Needed to find some space to get down work done, and the Wi-Fi and seating areas were all clean and spacious. Grabbed some oatmeal and a smoothie, and all tasted great. Big fan of their smoothie, just a little pricey. The lady that took my order was really friendly and all the employees seemed friendly too. Overall, great experience.

Surprised this is rates so low. It was very clean, modern, and nice. Staff was prompt with a mobile order for pick-up, and the facilities were definitely very modern and clean. This would be an ideal place to work remotely if you are able to do so. Quality of our drinks were up to what we expected, and the coffee/tea area was clean and well stocked. I wouldn't hesitate to stop in and eat here, overall it's great.

10/10 would recommend Everything about this Panera was a win! The staff was so friendly and kind. The restrooms and dining area were clean and welcoming! Our food was the best I've ever had at a Panera . The sandwiches were neatly made and my salad was a masterpiece both in presentation and taste. I took pictures after I took a bite!!! I told the cashier I actually believed the sticker on our cookie that said "Made with Love!" This will be a land mark stop for our road trips from here on out! Great job to the staff at this Panera!

It's been open a week. Took a little than I expected and I felt sorry those driving thru. I had Mac & cheese and tomato soup in a large bowl. Both were very good. My wife had a pepperoni pizza. It looked good but the crust was tough. They call it flat bread. My big issue was the lack of ambiance in the dining area. Could have been any fast food restaurant. I'll miss the cozy booths and nooks and cranny's of the bigger stores. I'm sure I'll be back.

Customer service is bad. The food isn't as good. Way to expensive. Bring back the chicken salad sandwich you used to have.

I was disappointed…read morethat the online booking tool did not allow me to enter a special occasion so the restaurant had no idea it was our anniversary. There is apparently no difference in service. My hubs ordered a glass of merlot and I ordered their lemon/blueberry martini. The merlot was nice but the martini was out of this world. My new fave drink! We started with the asparagus dip and again, the best we'd ever tried. We ordered their smothered chicken and an off menu pasta with sausage. Both were incredible. I wanted to try their pasta so I ordered a side of fettuccine in herbed butter. It too was lovely. The venue is in the basement of a former Carnegie Library. It's a little dark and has a speakeasy feel. We turned the lamp on our table to a brighter setting to see a bit better. Our server was Chris. He is very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the food, business and building. The GM, Jeremy, gave us a tour of the upstairs portion of the building where they hold specialty events. Overall, we loved all of our evening and were able to have this experience right at $100 for both of us. We'll be back!

NY strip wrapped Asparagus was good but not something I'd get again ... kind of bland. My SO ordered Pork Parmesan over spaghetti but didn't like it as much as I liked the smothered chicken. It had great flavor and texture with mashed potatoes and green beans. With the new ownership, I was hoping for an upgrade in the dining area. We went on a weekday for a special occasion... my SO's birthday. They gave him a card which was a nice gesture but service was slow for a slow night. The room was freezing... the door opens and the cold rushes into the basement-like dining room. It's still too dark (couldn't see the menu without using our phone flashlight). The chairs are not comfortable. Overall it's too expensive for me and it'll be a long time before I go again. (We tend to drive to Fortville for dinner and are never disappointed with multiple restaurants to choose from. ) The reason I gave a 3 is because of the service, the room temperature and the fact that we only really enjoyed the chicken dish. They also might serve a piece of cake for a birthday if they wanted to impress me... lol.

I can honestly say I have not had soup this delicious in a long time. This is one of those times when I want Yelp to offer more stars, because I want to give this place even more than five stars. I wish I could say that I found La Casa de las Sopas myself. But really, it was a tenacious friend who found La Casa de las Sopas for me. You see, I was in search of albondigas: a Mexican meatball and vegetable soup. It's a simple dish, and pretty common in Latin communities. I wanted to eat it on a meaningful day: the anniversary of my mom's death, because albondigas was her favorite food. But it was surprisingly difficult for me to find a restaurant in Indy that served this dish. But lo: La Casa de las Sopas emerged from a deep-dive search! These guys are hiding in plain sight. They are posted up in a cool mid-century modern building right off of Shadeland Avenue and 38th Street. They aren't on Yelp (well, now they are) and they don't have a website, but they're there on the east side, quietly making the best Central American / Mexican soup in Indianapolis. My server did not speak English, and I only spoke a little broken Spanish. So keep that in mind when you visit! Maybe have Google Translate pulled up. I ordered the albondigas, and she told me, "No." Then pointed to the menu and said "yes" to the soup they did have. What?! You mean I came to this restaurant on the day my mom died to eat a special soup, and now I'm not going to eat that soup?! Somewhat dejectedly, I ordered the caldo de res (beef soup). I asked in my most primitive Spanish: "Albondigas otro dia?" (Another day meatball soup?) She said tomorrow. But then a few minutes later, like magic, the server emerged from the back and said, "Albondigas, yes!" I got so excited that I think I clapped my hands and danced in my seat. My albondigas dream would soon come true. Now that I think about it, I might have looked so desperate for Mexican meatball soup that the server might have asked the kitchen to make me some. If so, ay dios mio! What service! I don't know what happened in between me being sad at the possibility of no albondigas soup and receiving my albondigas soup in front of my face, but it was nothing short of a miracle. There really are no words for the albondigas soup at La Casa de las Sopas. It was even better than the soup my mom made -- especially the broth. I could have just drank the unctuous, meaty broth by itself. There were several big rice-studded meatballs in the soup. The soup also had chunks of potato and carrot, all swimming in that beautiful broth. On the side, you get a dish of rice. I suggest taking a spoonful of rice and dunking it in the broth and eating that comforting spoonful in one bite. You also get homemade corn tortillas. The tortillas looked and tasted like they were freshly pressed and pan fried. My entire albondigas dish was so much more than I expected in every way. The restaurant itself is so pretty. Flowers and vines hang from the ceiling, and there are selfie spots with neon signs to take photos. And the restrooms! I don't usually comment on the restrooms at restaurants unless they're extraordinary, but the restrooms here are spotless. The whole restaurant is spotless, really. You can tell that these guys put a lot of thought and effort into decorating and creating a space to enjoy delicious soup.
