went to the store after my shift and spoke to the manager. He said that he would take care of the problem. I assumed that the delivery biker would be fired for what he did, but a month later I saw him biking down the street delivering someone's prder. I wish the appropriate action would have been taken. It is because of the delivery biker I stopped going to Jimmy John's and I do not plan to go back. read more

Been to this branch as well as others. This place's tiny sandwiches are not worth the $10 they cost. Plus I believe the staff at the N. Irving branch spit in my food. You can read about my experience with the N. Irving branch at that review. This place just has the flaws of every Jimmy Johns: the sandwiches aren't worth the price. They are tiny, and even if you get the extras like added meat, they still aren't too big, and you've boosted the price up over any sense of value. It will be like $11 including tip for just a sandwich that isn't very filling. For that price, I can get a lot more food at other places nearby. It's just not worth it. That kind of cut doesn't hold up, and by the time the oil was added, the thin bottom half was already soggy. I also don't believe I received the extra meat I paid for. The toppings were applied carelessly -- lettuce scattered across the counter, and the oil and vinegar were poured so haphazardly that the wrapping paper was soaked through before they even got to cutting the sandwich. I'm not writing this to be harsh. I'm writing it because I've always admired this location and would hate to see it slip into the kind of mediocrity that has hurt other spots in the chain. It was clear to anyone watching that neither of these two employees had much investment in the product they were putting in front of the customer. I hope management takes note -- this place is worth caring about.
