I am back! Yes, I had to run back and get another fixing of Panera Bread and I loved it. I ordered the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich and it was so delicious! It is filled with so many yummy ingredients to make this sandwich a big hit. I also purchased bagels. The Cinnamon Crunch Bagel was remarkable! I love the cinnamon and vanilla combination flavor all together. The Cinnamon Swirl and Raisin Bagel was tasty as well. I love raisins, so it was impossible for me to not just be satisfied with one type of bagel. I needed two! We popped in for a quick lunch at this location and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was consistently delicious as were the sweets. Our cashier was super friendly and engaging; she sold us on the Asiago twists which were delicious. I love how cozy Panera is though I just wish they'd take time to clean the seats when they clean the tables. There was crusty pieces of food between the bottom of the seat and the back of the seat (we sat in a round booth) which were clearly visible. read more

I came to this location on October 1st and had a very disappointing experience. When I ordered a mango smoothie, the cashier acted like she couldn't hear or understand me, even though I was speaking at a normal volume just a couple of feet away. When I finally received my order, the smoothie cup was only about two-thirds full. I politely asked if it could be filled since I paid for a full cup, and the worker said, "no, that's all I made." Considering how small the cup already is, this was very frustrating. I felt so disrespected that I walked away. If I hadn't walked away, I likely would have reacted and that would've been on both of us. I later returned to request a refund because the service and product were unacceptable. My visit to Panera Bread was avery friendly visit, my salad could have been better. I ordered a Greek chicken salad, I specifically ask the cashier what kind of lettuce they put on the salad and she told me Romaine I said ok, so when I got my salad back to work, I had more lettuce and onions than anything about two little pieces of chicken and whole lot of black pepper that choke me, little bit of dressing. He mumbled something after ringing me up and I asked him his name. He asked why and I told him that he was rude and I wanted to tell his manager. This was the most disgusting Panera I've ever been to. If I could title this it would be neglect... We arrived at 11:15 am. When we got there and ordered, my wife and son went to a somewhat clean table. I walked towards them and noticed the 3 people in the kitchen standing around and talking. As I passed the drink machine the floor was wet and had a puddle with a wet floor sign. NO ONE CLEANED THIS UP the whole time we were there. On a Sunday as a former restaurant manager my store better looked like gold this place was gross. The dining room was filthy with food all over the floor. Mayo and mustard packs were all over one table. None of the tables had been wiped down and this was right before Sunday lunch! I went to the bathroom and thought I was in a gas station. The urinal had pubic hair on it and looked like it hadn't been clean cuz there was pee stained on the bottom. Not to mention the walls were rusted with metal pee stains. The floors were moist like in a gas station restroom that doesn't have proper drainage. I didn't even want to venture to the stall. When I exited the restroom I saw the same 3 employees sitting around chatting. I also noticed a pile of food that had been swept and just left to sit. There was no broom or no one holding a broom so I guess they forgot to sweep that up. When I got back to the table my son had dropped a crayon and I bent over to get it and the baseboards were food stained and gross. This is not PANERAS STANDARDS. Our food came out and apparently you don't need a fork to eat a salad or Mac and Cheese. So I went up to ask for one and noticed the pass where the food came out of HAD FOOD CRUSTED ON THE WOOD. I asked for a fork and the people behind the counter who I'm assuming was a manager met me with blank stares and then handed me a to go fork. WTF how does this pass a health inspection. I went to get my wife and I a drink and notice the water level had black mold or dirt on it. Btw the puddle hadn't been cleaned up at this point and this was 15 minutes before noon. Needless to say we won't be coming back here and we were just passing through. We are definitely going to let our friends in Colombia know our experience. read more

Since I don't regularly eat at Panera when I do, I focus on what I'm getting. We are traveling so stopped here for lunch. I ordered a large Thai salad ($10-11) and guess we all have different definitions of large; my bowl was large but the salad in it was not. I do note lettuces when I get salads and this lettuce was not fresh. There were way to many of the romaine lettuce stumps that were brown on end-hence not fresh. There was enough chicken in the dish and the dressing was nice but I wouldn't order the salad again. My husband had a Chipotle chicken flatbread sandwich with chicken, avocado, red peppers and melted cheese with a bag of chips. He was pleased with it; it was moist and savory. I think Panera's as a whole use fresher lettuces but I happened to come to one that skimped. read more

What an absolute joke. Walked into a messy restaurant excited for a nice warm meal. Instead, I walked into place being run by high schoolers. Standing behind a counter laughing at us and EATING THE EXPRESSO BEANS BEHIND THE COUNTER!! Unsanitary and disrespectful staff. As a student, Panera is nice place to study with friends in a relaxing lounge internet. They have large comfortable seating, free Wifi, and lots of coffee. I've been going here on and off for the past 3 years and it seems like the prices keep going up and the quality and portion of the food is just only mediocre. However, the service was good and I go my food fairly quick. I ordered a cinnamon bun toasted which was good, but the small mac and cheese that I ordered with apple seemed very small to justify it costing nearly $5. This Panera is located in a shopping center with a Tanger and other good restaurants like Hickory Tavern, Mod Pizza, or Jimmy Johns that have better food. I have always been really pleased with the food and the service that I get from Panera Bread. I know it's a chain, but all Panera Breads are different. I am really glad that this place is near where I work and live. One of the best things I like about this place is that they list the calories of every item on the menu. No surprises. Also the food just seems to be good and healthy. Their black bean soup is my favorite thing on the menu. Unfortunately it is not offered every day. Sure wish it was....... I also like the new Broth bowls they have started serving. The chicken one is my favorite so far. They have some amazing iced green tea also. If you haven't tried it yet, you may want to. The place has free wifi, and it seems they don't mind guest hanging around and working or studying. I've had several meetings here also. I'll keep coming back. Good god I hate to leave bad reviews but this is the filthiest restaurant I've been to in as long as I can remember. There are perhaps 40 tables in the establishment and there were about two that weren't just completely disgusting and uncleaned. Icing on the cake was the employee who left the crapper (numero dos) without washing even pretending to wash his hands. Napkin dispensers were all empty. My panini was burnt to black on one side. At least the broccoli cheese bread bowl was . Staff was friendly enough; I didn't the rudeness to which some others have alluded. I usually stop at the Bower Parkway Panera location (next to the Lifeway Christian Store) when passing through. It's significantly better. I won't make this mistake again. read more
