How I heard of this place: When I traveled to Chicago about two decades ago, conference attendees suggested Panera as a good lunch spot. They weren't wrong. Their broccoli cheddar soup became a quick favorite! This visit included a meager gift card, so was a short visit. Type of cuisine: "Good food served in warm, welcoming spaces by people who care can bring out the best in all of us. That's been our belief since opening our first cafe in St. Louis in 1987. While our company has grown, our values, purpose and core beliefs remain as strong as ever, as does our commitment to our mission. With thousands of company-owned and franchised locations across the U.S. and in Canada and over a hundred thousand associates across our system, we embrace the opportunity to spread generosity to our communities, the planet and you." From my experience, it's a typical lunch space with sandwiches, pastries and salads, along with beverages - hot and cold - to satisfy. Ambiance: Large and cozy, warm yet corporate. The space is clean and the staff and set-up efficient. Order at the counter upon entering (with plenty of space to the door to offer ease in lining up), then take your food to one of plenty booth seating and table/chair set-ups throughout the dining area. No frills, yet clean and organized. What I ordered: A large M'n'M topped cookie. What I loved: Efficiency and ease of ordering. Why I loved it: The cookie left a big smile on the face of my little one. Cost: Average ($3 per cookie)

    Toasted Italiano as advertised.

We used to like this place for sandwiches. The new menu item Toasted Italiano was great. Now, they've gotten cheap. No veges, ok there were onions. And they used this roll type bun that breaks in 2 but the inside is not cut so it was not easy to eat, with the contents spilling out. The bread is not the same as the baguette style. They just lost 2 regulars.

Gone downhill... how sad. Soup was bad today too. It used to be a favorite of ours but not anymore.

Boring cheese sandwich with nothing but boring American cheese

Holy moly, $40 for 2 tomato soups and 2 grilled cheese. I can make this at home bro, it's bread and cheese and butter and tomato soup. How can you possibly justify charging $40??!?!?! AND IT'S JUST AMERICAN CHEESE! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??? I COULD MAKE THIS BETTER!!!

They never cooked my grain bowl it was hard and cold and I got it fresh I live so close

I'd been…read morecurious about its other locations for a long time, but never actually made it in to check it out. Definitely a great thing to come out of the fire that destroyed the previous buildings at this location. The strip mall is still adding businesses, but usually parking is fairly easy, turning in and out of it from Hwy 99 may have its challenges. I will warn you that although this food is delicious, it is pay by weight so do be aware of this when you go in. You get your own bowl and tongs to go thru the line and choice exactly what you want in your meal. So many noodle, veggie and tofu options, but also a huge area devoted to meat. I will also say to skip the cilantro as that can be added after in the free sauce area (this is such a great bonus on it's own). There any many meal options to choose from. My fav is the Tom Yum, but I have also had the Tomato and keep meaning to try the dry noodles. My partner often thinks he wants the spicy, but this is extra spicy so do order that cautiously. After filling your bowl you go to the counter where they weigh your food and enter in what style you want. Unlike other hot pot places, you do not cook this yourself, they cook it in the back and then call your number when it is ready to be grabbed and brought to your table. This can be a tremendous amount of food and it's messy, so don't wear your best clothes if you are a messy eater like me. They are happy to let you pack up your leftovers, which are delicious later and make me feel better about how much I am spending. We do sometimes worry that we will not be able to get a seat, but so far we have not had to wait to sit down. They do bring you orange slices and you can get soft serve for after your meal. The employees are always friendly.

There wasn't a single thing we ordered that we wouldn't order again! I got the Roast Pork & Poblano taco. Homemade corn tortilla, topped with the mildy spicy filling. So good! My girlfriend got the Black Bean Mole Kale, which is one of several vegetarian/vegan items on the menu. Equally good. We shared a plate of the Papas; the garlic sauce, although bright pink, was delectable. They have a fine selection of brews and ciders on tap. I ordered the Finn River Organic Cider and felt it went well with the meal (dry, subtle flavor). Service was cafeteria style (order at the counter). It did take a while for our food to arrive--there was a larger party just ahead of us and everything is freshly made--but we really didn't mind the wait. FYI, the place is tiny, and I could see it filling quickly at busy times. There are two large tables inside (we shared one with another couple), a smattering of tables for 2, and some counter seating inside and out. Great place! I'll definitely be back!

They have your classic brisket and even tongue, and if you like slightly chewier meat, go with brisket. If you want more tender, go with tongue. They even bring out dadegi, which is so classic for this dish and makes me feel at home. If you're a fan of mixing textures, definitely order the seafood pancake! So crispy, but also chewy from the seafood, and they definitely don't skimp out on portions of ingredients and the size of this dish in general! I have never had such a good seafood pancake, and it'll definitely be one I crave in the future. The place is so clean and cozy, modern, and the chairs are comfy. Came across this place with strong reviews, and the name itself includes seollongtang, which is always a good sign that soup is taken seriously here. The restaurant is much more polished and refined than I expected. We ordered the combination and the cartilage and tendon one. I am always here for tendon, so that was an easy decision. My husband went with white wheat noodles and I chose the clear sweet potato noodles. It also came with rice, which was an unexpected but welcome addition. The banchan of kimchi radish and kimchi Napa cabbage were both excellent and refilled quickly without needing to ask twice. The soup is rich, creamy, and deeply comforting, the kind you immediately wish you had closer to home. Only wish is that they had a combination that included tendon, because that would be perfect. Definitely a spot I would come back to when we are in the area.

When our drink its served on beer glass with ice that already crush or shake together with the drink. If the drink dont come in options "on the rocks" we're totally okay. Maybe saying "my apologies, the drink don't come in options on the rocks, should i make a change" or anything. But the server with the beige shirt teaching us that our drinks is served "on the rocks". It looks like he's teaching us back about our order. while our server its the one giving us the options for that. I do feel embarrassed about this. But it's ok. This place its just not going to be to our recommendation because of the server. Also the server should not took the menu and read whats inside the dish in front of us. My wife and I ordered: Chicken Pad Thai Tofu Kua Gai The Pad Thai was decent - nothing remarkable. The noodles were a firmer than I liked, but the chicken was overcooked and dry (and paltry - I only got a few pieces). The sweetness carried the plate, but nothing stood out to me.
