Both were drowned in ranch making eating them as a sandwich impossible - the chicken as well as the toppings slid right out of the bun. We both agreed that the sandwich was just not very good. The fries looked amazing but couldn't deliver. I've been to Rubber Soul several times over the years. Excellent place for a sip of beer. We did a flight of 4 5 oz tastes. Beers were good and waitress was very nice. We had appetizers of cheesesteak eggrolls and they were really good. The room was also loud and hard to hear each other. I ordered the pear and prosciutto pizza. I really enjoyed it! I would go back for that pizza. My boyfriend got the hot honey chicken boli and was not as impressed. He did try a slice of my pizza and said that the pizza was much better. I think he'd return to try different menu items. Not bad. We came in on a Monday evening and were able to get seated right away, even with a larger party. The whole place has a great vibe with the industrial, brick exposures. Inside is a nice size with a bar and plenty of seating. TVs and some games throughout as well. There is an outdoor patio in the front as well. The food here is delicious! Everyone in our party was happy with their meal. The pizzas are great and definitely shareable. I would recommend the Mike's Hot Honey Chicken Stromboli and the Salmon BLT. Great portions and very well made. They have a great selection of their brews! Whatever type of beer you like, they make. The Aunt Shandy is fantastic - a perfect summer shandy and easy to drink! Very good meal personally Nashville hot sandwich, wasn't a traditional spicy chicken that you would expect. But still good in its own way fries and ranch to go with the meal complimented it perfectly. Our server wasn't the most attentive we waited about half an hour for our food, on top of that two of the meals at my table were wrong or messed up which can play into both party's, server or kitchen. Stopped in for lunch with a friend and what I love is a large bottle of cold water and glasses on the table when we are seated. What a great idea! I was sooo thirsty and didn't have to wait for a glass of water. I sampled two beers and I chose the Shanty because it was nice and light and only 4% alcohol content. It's pretty neat they have numerous sizes to choose from. I was driving so I ordered a small. My friend got an orange crush and said it was good. I ordered the mushroom pizza with burrata and a side salad with Green Goddess dressing. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich. Our meals were delicious! The pizza was large and sooo good! The dressing on the salad was yummy!! My friend enjoyed her chicken sandwich and we both thought the fries were good. She even liked her pickle and she doesn't like pickles that much. We went to Rubber Sole on a Tuesday as a party of 11 around 5pm. We had no problem getting a table. Overall the food was good, however I had a bad taste in my mouth with our server. First visit after some tile shopping in Harrisburg...Troegs Hershey is our usual go-to but always searching for a brewery to visit. Super happy to discover this place. We chose bar seating in front of the bustling kitchen, mid-day Saturday. We enjoyed several 5oz pours to sample the beer, no "flights". Loved the Pale Ale, and both IPA. There was a session on as well, Lil Homie, was super drinkable. We enjoyed watching all the food come out of the kitchen, eventually had a March special called Cajuncini, a Jambalya style meatball based on rice...super good. The lobster/shrimp tacos were excellent. We shared, (3) would have been too much for me. Good, friendly service with smiles, even from the kitchen (thanks especially to Rachael, who was running food). Such a fun spot! We were driving through the area and wanted a local brewery to try and Rubber Soul was a great place to stop. Very busy on Friday evening and we grabbed spots at the bar. I enjoyed my visit to the Rubber Soul Brewery. It is less than a 10 minute drive from Hershey Lodge. I visited on a late Sunday afternoon around 6. I was able to get a seat at the bar and was quickly greeted by one of the bartenders. She was attentive and friendly. I had the Beefwhich which was extremely tender, with a "Fan Favorite " IPA and a "Down the Hatch" NE IPA. My sandwich came out very quickly (less than a 10 minute ticket time). I would highly encourage anyone nearby who wants something decent to eat with a good pint to visit. Rubber Soul has a good vibe to it and would highly recommend. I really enjoyed my visit. read more

