Thanks Panera Bread for Bear's Pup Cup also got the you pick 2, Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Bacon Turkey Bravo all delicious!

    Iced Coffee empty

After receiving an e-mail practically every day from Panera marketing about their "free 3 months" of coffee subscription and living less than 5 minutes from a Panera, I thought sure, why not! I'll give the subscription a go. Today was my first experience getting my coffee perk and it was NOT good. I arrived at this location at 8:00am. A customer was already at the counter waiting to be helped. 5 minutes pass. A few workers have passed by in the prep area and we were not acknowledged. A third customer arrives and heads to the rapid pick up area and does not find what she is looking for. A few more minutes pass and finally a worker comes out and asks what the first customer needed. He was there for a rapid pick up and it was not in the rapid pick up area. The worker helps him and it takes a couple more minutes. Finally, after 10 minutes pass, I am asked what I needed. I tell her that I have the coffee subscription and would like to get my coffee. She asks for my Panera card (I don't have one as I signed up online). I tell her I don't have a card. She asks again. I said I don't have a card and that I signed up online. She asks for my phone number and hands me a hot coffee cup. I state that I wanted an iced coffee, so she hands me a plastic cup and says it's self serve and points to the pop/tea area. I walk over and fill my cup with some ice. The iced coffee was empty. I walked back to the counter and told the lady that the iced coffee was empty. She asked me again, it's empty? YES. She walks over to check like she doesn't believe me. She takes my cup and fills it up in the back all the way to the top. I head to the milk/sugar area and the milk was EMPTY. At this point, I've been here over 15 minutes and I'm frustrated. I leave. I'll use my own milk at home. You would think that a restaurant notorious for breakfast that they'd have it together at 8am with workers at the counter, coffee items filled, and apparently rapid pick up items ready when customers arrive. Totally not worth the hassle.

I ordered a family breakfast sandwich bag and I thought Hey I'll get 4 sandwiches for $18 instead of $7.50 for each sandwich. The sandwiches were almost all bread. I've never had a sausage egg and cheese with half an egg on it in my life.

This was The Fontega chicken sandwich. It should be called a bread sandwich.

Use caution! This location is always incredibly dirty; the tables are full of food and the floor looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a week. The takeout food was ready fast, however I supposed it doesn't take long to heat a piece of bread. The Fontega chicken sandwich had almost no cheese and even less meat. (which was way undercooked). . Looking at all the other reviews I'm not sure whey anyone would chose to eat here.

    Cold sandwich

I went through the drive thur during the morning. Ordered a bagel, fontega chicken panini, and smoothie. I got through the ordering process fast as there was not a line. It took awhile for food to come up. Staff was friendly. When I got to my location to eat my sandwich for breakfast, I noticed that although the panini looked grill on the outside it was not heated on the inside. The cheese was not melted and the sandwich was cold. I had to heat it myself. The bagel was soft and tasty and the smoothie was good. I go to this location often. It was not busy so not sure why they didn't take to make my order correctly. I hope that they take time to make sure all orders are accurate and to customers liking.

    Baja Bowl

I ordered the pick two Baja bowl with the fuji apple salad and an apple. With a chai tea latte. I paid $21 for all of it which was to be expected with Panera. I eat at Panera all the time because it's one of the only places I can get something healthy on the go. But I have to say this Baja bowl was very disappointing. I got it without chicken and avocado. The photo is what it looked like when I opened it to get ready to eat it . I couldn't believe what I saw when I opened. I will NOT be ordering this again. If you want a bowl save your time and money and go some place like Currito to get more bang for your buck. I sure wish I would've. I ended up mixing my salad with it to make it more enjoyable.

I want to start my review off by saying I've been eating here since I was a little girl, and unfortunately this will be my last time here. Yesterday afternoon I placed an order for two pizzas for pickup. After receiving them & making it home, I noticed one of the pizzas was made absolutely wrong and looked extremely disgusting (pictured below). I then called back to express my concern with my order and to find a solution, but the manager and owner, DAN/DANIEL/DANNY KRIMMPER, was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful towards me. When we first got on the phone, he was hostile, which I couldn't understand but didn't take offense to; however, he was just extremely disrespectful & rude to me the entire conversation. He offered no support, assistance, or empathy towards HIS business giving BAD food. He actually told me since I didn't like it and the pizza was so bad, I should just never come back (and by his request, I will not). He was so nasty to me; I was so overwhelmed and upset. I reached out to the Silverton location to see if I could speak with another owner/manager about this situation, so this morning I called Silverton to speak with Steve Krimmper, and he was also rude. He brushed off my concerns, told me there was nothing he could do for me, said he didn't know what I was expecting to be done, and couldn't speak to whether Dan was rude (even after I told him about several others saying he was rude as well). He even went as far as telling me "I know about the bad reviews but I take all online reviews with a grain of salt". As if that's an appropriate thing to tell a long term customer who is making a complaint. This is my last time eating here; I'll never be back & make sure nobody I know visits eith

