We arrived on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner and were seated by a very friendly waitstaff lady who had locs. Had to wait roughly 5 minutes to get a waitress but looking around it was evident she was the only one waiting on customers so she was everywhere bless her. There is good music playing but it is loud. I went to use the bathroom and the one stall was broken and full of excrement. Then went to wash my hands and the soap dispenser was either broken or had no batteries, thankfully I had sanitizer in my purse. I ordered the chicken and waffles because you can't mess this order up. It took roughly 20 minutes for my food to arrive but baby listen the waffle was decent (6 out of 10) but it was clear as day this chicken was not fresh (2 out of 10). The chicken was hardly warm and chewy, I picked over one wing and tried a second one to see that it too was not fresh. You'd think if the chicken was going to take 20+ minutes, it would be fresh but nope they played right in my face. On a good day they are 5 stars but the second time we came the pancakes were overcooked but nothing a little syrup couldn't fix. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait, so we came in after the time but still ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes.
