I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.

I am very sad as this cleaners is close to my home and I have frequented it sometimes as my regular…read morecleaners sometimes occasionally. Recently I had a pretty high dry cleaning bill: $80 plus. I had about 4-5 items. Out of these, 3 of them were not cleaned properly. And I only just discovered it as I am packing for an overseas business trip and I am checking all my clothes. 2 Tommy Hilfiger navy blue dresses both have the smell of my underarms from wearing these on hot summer business days. I haven't removed the yellow dry cleaning tag yet because I haven't worn them, but they are clearly not cleaned well. And a pair of pants that had coffee spilled on them were dry cleaned twice at Penrose with no success in removing the stains. I was admonished that *nothing* will get the stains out -- they tried everything. Well, not wanting to throw them out, I put some Shout on the stains and placed the pants in the washing machine and the coffee stains came out. They are now getting ironed at another cleaners, and I expect they will look just fine. I have nothing against Penrose, I quite like the lady that works there, but I am saddened by the poor professionalism and the poor cleaning of my clothes. As much as I would like to frequent them as they are local to my community, I also need my clothes cleaned properly, and they are among the more expensive of the cleaners in my area. I sincerely hope they can improve their practices and regain business. But for now, they have lost mine. The initial service was impeccable, which is why I decided to return. I'm giving two stars out of grace for that first visit. Unfortunately, my second experience with the exact same item was disappointing. When I picked up my comforter, I noticed small specks of lint scattered across it. I brought this to the manager's attention, and while she insisted she personally handled my item and attempted to remove the lint, that explanation didn't align with the final result. If the issue couldn't be resolved, I should have been notified before leaving--not after I had to point it out myself. I did receive a refund, which I appreciate, but I genuinely wanted this to work. It seemed like the manager had already made up her mind that nothing further could be done, and there was no real effort to try to resolve the issue. At that point, I simply asked for my item back so I could take it somewhere that handles items with more care and attention to detail. It honestly made me question whether my comforter was mixed in with others during the process, especially since I take great care in maintaining it, including regularly steam disinfecting it at home. What was also frustrating was that instead of focusing on my concern, the manager began explaining how other customers' items can come in, as if I was expected to sympathize. My only concern was the condition of my item. Based on this experience, I would recommend keeping it simple here--stick to everyday dry cleaning. I would not suggest bringing larger bedding items like comforters or duvet covers, as the quality and attention to detail may not be consistent.
