When I crave for a bagel sandwich I usually go here ! I got the Tom Brady and added cream cheese and sweet chili sauce. I asked for onion but I'm guessing the boy that made it got confused of which one was which lol. But that's okay I don't mind garlic bagels. This is usually my go to bagel sandwich there. This place does not disappoint. Found this cafe by accident, and when in the area I make sure to return. They have coffees, drinks, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and lunch sandwiches. The prices are reasonable. I came with a friend and I had the egg and cheese with hash browns in an everything bagel. My friend had the turkey sandwich. We both enjoyed our sandwiches. Very tasty. And my coffee was really good. I've been to some other cafes and the coffee was either not hot or just not good. So this coffee was the best I've had out in a while. It's a local business so it's great to support them. If you are in Chelmsford, you must stop in. They do have parking as some places do not. So glad I found this place! read more

I'd say KJ's is pretty average. From the food to the drinks to the service, nothing particularly stands out, but it doesn't disappoint either. They do have a solid selection of flavored coffee beans, which is where they shine a bit. The coffee itself, however, isn't as strong as I'd like--it's just not bold enough for my taste, but that could be a personal preference. The bagels, sandwiches, and pastries are fine, but nothing to write home about. They do the job when you're in the mood for a quick bite, but they don't exactly knock your socks off. The prices are mid-range--not as cheap as Dunkin' across the street, but not as expensive as Euphoria a few blocks away, though you can't really compare them directly. I was looking for a quick place to grab breakfast before getting back on the road and KJ's was a perfect fit! I was able to order online and pick up in store within 10 minutes! It's adorable inside of the store, and it was so great to know I was supporting a small business :) Unfortunately I didn't have any cash on me and I really wanted to tip, but they didn't offer digital tips... which I think needs to be changed because you folks deserve the extra gratuity!! KJ Café has decent flavored coffees the girl at the register with the bandana I believe her name is cat charming so charming. Getting hash brown on the sausage, egg and cheese, it was worth can't eat it no other way and she was absolutely right. My husband loved the jalapeño cheddar bagel with veggie cream cheese. I have been going to KJs since they opened and get French vanilla coffee. It always tasted the same and was delicious. Over the past couple of months the coffee has been bad and tastes different every single day. One day I got a flavor that was awful and I had to throw it away it definitely wasn't french vanilla. I wonder if Im actually even getting the right flavor. I'm not sure how they differentiate their coffee with labeling but the coffee has not been enjoyable which stinks because when the coffee was good and the flavor being asked for was correct, it WAS good. read more

First time here and the sandwich's were really good. Perfect for a quick easy reliable sandwich. The flavors were fresh and tasty. Two very different sandwich's the sriracha sandwich was sweet and tangy and you could taste the added banana peppers making it a little extra spicy. The south western turkey sandwich was the perfect amount of turkey to cheese ratio. Reminded me almost like a seasoned grilled cheese with tomato and turkey which just added that extra flavor. The coffees weren't the best they were slightly watery and you could clearly taste the syrup. I wish the coffee was slightly stronger and it had less ice. read more

KJ's is doing a lot right. We stopped in for coffee and breakfast sandwiches and were impressed with their food/drinks, customer service, and COVID compliance. Everyone working at KJ's was warm and welcoming. I had a few menu questions and they were answered easily and quickly. I ordered a seasonal special White Chocolate Raspberry Latte (not my usual, but the chalkboard by the register advertising it called my name!) and the Tom Brady breakfast sandwich on a gluten free bagel. The latte was great, hot and not too sweet. The breakfast sandwich was also delicious. I'm always wary about trying new gluten free bread products because they tend to be a little bit or miss. This gluten free bagel was tasty and didn't taste like cardboard. Win! The sandwich came with egg, avocado, and cheddar cheese. It was hot and melty- delicious! KJ's also has a huge case of gluten free pastries and we grabbed a pop tart from Something Sweet Without the Wheat for later (it was delicious!) The huge selection of gluten free items was a welcome surprise and the care that was taken during gluten free food prep was especially appreciated. My fiancé and I have eaten here and gotten coffee here for years. The coffee is good and so are the sandwiches. My issue with them is they are very allergy unfriendly. My first experience was when I ordered some kind of cream cheese that had nothing in the name about nuts but turned out to have nuts in it. I complained and they gave me a gift card and that was very nice. Today my fiancé went and ordered me a muffin... he specifically asked if there were nuts in it and was told "no". I started eating it and immediately found nuts in it. This is incredible unsafe and unacceptable. Luckily my allergy is not life threatening but I cannot believe a cafe at this day in age doesn't even educate their employees on allergens in the food. read more

Tried KJ's today for lunch, Ordered a Veggie Panini. Picked it up later to discover The panini was not grilled They claimed they toasted the bagel, they did not it is supposed to contain -- from the menu "Spinach, Tomato, Red Onion, Roasted Red Pepper, Cucumber, Cheddar Cheese, Basil and Hummus" What it actually contained - Lettuce, rock hard American cheese, 1 slice of cuke, tomato and a barely detectable amount of hummus. I ordered on a Onion bagel, which was bready rather than chewy (must get their bagel recipe from dunkin donuts!), To their credit the manager said he would refund the charge, he has not so far but i trust he will. I was looking for a small coffee shop and stumbled upon KJ on yelp. I got the my typical fall order chia latte with pumpkin and oat milk. The drink was very sweat, much sweater than when I have gotten it other places. Not sure if the chia was sweat or the pumpkin so if you don't like super sweat coffee maybe avoid the pumpkin and chia! This Caffe has so much to offer. I'm really picky when it comes to coffee but they did a great job creating mixed coffee drinks and sold me on there white Christmas! We have been looking for a good bagel place around here for a while and we have finally found it! Onion and everything bagels are our favorites. The onion bagels are actually onion bagels and not just a few minced onions mixed into the dough. Their coffee selection is also awesome! The only I wish they had was normal scallion cream cheese. I love supporting local coffee shops. I frequent KJ's and love their coffee and breakfast menu , but lately it seems like a gamble - - will you receive what you actually ordered?? The electronic ordering system they put in place for pickup and curbside is super user friendly. But it seems that they are always mixing orders up - whether it's forgetting a coffee from the order, making it a hot coffee when it should be cold, putting butter on a bagel when you ordered cream cheese on the side...the list goes on. I've left feedback on their app and no one ever addresses it. This could be an awesome spot is they had more attention to detail and a higher level of customer service. Perfect place for gluten free options to get a sandwich on a bagel or croissant. They also have a display in front with some gluten free pastries. I got a gluten free bagel with cream cheese (I just wish they would have asked if I would like it toasted or not, since I forgot to ask). They also make it in a separate area which is awesome.
