This is pretty much a carry out or delivery spot. We walked in at 4:30 pm, and most of the tables weren't available . The service was quick because it was empty. They have a drive-through that was busy the entire time we sat there. No waitress .You just order,then seat yourself. We ordered the meat pasta,12 wings, and bread sticks. Everything was OK until we counted the wings and noticed our 12 wing order had 11 wings.so I called the lady over, and she apologized and offered to make 1 wing or a chocolate cookie or brownie. I was a bit disappointed in the overall service and quality of the food. My five factors for determining a rating: 1. Service: mostly friendly but staff didn't really smile and carried on personal conversations in front of customers and didn't show much eagerness to help or happiness to work there 2. Timeliness: food was just about ready when I arrived and within the quoted time of 15-20 minutes 3. Cleanliness: fairly clean with no debris or trash visible, counter area was free of clutter 4. Food quality: the pizza was made as requested and tasted good but the breadsticks were hard, cold, unflavorful, did not pull apart easily, and were unsatisfactory, as was the marinara sauce 5. Value: got a large pizza with one topping and an order of breadsticks for $15. The employee used a coupon for my order so the original total was $21-something. 6. Ambiance: This is a Wing Street/Pizza Hut combo restaurant. For a Friday night the dine-in was empty except for a family of 6-8 in the far end of the restaurant. Also, because is both a dine-in and a carry-out location, there was enough marketing material and signage to not feel dull and boring. There was music playing and the lighting and temperature were satisfactory. This is one Pizza Hut where I wouldn't mind dining in. Two other factors, safety of the location and convenience to me, are important for a potential repeat visit but are not considered in my overall rating because these are outside the restaurant's control. I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a pizza for pickup well ahead of closing time. They said it was being prepared but when we arrived to pick it up they hadn't made the pizza and they closed without making it. Why we continue to get food from here is beyond me. The only redeeming quality of this place is the cheesy breadsticks. The pan pizza is way thinner than it used to be. Toppings are always sparse, and the overall quality just isn't there. Staff is always friendly, food is quick to come out, but is usually disappointing. The marinara sauce that comes with the breadsticks had zero taste, and the pizza is just bland. I definitely miss the old Pizza Hut and their quality. read more

This Pizza Hut has been here since I was younger. I've always enjoyed the atmosphere here and the food is always on point. The wings are very good although the medium heat seems to be still quite hot if you're considering going with those. The cheese sticks are very good, as well as the desserts! I haven't had Pizza Hut in years and thought I'd try them again since I just got coupons in the mail. The delivery driver was very nice but the food not so much. The food was very bland and had no flavor it was like I wasn't eating anything. The marinara was very odd, tasted like watered down tomatoes and not very good tomatoes. I was vacationing in hershey park, looking for a place to eat with my family. Mistake #1 was that we decided to give pizza hut a chance. The standards were set fairly low to begin with, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. We sat down and the first thing we noticed was the negative vibe permeating from every other patron at the restaurant. Setting that aside, we continued to order from a waitress that was seemingly friendly. Our waitress was a heavy-set woman with dark hair and a nose ring for any future victims. Several minutes after ordering, she places another table's order in front of us and we had to explain to her that none of it was ours. She later returned with our entrees, but no appetizer or sides that we ordered. We had to frequently ask where the rest of our food was after she returned several times with segments of our meal and before we finished getting our food she asked if we would like to go cups which led us to feel very rushed. The final altercation was the catalyst for downloading this Yelp app and writing this review. After years of working in the restaurant industry we left a 15% tip even though the service was subpar. We continued to the register to pay our bill and asked if she could split it. She clearly could not grasp the concept of splitting a bill and spit balled some random prices. As we calculated our total she became intolerant of us questioning the total. We notified her that the tip was on the table initially. She began to raise her voice when she declined the change after "figuring out the total" and slammed the change on the table. We were baffled with her behavior. She then stated that she did not want our "tip" and we had to explain for a second time it was on our table. This unacceptable treatment we received is agreeably the worst dining experience of our lives. I know that because of this i will never return to another restaurant in this chain. The standard for the staff they hire is so low it makes me question whether this employee was even interviewed. Overall, if you are in the area take yourselves down to Bob Evans instead because they had the most pleasant staff taking care of us since we have been here. read more