Impressive little brewery in Hummelstown PA. We had a vacation ruined , so we tried to make the best of it, and did some local trips instead to places we've never been. This place popped up on our map and we drove over. Parked the car, went in. Were seated by a very friendly young man named Brian whom the staff seemed very friendly with and were helping him out with everything (Brian was disabled and talking and greeting everyone seemed right up his alley, He gave us our menus , got us our water and we were ready to have some beer and food. We ordered 4 5 oz pours to share, and ordered the avocado burrata and the short rib poutine. The burrata was fantastic,and we have a local Italian market near us so we will be recreating this. Our only issue was the tomato was very very .. tough. It's not tomato season though, so we look forward to a great garden tomato in August and trying this again. The short rib poutine was really good. However, whoever made it or whoever gave the instructions on how to make it, were more worried about how to make sure you saw how much short rib you were getting (a generous amount) and less about the mixture. A great poutine should have cheese curds (this seemed more shredded cheese), hand cut heavy duty fries(definitely), and a good gravy. The gravy and cheese were really hidden. Once you swirled it all around and worked at it, you got a great mixture and a delicious bite. the Beer was very very average to above average. Worth the stop for the food, the beer is pretty much your standard above average brewpub fare. If you're in the area, you should check it out, and if you are heading to Hersey , you may want to take the side trip here. I feel like we will be back for some of the other dishes based on the quality of what we had. read more

This was our first visit to Rubber Soul Brewing and boy-o-boy was this the right choice for incredible service, delicious food and a great atmosphere! We had Briana H. as our server, and she was the very best ambassador for the restaurant! She was friendly and helpful and knew the menu like the back of her hand. WHEN we go back, we hope to get Briana as our server! If you own Rubber Soul, give Briana a HUGE raise or part ownership (she did not put us up to this suggestion nor did she write this review)! Now...the food! The food was INCREDIBLE and the menu will make your head spin with the variety and creativity! They have steamed clams...which were prepared to perfection (well, they were a little sandy, but they're CLAMS after all). Honestly, the clams were delicious with ice cold beer (and they have a wonderful selection of beers...try the "Fresh Dew" or the "Mango Dew"). Both were PERFECT with clams...and everything else we ordered. Honestly, if you come to Hershey (Rubber Soul is in Hummelstown) and you don't stop here, then you're just plain missing the boat. We've been coming to the area for years, and for some reason have never ventured into Hummelstown. BIG MISTAKE and now we're sold. Interesting place. Service, food, and beer selection are all good, and I hear it's the sort of locale that draws a regular crowd of locals. It's clean and modern in that way that could be quite loud I imagine. If you're there during any sort of usually busy time for this type of business (e.g., after work), just plan on street parking instead of the lot -- the lot is quite tiny. We ended up finding our own tables outside (where it was quieter and the weather was great anyway) and helped ourselves, then had to track someone down for menus. They were definitely busy - there was a festival downtown and they were reaping the benefits of that. However, the server, nice as she was, was clearly having trouble keeping up and seemed a bit scatter brained. We had to ask for things like silverware and napkins, and I had a question about the tortilla chips with the guac as I love guac and wanted to try it, but sometimes tortilla chips are house-made and therefore not safe for me to eat. She didn't know if they were house-made or from a bag... something that should be in a server's basic menu training. She forgot to check, so I just went with a cauliflower crust pizza, which tasted pretty much like every other gluten-free crust out there even though she raved about how awesome it was. It was fine. Not great, but fine. Overall we were there for the company, not the food, and it was our fault we didn't eat beforehand. It's becoming more of a thing now to find breweries with mediocre beer and food that just isn't the wow factor and that's exactly what can be found here. When it comes to breweries I guess I'm just picky as I've been to a ton of them across the country so I've had the very best and the very worst this right here though was definitely somewhere closer to the bottom of that scenario. The beers were ok like the mango one I had just tasted like a sour terrible IPA while the other one wasn't as bad but still not that great. The bacon wrapped dates were small for the price and some of them were burned like I'm all for crispy bacon but when it's charred on one side I'm not that into it. My chicken sandwich was interesting the whole time I ate the chicken I kept saying to myself why is this reminding me of rubber as it was like flimsy it was definitely interesting in it's own as it wasn't the best thing ever but definitely not the worst but that chicken was just kinda strange. Overall this brewery will be a hard pass for me next time as there are more options in the area and I just really didn't think too highly of this one even after my second visit. read more

Rubber Soul brewing was excellent! Parking was a breeze, and it had both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside was a nice and chill atmosphere. The service was great, and our food was served quickly. Our waitress was attentive. I got the beefwich, which was awesome! The beef was cooked perfectly, it had a perfect amount of gravy, and the mustard added a nice twang. I'm not sure if the onion ring really added much because it got soggy in the sauce. Their fries were superb, the perfect level of frying and salted beautifully. My mom got the southwest salad. It had a good amount of toppings, but she did say it lacked flavor. My dad got the buffalo chicken pizza with cauliflower crust. The flavor of the buffalo was unique and delicious. The cauliflower crust was thin and crispy. My only wish is that they would have some sour beer options (I only like sours!), and they'd be a solid 5/5 stars. read more

The service was friendly and efficient, with everyone treating us like we were regulars.
