I stopped in for a salad on a Friday evening. There were hardly any baked goods available. I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad. The lettuce was fresh but lots of the white chunks that are bitter. It was heavy on the dressing. The salad was underwhelming. I do like their freshly brewed iced tea and lemonade. I always liked coming here to relax & enjoy some food. The music is at a good level & upbeat. There is one thing that really irked me. Orders are placed at a cash register after reading a menu that's high up on a wall. You are given a cup to get your own beverage and a pager to pick your own meal. Then you hope to find a fairly clean table that has been bussed by the previous customer. You pick up your own meal at a counter & return the pager. My question is WHY am I asked to add a tip to my bill? If I did leave a tip, who gets it? The cashier? Food assembler? Baker? There's no server, food runner, or busser. The only person who deserves a tip is a delivery person who uses their own vehicle for deliveries. Okay, the rant is finished. TO START, THIS IS THE WORST PANERA EVER. I have been to many paneras and this one, is by far the most awful, disgusting, repulsing restaurant ever. The employees were constantly chatting and laughing instead of doing their work which caused our order to take over 30 minutes. IT WAS NOT EVEN CROWDED. IT WAS A TUESDAY AT 11. The coffee was MISLABELED, the flavored coffee was in the regular coffee canister which was also cold. ON TOP OF THAT, they only give you your drink cups when the food comes out instead of allowing you to have a drink while waiting, which would've made the 30 minute wait go quicker. It doesn't matter which Panera Bread we go to, the orders include almost the same thing every time. A strawberry smoothie. My youngest loves the strawberry smoothie from Panera Bread. I really like using the kiosks inside for when I order because it remembers my favorites list. Every Panera looks similar, not a ton of frills. The drink stations are nice because you can refill your drink before leaving. The open kitchen is nice because you can talk to a person in the event you have a question or issue. My food might not always be the best, but as long as the Strawberry Smoothie continues to be made the exact same way at every location, I will continue to give 5 stars because you made my kids day. read more

Came for a quick breakfast with my son. Ordered a Pumpkin Muffin and a Strawberry Pecan Oatmeal with extra cinnamon topping. Our eat-in order took about 10 minutes. The location didn't appear to be busy, but they could have used one extra person working the front of the house. There were only two people working registers, checking orders upon completion and running outside for curbside pickup. My son seemed to like his muffin. Would be nice if it came out heated upon request, but heating it yourself in their microwave is pretty standard at all Paneras I've been to. The oatmeal was okay. This Panera is located in a large shopping center, but is located in an isolated building. Inside of this Panera you have the option to order from their kiosks or from the cashiers. I decided to order from the kiosk and got a steak, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel along with a strawberry banana smoothie. After around 5-10 minutes my sandwich and smoothie was dropped off at my table. I have never had that happen to me before at Panera, but I appreciated it. My breakfast sandwich, which is fairly new at Panera was very good. The bagel was moist, thick and covered in tasty toppings. The steak and cheese were also very tasty. Swing by for breakfast before sacrificing myself to the magic of Hershey park. They really do a bunch of excellent breakfast options. Almost embarrassed to admit we have been to different Paneras the last 3 days for breakfast while on the way to adventures. We have mainly had - the Greek yoghurt and fruit (way better than expected- thick yoghurt, and they separate the granola so it doesn't go soggy ), bagels , sandwiches with egg/ bacon/ sausage, scones, egg soufflé, coffee. My personal favourite was the scrambled egg and cheese sandwich plus the blueberry scone - nice crunchy edges- I hate the soggy ones. Overall Panera have a great model, it's clean and airy inside, they are separating tables for social distancing, food is good and fresh etc etc. What kills me / cracks me up is how often they screw up the order- it's our 3rd breakfast at Panera and every day they have got stuff wrong. Specific examples - bagel wasn't toasted and had no cream cheese today. Yesterday sandwiches were on ciabatta instead of brioche Day before, eggs were fried instead of scrambled. They are always super nice and fix it all, but I do laugh and wonder why some of the 19 people working there can't seem to do any checking of the actual orders...! read more

