I'm a regular at Panera but unfortunately I'm currently boycotting this location. Paid for a full-sized salad and got what appeared to be half sized. It didn't even have all the ingredients and there was so much dressing it was really ridiculous. The workers at this location are also rude. One heavy set girl was blocking the fountain drink area with a cart while talking to her coworker about how much she hates her job. I kindly asked if I could slide past and get a drink and she literally stared at me and said nothing. It's not the paying customer's fault that as an employee you're miserable working in customer service. When I complained to Panera corporate (and even sent a picture of my salad), they said the branch manager would be in contact. Of course I never heard anything. I usually like to have lunch at Panera Bread but this location, I was very disappointed with the service. Fuji Apple Salad was only half full with not very fresh lettuce and I can see that they did not put an effort to serve. The Lemon grass soup was watered down to very plane taste. What can I say. Meh. Above average fast food but still fast food. Convenient and probably better salad than mcdonalds but only a little.

When I worked in KOP, I ate at the Panera there for lunch at least once a week. I'm not sure if that location is exemplary, but that is my basis for comparison. I stopped into the Conshy Panera yesterday and it was quite a frustrating experience. My main problem was my sandwich. (a bacon turkey bravo). You'd think the sandwich was strewn together by a chimpanzee in 2 seconds based on it's appearance. And there was about half as much meat as I'm used to getting at the KOP location. Annoyed, I took it up to the manager (something I never do) to basically ask "WTF is this?" The manager didn't really seem to care about the problem, although she did have more meat put on my sandwich. Unfortunately, it was again strewn between the bread with complete disregard necessitating me to reconstruct the sandwich evenly. Perhaps teach the 15 year old employees there how to actually make a sandwich because if I wanted to put a sandwich (back) together, I would have just made it at home. read more

1 star for the Southwest Chicken Tortilla Bowl (served in chipped bowl). I usually get a pick 2 but have gotten tired of the same old options. The amount of food portrayed in the photo of the tortilla bowl was considerably larger than what was served. Maybe the $9.29 price tag and photo of bowl filled with food led me to believe that this would be a filling meal. It was not and not worth the money, $5 maybe. And it was served in a chipped bacteria harboring bowl that should have been in the garbage. read more

I always liked Panera. I was there 2 wks ago and had turkey chili. It was cold. My friends sons grilled cheese was served on chabatta bread. They wereout of white bread at 12 on a Saturday. They never mentioned it. It was so hard the kid couldn't even eat it. When I returned it I was met with a not friendly attitude. My daughters bowl was dirty same attitude. So I gave it a shot again yesterday. French onion soup cold and med veg sandwich with rotted tomato's and just barely anything on the bread. I threw it in the trash. For 25.00 for lunch for 2 people I don't think expecting a good lunch is unreasonable. For a few more bucks we could have had waitress service. Really going down hill. Too expensive and food is sub par. read more

Everything was really good, the soup, sandwich and roll. However, the cinnamon roll was horrible. It looked promising but tasted like something packaged from a day old bakery--artificial flavoring--it was gross. You would think a company that can make good bread could make a decent cinnamon roll. read more

This is probably my favorite Panera bread in Pennsylvania. It's very spacious and the environment is very well maintained. But the best part was the customer service. I visited this Panera bread about a month ago and I've been back three times since then.There was a worker their named Trinity who completely helped me out with almost everything. She brought my food to the table , asked me numerous of times if everything was ok, and cleared my table. I really recommend going to this Panera bread you won't be disappointed! read more

I am always willing to give a place a second chance. Panera is usually on my way to wherever I'm going. But my last two visits at the Conshohocken and Gateway Shopping Center stores have been bad. I like seasonal turkey and cranberry items from any menu in any restaurant I go to. On both of these visits I ordered turkey and cranberry flatbread. It was funny how similar my experiences were at both locations. I did not ask them to remove the spinach which was advertised as a garnish. Well what I got in both stores was actually a spinach sandwich with a couple of bites of turkey. Check out the photo below. It was so disappointing you could see right through the sandwich once I took the spinach out of it. If there was an ounce and a half of turkey in there I would have been very surprised. And the outrageously high price makes it a rip-off. I might continue to go there to get bagels if I'm desperate. I'm not going to be a sucker anymore for their menu items.The same thing happened with their steak sandwich. NO meat ! Where's the beef? The cold tea bevs are way pricey. read more

Since my husband enjoyed his food, I will give it two stars. This place blows. Sorry, but it does. We have only lived in Philly for a few days, so we are waiting on our Internet service to be installed. We needed a place where we could work a bit, but that we could also eat. It was a cross the street from where we were, so we stopped in. No breakfast at 11am on a Saturday?????? Please do no have the enormous breakfast menu, with photos, if you are not serving it. At least post the time breakfast ends. After waiting in line for about 5-6 minutes, with my mouth all ready for a breakfast sandwich, the young lady tells me they are no longer serving. Ok, not happy, but I try to find something else to eat. Didn't happen. My husband's sandwich and soup cost $14... ??? I thought the girl rang it in twice or something. There was a $7 up charge for lobster. ??? It is not like there was even 1/4 of a lobster on it. Besides, it is Panera. Is it really even lobster? Who knows? My husband is not super-picky and he enjoyed it and his soup, so that is good. I opted for coffee, which was fine. Also, their soda dispenser was not working, they were out of chips for sandwiches, and they had two iced tea dispensers, but they were both unsweetened. Ok, I know this is not the South, but I also know, people in the North, drink sweetened iced tea. Not impressed at all. If we need wifi and coffee, before ours is installed next week, I might come back. Otherwise, never again. read more

It seems that nearly every time I try to eat here, they're out of something I ordered. Frequently, soups they're not even selling that day are left on the menu, or they're entirely out of one or more ingredients necessary to make the sandwich I asked for. This would mostly just be inconvenient if I didn't find this out until ten minutes after I've paid, which is unfortunately the case every time it happens. It shouldn't be hard to keep track of what's actually on hand and for the cashiers to let people know if something they ordered isn't available, but evidently the staff at this store has not mastered this concept. read more

Coming back from cali, having amazing experiences at the panera bread chain there, I come back to dreary PA, my hometown. Thats what this panera bread feels like. I just got off the phone with the manager to tell him how the bread bowl to go I just got was cold and hard as the weather outside right now. He tried to explain how the bread, a small piece of it I'm chewing on for a minute now, should be the same quality as if I was there eating it. BULL. This really pisses me off because it seems like every to go order I get from this place its half assed and thrown in as fast as humanly possible. I mean, why bother going there in the first place when I can get a fresh bread bowl at giant, and the same soup? Convenience right? Well even the Mcdonalds on the same street has that down, and yet their quality is better? Why the hell am I paying for souped up bread bowl that I trudged in the cold weather to get? Since Panera is corporate, they should really learn from the paneras in cali, hire friendly, smiling folks that actually look amiable, and serve quality for the prices they put on the menu. I would have given 1 star, but the managers obviously (told by corporate to handle unsatisfied folks) to just give them a free meal. Well that doesn't really help in this situation, when even after I put the thing in the oven (wheretf is the convenience now), still a downer. Yes I won't be frequenting this place anymore like I would, since every experience has been memorable in a bad way. read more
