    Chickichanga
    Emily M.

I asked our server for suggestions and, of the half dozen dishes he said he enjoys, I went with The Chickichanga. It isn't what I typically gravitate towards, but was a great experience. The dish was a melange of flavors and textures; it reawakened how much I miss the use of hatch green chilies. The spices in the chorizo and on the chicken were tempered by avocado and sour cream. There was an unexpected pop of citrusy acidity in the chickichanga's sauce that cut through what may have been too heavily unctuous without it. The potatoes were texturally delightful. They were soft inside, floury, with crispy edges on some of them and bits of cooked onion. There was a small fruit cup with red grapes, sliced strawberries, and bits of pineapple, none of which had the tinny taste or soft texture you sometimes get in mid-December. My spouse had a holiday special, carne asada breakfast tacos served with a side of black beans. The beans had pico de gallo on top. He had no complaints about his food, after he removed some of the pickled red onions. The steak was toothsome and well seasoned. He loved the corn tortillas. We both had coffee & water. Our server left the insulated coffee carafe after filling our cups and said to let him know if we needed more. The carafe maintained a good temperature for enjoying the coffee. All of the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was busy with it feeling rushed. This location is very busy, but still good for groups as there was a table of ladies doing a gift exchange during their lunch across the dining room.

Was seated almost immediately. The wait for the server was about 10 minutes-unacceptable. The drinks came fairly quickly but the wait for the food , longer than any other location I've visited-about 20-25 minutes. I ordered a turkey burger with no cheese. Burger came to the table with cheese. So I had to wait again for a new sandwich. Other than the wait times, the food was still good. 9/10 would recommend. Forgot to take a pic of the turkey burger

First Watch is always a fantastic experience! The food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of healthy and hearty options to choose from. Everything tastes made-to-order, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making the whole visit even better. Whether you're there for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, First Watch consistently delivers great food and great service. Highly recommend!

Ummmm, enjoyed The BEC. Bacon, egg, and cheddar sandwich was delicious! It costed $14.49. Service was good. The restaurant buzzed with lively conversations and happy people.

A group of 7 of us came here for brunch and they squeezed us in a booth. The decoration was urban farm. The menu was fun and we were excited and torn about what to order because there are so many good things to try. We ordered the green juice & fresh pressed orange juice. The waitress quickly brought our drinks then took our order. I decided to go for the frittata. Everything came quickly and all my friends thoroughly enjoyed the food. This is a popular place that didn't take reservations. Be expected to wait. But for a delicious brunch, this should be on your list!

I took my sister to First Watch this week, and we ordered a seasonal Spring Lavendar French Toast dish to share. The flavor was just right and paired nicey with the complementary coffee. The interior was vibey and our waiter was friendly. We loved the lavender cream on top, not too sweet with the perfect texture. My usual go-to dish is the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, so I definitely want to take my sister back here so that she can try it! Highly recommend this place!

4.5 Years Later: The Return Center Street Grille, Enola, PA…read moreLast time, long ago on our last visit, it was negative across the board: attitude from the hostess, long waits to order and for the food to arrive, and the BIGGEST un-crispy wings ever! We felt unwelcome and didn't enjoy our meals that night. Ok, fine, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area, no need to return. However, I may have turned my back, but I did not forget you, CSG. I remembered the good times, the trophies, awards, and accolades for your delicious sauces, and the excellent reputation that you've had all of these years. It was finally time for "The Return." Last night, a completely enjoyable meal and great service at the bar. (The dining room was very busy, and there were several seats open at the bar). It was actually our first time sitting at the bar and I believe this will now be our regular spot to eat and drink here. Got 6 Hot and 6 Creamy Garlic Parm. These wings were the perfect size for me, a little on the small to medium side, and they were cooked well. Not perfectly crispy, but close enough, and the flavor of the wings themselves were tasting fresh and delicious. I always loved their traditional hot sauce and this was my first time trying the creamy garlic Parm. The creamy texture was a little too much for me, so probably just get the regular garlic Parm next time. No issues with flavor, just a little thick and messy. (Somehow, I got that sauce on my shirt and on the back of my neck.) The Blue cheese was a great dipper for the hot sauce but I should've ordered a large cup. I also got the Cacio E Pepe Beef sandwich with fries; it was huge and awesome! I think I would order that every time I go here in the future It was so good. I'm glad that we can now place this restaurant back on our regular rotation list. See you again soon!

We ordered the oxtails and grits along with a pitcher of pineapple mimosas. The grits were honestly some of the creamiest I've ever had! The oxtails were tender, very meaty, seasoned perfectly, and came with a delicious gravy. Everything was flavorful without being overly seasoned. And yes -- the mimosas were STRONG! I also ordered the strawberry stuffed French toast and bacon to take home, and it did not disappoint. The French toast was really good and, thankfully, not overly sweet. The service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. I also really appreciated the atmosphere. The music was playing, but at a comfortable volume where you could actually enjoy it and have a conversation -- not the "why did I come here?" level of loud that some brunch spots have. The location is also a plus. It's far enough away from the busiest part of 2nd Street that parking wasn't a hassle, and they have their own parking lot, which is a definite bonus in downtown/midtown Harrisburg. Overall, this was a really enjoyable brunch experience. **Good food, strong drinks, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.** I'll definitely be back to try more from the new menu!

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. The Scale * Location & Parking: (3/5) * Staff & Engagement: (4/5) * Food Consistency: (4.7/5)

The breakfast quesadilla is incredible, and recently I started getting the breakfast burrito. Today I got the smothered breakfast burrito and it absolutely did not disappoint. Legitimately as good as any dedicated burrito spot I've been to as it should be given its a Mexican owned and ran establishment. What I love about this place is that it feels real. It's not trying to be trendy or overly polished like a First Watch or something. It has character. It feels warm, handcrafted, and genuinely cared for. The staff feels super tight-knit, and you can tell there's a lot of pride and love behind the place. I love seeing a Mexican-owned and operated diner doing their thing so well, especially one that feels this rooted in the community.