The food was good though and at a reasonable price. The shop was clean and had plenty of seating. The only reason for the 4/5 stars is the customer experience. We stood at the counter in front of three employees and none of them interacted with us. They saw we were there but did not welcome us in, say they will be right with us, nothing. Then, when the interaction came, it was cold and disinterested. I understand that this is somewhat typical in sub shops, but at least other places have the courtesy of welcoming you in when you open the door.

I went to your colerain location 1/19/26 and ordered the exact same thing and did not receive caramelized onions I was given raw onion. and to the employees when I returned with my sandwich they were very sarcastic on this being caramelized onion young lady states she made the sandwich and how it is in fact caramelized onion and I took my sandwich back from her hand and opened to show her that this is NOT caramelized onion. I have a picture I can provide for reference. I showed the male employee what exactly caramelized onions were and he had a sarcastic look and I don't care expression on his face and he said that's how you guys told them to make and I told him if that's how this location makes them then don't put them on and he insisted on trying to make it right so l allowed him to attemot to make it caramelized but it just was charred onions instead and I told him I did not want to waste his time any longer and to just put them on the sandwich and leave it be. I filled out the survey and the same exact person who made the second sandwich is the person who called his name was Shawn. He tried to explain how his facial expression wasn't what I said etc. I suggest a tutorial on caramelized onions to not have repeat issues in future.

Type place where you know what to expect... you get what you want and you know why you're there. (Probably not a salad) keep going, Brothertons! You make everything better when I'm feeling homesick. (if you try to lock it, you will most likely only be locking yourself in until your family notices you have been gone awhile . Have a good buddy watch the door for you) Tbh I've never seen the doorknob NOT "out of order"... now it's part of the charm of the joint... yep. Now you know. I have been ordering double-decker club sandwiches from Brothertons for decades because my father took me there and his father took him there. I like the turkey club double-decker with plain grippos potato chips (portion lasts me two meals) Recently tried their chicken and waffles, and it was actually pretty delicious. My other go to is a BLT double-decker on Rye add Guetta, fried egg and American cheese. I admit I come here hung over most of the time and it's perfect and I love it but you don't have to be hung over for Bretherton's family restaurant to hit the spot... you could also be really high. The hostess was wonderful and our waiter - whose name was either Jack or John; I just couldn't keep that straight - was perfect, answering questions, checking on us several times, engaging in just the right level of friendly conversation. We chose to sit on the bar side and I liked the atmosphere very much. The other side was pretty crowded when we arrived on a weekday around 1 PM. Food came quickly and was fresh and delicious. Soup of the day was a sausage chicken gumbo so I had to try a cup of that. Chunky, hearty and full of homemade flavor. My husband had the single grilled pork chop with vegetable of the day plus mashed potatoes. The chop was big and plenty satisfying. Potatoes were house-mashed, just lumpy enough with bits of red skin and an amazing gravy. He was very impressed that the veggies, including the carrots, were cooked so nice and tender. I had the Avocado Chicken Club which was perfection. I took the cilantro mayo on the side so I could apply it at leisure, and I also enjoyed dipping my parmesan fries in it. This was also an ultra-satisfying portion, in fact I decided to polish off the fries and took about half the sandwich home which was super delicious that evening. The roll was so soft and fresh - everything was super fresh. Although we were beyond full, the homemade dessert menu was impossible to resist so we took home a piece of bread pudding, which was, unsurprisingly, excellent. Convenient parking lot in the rear, just note there's no rear entrance so it is a bit of a stroll to get to the front door. BaCall's is quite a ways from my home, boo hoo, but we try to get out and about a lot so if I'm anywhere in the vicinity be sure I'll stop again. Winner!