So after our Bob Evans attempt...which is across the road and received 1 star...we gave Pizza Hut a try cause we needed to eat. We walked in..there were about 6 people waiting for carry out, 2 groups of 6 to 8 sitting down, and 2 couples sitting. The majority tables were clean but maybe 4 had dishes left on them. Now you have the picture. My family of 4 walked in and waited at the hostess stand. Waiting patiently, we saw the woman behind the counter frantically trying to serve the take-out folks. I also watched an older woman sitting and chuckled as she sucked every bit of liquid out of her cup making the international noise of "my glass is empty" as she scoured the waitress deserted land looking for any sign of life. As the spirits.of the customers appeared to fade, a gleamer of hope was spotted from the back as an employee escaped from the depth of the kitchen area. The old woman slightly smirked as she envisioned a quinching refill. As the waitress approached, another patron, glowing red, intercepted the waitress and went on to tell her..."our pizza is taking too long...I can't wait anymore so box it up!" At this point the dream of eating at this pizza hut began to fade. As the waitress disappeared back into the kitchen, my spirits rose as I saw another waitress, a different great white hope, appear on the horizon. As I watched her intently, hoping she'd come seat us, she passed right by me without even an acknowledgment. I figured she realized the older woman was wilting away, appearing to get older with each attempted slurp of her empty cup, but that too seemed too good to be true as she walked right past her as well. The great white hope waitress was simply there to bus tables. So she proceeded to do that with a sense of "I don't care about nothing but getting these dishes cleaned," and after my family waited 15 minutes, I made the command decision that I did not want to risk my family falling into the pits of despair hidden within this particular pizza hut...so we walked out realizing that was way too close of a call. On a side note...I do believe whoever decided to put a drive through in a Pizza Hut is a complete moron. All this does is simply add another degree of complexity for employees to manage which ultimately slows down the process on all levels. Basically the service was, both witnessed and felt, so poor we didn't get past the hostess. read more

This is actually a really nice and clean Pizza Hut. Food came in a reasonable amount of time, food (breadsticks, pan pizza with onions and peppers) tasted as it should. No complaints. I recommend the apple pies but tell them to hold the sugar and cinnamon. It will taste like those old fried McDonald's apple pies :) As for delivery, which is why I give it four stars instead of 5 - the first time I got delivery they put sugar on the apple pies, even though I said not to. The second time, they also put the sugar. Guess they didn't read the special instructions section. They also forgot to bring my breadsticks. They brought them as soon as I called, so it's ok. While my family was in town camping at the Hersheypark Camping Resort, one of my sons and I had a craving for wings. Since we didn't bring wings along in our camping food, we ordered from Pizza Hut. It took me a very long time (many calls over the course of 45 minutes to an hour) to get someone on the phone, as it would just ring and nobody would answer. Once I did get someone on the phone, everything went smooth as could be. They got the order out to me very quickly. The delivery driver met me at the main parking area of the campground and my son and I got our wing fix, which made us very happy. read more

I would give no stars if I was allowed to for this Pizza Hut. I ordered delivery for one pizza and a soda. The pizza that I ordered was supposed to be half pineapple half pepperoni. Then I had to wait over two hours to actually receive my pizza every time I looked at the time I was supposed to get it they kept pushing it back farther and farther. When I finally received my pizza it was all pineapple and half pepperoni. I left a tip for the driver in which it said three dollars totaling out to be $20 in which I wrote down on the paper. The next day I look at my bank account and it says $67 Pizza Hut. So then I had to call Pizza Hut and get my money back which was $50 off $50 tip like I would ever tip that much. Will never order from Pizza Hut again. Ridiculous and made sure that they would fire the delivery perso so then I had to call Pizza Hut and get my money back which was $50.
