Overall, the significant number of reviews giving this location a one (probably because you can't give it a zero) are accurate, in my opinion. This is the most regularly, poorly managed Panera I have visited. Cold coffee - no coffee, unengaged staff and on and on. I don't like this Panera Bread. I have a subscription (unlimited sip club). And almost always when I come to this Panera Bread. I see: 1. Dirty sticky floor. 2. Coffee that should be hot is cold. 3. There is always a problem with plastic disposable cups for cold drinks (sometimes there are none or no plastic lids). All this brings great inconvenience to your customers. Fine as far as a Panera goes. They have screens that you can order on which is nice. Food came out quickly which was also a plus. They were out of most of the sides which was annoying. The ordering screen informed me that they were out of French baguette, so I picked a whole wheat roll instead. My meal came out sans roll so I asked about it and was told they were out of that too. I review coffee shops, sweets shops, and sandwich shops. Panera is a 3 in 1 deal so I looked at this more from a coffee shop perspective- I was breaking out the laptop. With this location I have to admit, Panera has it right. The reason is environment. Some coffee shops are way too hipster-modern (La Colombe) and 90% of the rest are dark and dreary. Panera in Conshohocken has a fire place in a semi private room and on the flip side the main room feels open and fresh, with at least 8 bright, big windows due to a corner location. The food can be very healthy, and the pastries are above par, yet the coffee isn't that great. If Panera would get a higher quality brew, a drive through, or better sweats then this location would earn 5 stars without a doubt. Parking is wonderful here by the way, and as far as service, the manager Erika was peppy, nice, to the point, and helpful. Keep up the good work everyone! read more

On our way to Peddlers Village we stopped by here for a quick lunch (mainly because we needed an outdoor dining option since we had our golden retriever puppy with us). Not sure why the low rating for this place, I was quite pleased with my experience. This is the first Panera I have been in that has the self service registers which I took full advantage of, very user friendly and it gives you the chance to peruse all your options without feeling the pressure of a cashier waiting for your order while a line of people builds behind you. Once you place your order and grab your cup you wait to receive a text that it is ready for pick up. Both of our meals were great, hubby loved the spicy chicken sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup is always loaded with veggies. I got the Pick 2 as well - a Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Thai Chicken soup. The sandwich was great, loaded with chicken and red onions per my request but the soup was lacking - no chicken or much of anything besides broth, should have went with my go to which is Creamy Chicken and Rice. I also like that this location has all the to go containers in the pick up area so you don't have to ask the people behind the counter. I did notice a nice fireplace area inside which I would take advantage of if in the area again. Clean inside and outside but it would be awesome if they had outdoor and outdoor heater or 2 going in the colder months. Given that Panera Bread food is fairly standardized across its many franchises, I don't want this comment or rating to pertain to the menu selection so much as the overall ambience of the restaurant. This is one of my favorite places to work because it's spacious, has lots of natural light, offers free wifi, and has great spots for those who like both warmer (fireplace area) and cooler (lots of window seating) work environments. The staff are usually quite friendly and attentive, which makes for a great experience all-around. All the spaces are kept clean (bathrooms included), and the smooth jazz that permeates the cafe nicely rounds off the experience. read more

I don't know what happened to this location. It used to be one of the nicest, cleanest, most efficient Panera locations I've visited. On a recent visit, the tables were dirty. The floors were dirty. The coffee station was really dirty. I mean the coffee urns themselves had dust and stuff of the spigots where the coffee comes out. The staff was NICE, but sort of relaxed for an am rush hour. There was no one at the register, I had to ask someone to take my order. There were no napkins available except the one given on your plate. They don't have raisin bread anymore, which was my weekly grab and go for my elder parents. On the plus side the food quality was ok, and what they did have was fresh. With unlimited budget of time and cash I can go anywhere but I got lazy and went to Panera. This is a go to chain for us travelers since the baked goods blow lesser chains like Dunkin Donuts away. With the decent food you can get here the coffee is definitely lacking. The shopping center where this place is located has a Starbucks on the opposite end. I'm not that nutty to score my Asiago bagel egg sandwich and hike to Starbucks for a decent cup of java. The place has plenty of room plenty of parking and plenty of fast friendly counter help.