Well, let me just say that I LOVE Panera. I should also say how disappointed I am to write this review. I have gastro issues, so I don't eat much because I don't have an appetite. So when I crave something it's a big deal. I ordered from Panera, fully ready to pick it up until I saw delivery. Since I just got in from running errands, I thought I'd let them deliver to me. I ordered the bacon cheese melt, a caramel iced coffee, four cookies and another dessert. I added extra things to the sandwhich - avocado, smoked tomato relish, emerald greens, changed my cheese from American to white cheddar - oh - and extra bacon. On pepper focaccia bread, so I figured the bread could handle the extra fixins. I placed my order, asking for no-contact delivery and explicit instructions as to where I was located. I asked that delivery be between 5:45 and 6:00, and read that I could track my order and be notified when it was on the way. At about 5:45 I tracked my order, only to read they were still preparing it - which was fine, at least I knew where in the process it was. Approximately 6:10, my boyfriend went outside and said "It's here - but I don't know how long it's been here!" Let me say that the cup was sweating profusely, the whipped cream and ice had all but melted. So I call and ask to speak to a manager, and I'm on the phone with - I'll call him N. I explain to him what happened - at this point I hadn't looked in the bag. He seemed very uninterested in my plight. I explain the app said someone would contact me when it was being delivered - he said "well I don't know much about the app." To which I responded "But you DO know about delivery and how it works - especially the no-contact delivery??? Unless you tell me this is the very first delivery made." He had no answers and to be quite honest, I'm sure a half-hearted apology was made -- and he did offer to send over a new drink. But how do you know it's not spit in?? Anyway - the sandwich was so messy; no extra bacon or sauce, and the avocado was in chunks as opposed to sliced. I paid $3.19 for extra bacon. Considering it was a bacon cheese melt, I should have gotten bacon in every bite. While the smoked tomato relish was tasty, the skins were so tough I couldn't chew them. And of course it was cold. Which I know happens but I live maybe ten minutes away. To summarize, not only was the food disappointing, I found the customer service to be sorely lacking indeed. I've been to that Panera so many times and know the food is always visually appealing and I get it the way I order it...So be warned if you ask for delivery! read more

One of the better service Panera's I've been to. No crowds and they bring your order to your table. The staff didn't roll their eyes or give me attitude when I asked for an item no longer on the menu. They had a nice outdoor seating area and overall the inside was very clean. On the downside, my sierra turkey was lacking a good ratio of yummy "inners" which makes it a sandwich as this one was primarily bread/lettuce. I've noticed when he is there things seem to go a lot smoother but, they really need to get someone else in there when he's not there. I'm not even sure if he's Management?! So first let me start by saying we got four meals and a kiddie meal along with two cookies for the nieces. The price point was $50. Although I think of this as a fast food joint due to how you place your order at the counter (kinda annoying), the bill would reflect more of a sit down restaurant, which is also what this is. Regardless, you are paying for freshness and high quality food. So I guess I can't complain. They have great food here. Their salads and broth bowls are so fresh and good! We also tried the tortellini which was a smaller portion than i expected but it was really good. The kids mac and cheese was loved by my niece. I really need to go back for the wonton broth bowl! Order was ready 1 hour AFTER time it should have been completed! It was a big order. So, I figured they would be late as always. I was willing to give them half hour leeway. Then 45 minutes came and still nothing. The waiting area was littered with people who had been there waiting as long as me. I finally was able to ask a cashier about my order. "Oh, they are preparing it now. " Me "Ok, do you have ETA? It was supposed to be done by 11:15. It is now 12." Cashier "Like, 5 minutes." Order finally comes up as ready. Go up to rapid pick up. Nothing. Find the same cashier again. She finds it and helps me to my car. Get back to work and NOTHING is labeled!!! No idea what the sandwiches or salads are. No names-why bother ask for names if you aren't going to use them???? Get out master list....oh look, we are missing 5 lunches. Try calling cafe, twice. No answer, because of course, it is there busy time. Drive back to the cafe. Low and behold, they forgot to give me a bag. "Our apologies." Get back and guess what still missing 2 sandwiches. When I got home, and looked at everything, I discovered that not only did I not receive my extra avocado, I didnt receive any at all (which I paid $1.00 more for).
