We have ordered from the Chelsford location many times and the catering has been great. On time delivery and quality have never been an issue. Our last couple of catering orders have not been the usual quality. This week, I ordered lunch for 16 people and requested set up since I was in a meeting. They had a number to call to be let into the office when they artived. The driver left the order in reception and left the building without a call. When we got the order set up ourselves, the salad was wilty and there were no utensils in the bag. The catering manager that was there was excellent and we had great service. Not sure what happened. Food was excellent. However missing items. I ordered multiple items and all were ordered with the bread side. I only received 2 pieces of bread instead of the 3 I should have received. Also I ordered a Cesar Salad with extra dressing and didn't get the extra dressing. I did not realize the missing Items until I got home and opened the well sealed package. For whatever reason, Panera Bread sounds and looks like the best thing in the world when we were not feeling well! They have soups, cold and hot dishes, sandwiches, pizza, smoothies, and baked goods. What was enticing was their family feast value meal, which had a little bit of everything when we were decisive. We ordered it through Ubereats and here are our thoughts on it: Family Feast- $38.99 Bacon Turkey Sandwich, Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT, 2 Grilled Cheese, Greek Salad, Chicken Noodle Soup, and French Baguette- Both of the sandwiches were not good. It could be that they were no longer fresh since it was in a bag full of hot meals. The kiddy size grilled cheeses were simple and good. I like all the ingredients in the Greek salad, they somehow maintained their freshness in the container. And the soup was salty. Classic Grilled Cheese, Creamy Tomato Soup, and Apple- $9.09 This grilled cheese was regular size and was fine, tomato soup, sort of pasty, and apple is just an apple. Green Passion Smoothie- Peach and mango purée, white grape, passion fruit juice, spinach. It was sweet, tangy, and soothing when I had a sore throat. There wasn't any size option, for a cup that seems like it is small, it goes for $6.29. It didn't last long but luckily we ordered one for each of us because it was great! Used to be our go to back before COVID. But 7 of the last 9 times we went they forgot to put things in the takeout bag. Never added anything, always missing something mind you. The once good steak sandwich is mostly bread now with too much mediocre sauce. The prices jumped too. Pressed is going to put this place out of business. Sad really. read more

This is the absolute WORST Panera I have ever been to! (And I have been to many of them!) They are ALWAYS out of some ingredient - Every. Single. Time!!! In the morning, even though there are about 7 people working behind the counter, and no customers, you still wait about 10 - 15 minutes until anyone even acknowledges you. Customer service here is horrible in general. I travel all over for work, and this is the only Panera that I see all of these problems in...and it never seems to get any better. UPDATE: This is my first time going back here since this review two months ago. I ordered the avocado, spinach & egg sandwich. I got it to go, and when I went to eat it - guess what??? NO EGG!!!! The food here is pretty good but I've had a few times where I have gotten pasta and it has been undercooked. The delivery service seems to be a real issue. I have had multiple times that I have ordered and it has been late. I have had the experience of them not having what I ordered and instead of contacting me they just made me something else and hope I don't notice and throw in an extra piece of bread. If they had contacted me I would just order something else but instead hey send me something I can't eat. Best to just go in and eat here rather than order online. read more

Wish I could give negative stars. From the minute we walked into this store our experience was terrible. From the attitude we got from the woman working in the bakery area when we asked if she could help us with our order, to the woman who prepared our takeout. Rude, nasty that's all I can say. Not to mention that it took us 20 minutes to get out of the store with our takeout because no one had any sense of urgency to actually fill our order. Only to get home to realize that they neglected to include a sandwich in our order. We sucked it up. Couldn't put ourselves through repeating the two minute drive only to be treated in such a way. it is great here. the seating is very spread out and comfortable. There are booth and tables and you can seat yourself and there are tables for as many people you have with you. The food and drinks are out of this world it never fails me i could eat there food all day. They have food day round Breakfast lunch and dinner and every meal is amazing. For the cost of my meal with two others coming to almost $40 for a lunch- I was not impressed. The tomato soup is basically marinara sauce in a bowl, and the chili in a bread bowl was basically 4 spoonfuls of chili and all bread. Probably won't be coming back here for a while! read more

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I have gone here numerous times and they are always out of something whether it be muffins, bread (yes bread even though they specialize in bread). I went this morning and they were out of everything bagels gone, croissants gone, brioche bread gone. There were ten customers waiting for their orders and people walking around aimlessly in the kitchen not helping anyone. Some people said they had been waiting for 20 mins or more. All the while, the manager was back there skulking around not saying anything to his employees or the customers. You would think at that point he would at least be apologetic or try to help the poor kids working in the kitchen. I will never go back there again. This wasn't my first bad experience. It's sad that Panera employs these type of managers who have NO customer service skills.
