Although I think of this as a fast food joint due to how you place your order at the counter (kinda annoying), the bill would reflect more of a sit down restaurant, which is also what this is. Regardless, you are paying for freshness and high quality food. So I guess I can't complain. They have great food here. Their salads and broth bowls are so fresh and good! No one at the registers because you have to use the kiosk which is inaccurate as to their food supply. Workers ambulating around but not sure if they're working. Terrible service, disorganized, and not worth it. I'm currently living in the hospital - literally across the street from this location - waiting on a heart transplant. While they have delivery service, they specifically will not deliver to the hospital. Fine. But the last three times we've placed a pick-up order, either salad dressings, side orders, or entire entrees have been missing. Since my wife has (all three times) waited for the guy to unpack the bag, check the items against the ticket, and put it all back (for "accuracy" according to them), you would figure they would spot entire entrees missing, or absent salad dressings. They don't. THREE TIMES. When she called to complain, she was told by the manager that they were "very busy." Well, duh. It's a restaurant at dinner time. How is that her problem? What kind of manager makes excuses instead of apologizing? We've gotten a similar excuse every time this happens. They don't offer to bring the missing items to the front doors of the hospital - which would be easy for them since they already have delivery drivers. She on the other hand would have to leave the huge hospital campus, navigate the parking garage and hospital traffic to go back for the missing items. They offered to do nothing - not even give a refund. So she had to demand a refund for the missing item, and they could only refund the money by SNAIL MAIL. Despite being able to order online - they can't refund money any other way. WHAT? Complaining to customer service got me a $10 gift card (1/4th of the bill for the screwed up order) and a vague apology in a form letter that did nothing to address the specific issues. There's no way they even read my entire complaint. So after 10 years as faithful Panera customers, we're done. There's an Applebee's across the street and a Chipotle down the road. That's where my money goes from now on. Yours should too. read more

Ordered online for catering. The assistant manager calls THE DAY OF EVENT at THE DELIVERY time to report that the address was outside of their delivery zone. When I called back the assistant manager apologized and said she would figure out a way to get the food to our event and left it at that. The supposed manager of the establishment then calls, first of all begins saying how it was not their fault at all that they called AT THE DELIVERY TIME that they REFUSE to deliver the food and that it would be available for it to be picked up. SEVERAL times raised her voice and THREATENED to hang up the phone if we did not agree to her terms. Finally "said" she would call the Camp Hill location and have it delivered there, at least get the items half way, to which that was already 30 mins late. REFUSED to apply a refund or offer anything due to the inconvenience. Went over to the Camp Hill site to which the staff had NO idea we were coming or of any order that was supposed to be coming their way. Ended up asking the manager of the Camp Hill location to provide whatever foods or desserts they could spare for our event. Called this location again to inquire why they had failed to provide the Camp Hill with the food or any communication about our missing order to which we received more rude, incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful hateful commentary along the lines of "this was no longer their problem".... please please beware of catering from this location, not only will you NOT get your food, but you will be met with incredibly rude and u professional staff that will honestly ruin any event. read more

Poor customer service, I walked in and waited 5 minutes at the counter before just using self order. Tonight they were out of kale, baguettes, cucumbers and avocado. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch today. He ordered the frontega chicken sandwich and I ordered the bbq chicken flatbread. They brought us our food and the chicken in both of our dishes was underdone. I took it to the counter and explained that we would not eat it cus the chicken was undercooked. The staff was very friendly and helpful with choosing what to eat. They were very informative and willing to cater to your dietary needs. I had the Asian Chicken Salad (not the exact name, sorry) which had a very good peanut sauce but in my opinion too much pineapple. Other than the pineapple it was perfect. My friend had the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich which she enjoyed. We got free water and sides (the options were chips, bread or an apple) and a 99 cent baked good as part of our meal. Since I started law school, I've always gone to Panera on exam days as a ritual of mine. Today, I went to place an order online and noticed all the bagels were sold out. Thinking it was a mistake, I went inside and noticed there was an abundance of bagels. Confused and thinking the kiosk was wrong, I approached a friendly staff member who was also confused on why I couldn't place an order. Over walks another obviously annoyed staff member who treated me like garbage, ripping off her gloves to let me know that it was intentionally set that way and asking me what I wanted. Another customer and I chatted about the confusion and as I walked out, she approached this customer (obviously a regular) to tell him kindly why they didn't offer bagels. I have a bagel now, and I'm so disturbed that I lost my appetite. This is my exam day and while I know what it's like to work retail, that was so uncalled for. read more

The fast lane kiosks wouldn't let you use your member card, the ice machine was broken, two different types of soda at the soda fountain were flat, my order got messed up, and just about every table in the dining area was dirty. I've been here many times. The key to getting what you want is checking your food right after it arrives. If there are ingredients you really like, pick through your meal to make sure it's there. Like today, I ordered an egg, avocado and cheese sandwich without the bread. I receive my meal in a little bowl, per usual when I order this. And I look for the avocado, my favorite part. It's not there. Why would I order and pay for this particular item if they're out of avocado. And I gave a tip. You'd think if I'm tipping they'd have the decency to let me know they are out of avocado. So I went up to the counter and ordered egg, cheese and bacon sandwich minus the bread. On take out orders, this situation is the worst. They often forget items and prepare them incorrectly and NEVER tell you. So you get home and you're like what is this. Only good thing about this specific Panera is the computerized ordering machines, they let you add or take away ingredients without slowing the line down behind you. Thank you Panera for that, please put them at all locations! This place used to be better, but the staff now just has no pride or customer service in what they do. By the way, if you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm an honest reviewer. I write reviews worth 5 stars, 4, 3, 2, it's all honest, so don't think I'm hating on Panera because of just 3 bad experiences. Just visited this Panera after placing an online order. When I arrived the order was not filled- BUT WAIT!. I did not have my phone to show a confirmation number. So I went to the cashier to paid for a reorder. The manager Peter, saw that I had been waiting very long for my food on a Saturday morning, and he gave me a FULL REFUND! When I got home and checked my phone, I saw the order didn't go through. So basically it was all my fault, but they still did everything they could to ensure a pleasant experience - and gave me free food! The restaurant was very clean, the servers friendly, the portion size adequate, the food fresh and delicious, the price reasonable. On the down side, the server never asked me about registering for a MYPanera card. It was my first visit. I tried to register it within the hour online but it would not take it. The parking lot is not good. It is too small and confusing. No spaces available and people parked in wrong places. Hard to leave the lot to go onto Route 93. However, it was at lunchtime. Not sure how crowded it is at other times. I will certainly return. It is a nice addition to the area. read more

This Panera bread is weird. First of all I walked in a no one was at the register. Then after I ordered the guy said I couldn't get a certain type of pastry for 99¢ like I do at any other Panera.
