This is the worst Bread Co I've been to, in regards to smell. I've been to this location several times and every time I come in it smells sour! I don't understand why management hasn't addressed this issue. It literally smells like ever table has been repeatedly wiped down with a sour cloth! Maybe everyone has gone "nose blind", but it truly is bad. I can't dine in, as the smell makes me lose my appetite. Please Belleville Xing location, fix this! read more

As someone who travels a lot, I can say this is the worst Bread Co. I've been to in the country. Also, my 1-star review is not from a single visit. I understand it's possible to have a bad day or even a few, but it is consistently bad relative to the other Bread Co's I've visited. Today they were out of cream cheese (seriously) and the $9 hot bowl I received was only half full and wouldn't fill one of my kids. In other visits, their green smoothies are poorly blended with spinach and ice still whole, and they are always out of the sprouted grains. The worst is that their food is consistently inconsistent. We asked for a greek salad with no onions or cheese (severe allergy to onions) and we were given a box of lettuce- that's it! Not sure who is in charge of quality control there, but it seems like its managed by high schoolers. This is the Belleville, IL location next to Buffalo Wild Wings. read more

i go here all the time for lunch and dinner. I cannot get over how nice the staff is. The food is so delicious and fresh and low cal /fat. That is... if you choose the correct items on the menu. So just pay attention to the cal on the menu. Very helpful for my summer diet. read more

Nice for a quick lunch. Walk in to place your order at the counter then you will be given a pager as you find a table to sit at. Our food took probably 15 minutes, you go up to the front to pick it up. Everything was fresh and good portions for the price. Ordered a Pick 2 with the turkey and kale panini and Greek quinoa salad. The panini was awesome, not greasy like some places and the crispy kale on the inside was melded perfectly with the tasty turkey and mozzarella. The salad was good, not as much quinoa as I would have expected but very good amounts of olives, almonds and cucumbers. I was plenty full from both of these items and took my side of chips to go. Hubby had the pick 2 with the corn chowder and Sierra turkey sandwich. He said it was good, maybe not enough food for a full grown man but with the side of the apple he was satiated. Daughter also had the corn chowder, hers in a bread bowl and she loved it. The bread was that perfect combo of a crunchy exterior to a soft and fluffy middle. I snagged myself a bite and it was super good. She was happy with it they do have workers walking around clearing the plates out of your way as you finish. The restaurant was clean and inviting and we would go back again. I recommend signing up for My Panera, you will get a card to show on future visits and earn rewards. read more

I really am disappointed in this location. I am on a restricted caffeine diet due to high miscarriage rate. Two times now I have gone through drive-thru and ordered a decaf latte. It shows up on the board as a regular café latte. When I get to the window both times they have been very confused on whether or not it was a decaf latte they handed me or a regular. But instead of checking with whoever made it they just assumed it was decaf and sent me on my way. I didn't trust that it was a regular decaffeinated coffee since the servers were so unsure, so neither times did I drink the coffee I ordered after I specifically made it clear to them I could not drink a regular coffee. I don't think the staff care they just want to get you away from their window. They obviously do not care about people's allergies or restrictions as to why they need foods made a certain way. I'll drive the extra two minutes down the road to go to the Abbey from now on. read more

Spent the afternoon here while waiting for someone to finish up a meeting. Staff very good. Had broccoli cheese soup & a bit of Sierra turkey sandwich. Person with me had Sierra turkey sandwich and the Strawberry Poppyseed & Chicken. She said salad was delicious. Soup was great. So creamy and soft. Decadent even in the summer! Inquired about a sample of black bean soup and staff was very kind and gave me a tiny taste (it was good). We stayed for many hours working on the laptop and staff didn't rush us out etc. I would happily visit there again should my travels take me there again. read more

I am so done with this location. I have rarely went there where they are not out of something. Today 5-29-18 I went through drive-thru at approx. 11:30 am and they had no large drinking cups. Couple of weeks ago I was placing my order inside and another gentlemen stepped up to give his order and they were out of 2 products he wanted....he turned around and said "forget it" and walked out. That same day when I got home with my order I found that my salad had no dressing. It wouldn't have bothered me so much but I had no dressing at home to use instead. Called manager Kyle and got a free drink card today 5-29-18. I am so fed up with this particular store I am not going to waste my time. Shame on me that I have given the store so many times to redeem themselves and I just keep getting disappointed. What a disappointment. The Bread Company was always our go to sandwich shop. Haven't been since for a couple of years, but one recently opened near us , so we tried it. The sandwiches used to come on hearty slices of fresh baked bread and were heaped high with freshly cooked meat. Not here. Thin slices of tasteless bread top by what seemed to be proportioned generic turkey and a tiny slice of cheese. The taste was so uninspiring we didn't even finish them. I often consider Panera Bread as a great place for a quick lunch. However, I think the prices have gone up. I ordered a pick two, soup and salad, it was over $9 without a drink. A little pricy for just ok food. read more

first I'm very disappointed with the closing of the downtown Belleville location. We miss seeing our friends in the morning. Everyone now go other places in the morning. My 2nd complaint is the location of the Microwave, to use it you need to get down on your knees. this is the same location for the Micro at the Shiloh location. Very, very unhandy. It sure doesn't make it handy for SENIORS. read more
