Valley Bistro absolutely lived up to the hype, and I'd happily make the 45 minute drive again just for breakfast. When we pulled in, the parking lot was packed, so I expected a long wait. Instead, we found a spot, ordered, ate, and were back in the car in under 50 minutes. They have this place running incredibly efficiently. We ordered the Staycation Flight and an Upside Down Latte, and every drink was fantastic. My favorite was the Sandy Cheeks a brown sugar and peach chai topped with homemade brown sugar whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. The Upside Down Latte was surprisingly refreshing, and I loved that the coffee drinks actually tasted like coffee instead of just flavored milk. For breakfast, we had the Crab Hash & Eggs and The Bee Sting. The Crab Hash was amazing, especially if you love seafood for breakfast. But The Bee Sting completely stole the show. Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, folded egg, chive cream cheese, and hot honey on an everything bagel... absolute perfection. It was messy in the best way, and I wanted another one even though I was completely stuffed. Our total, including tip, was just over $50, which felt very reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with people of all ages, and despite how busy it was, everything moved quickly. The only small downside is getting into the parking lot if you're coming from the opposite direction, but that's a minor inconvenience for food this good. We'll absolutely be back. We stopped by Valley Bistro for Sunday brunch in mid-December, and it was as great as ever. The parking lot was completely full when we arrived, but after circling a few times, we lucked out and snagged a spot as someone was pulling out. Despite how busy it was, the wait for food was only about 20 minutes--which, surprisingly, is the longest I've ever waited there. Even more surprising, the food arrived noticeably before the drinks, which was a little perplexing but didn't take away from the overall experience. We ordered a kids' egg sandwich with extra chocolatey chocolate milk, which was a hit. My breakfast companion went with the classic breakfast--two dippy eggs, bacon, wheat toast, and grits--along with a mocha latte. Everything was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from a cozy brunch spot. This was also the first time I've ever sat in the dining room to eat. It wasn't a bad experience at all, especially with the festive holiday décor adding to the atmosphere--but if I'm being honest, warm-weather porch seating is definitely my favorite way to enjoy Valley Bistro. Crowded for a reason, consistently good, and always worth the visit--Valley Bistro continues to be one of my go-to brunch spots. read more

I don't know how I missed this spot until now... went for brunch and arrived just ahead of a huge rush. we stood in line to place our order at a counter. I found it a little difficult to take in the HUGE menu and make a decision while standing in line, but that's just me. So we ordered, got a table sign and went to find a table. There weren't many available. Like, maybe 2. We sat. We watched some amazing looking food go by. The food was brought out, along with our coffee flight and other beverages. I had a 2-egg breakfast combo and upgraded to the Fruity Pebble French Toast. It was a huge amount of food, likely enough for 3 people. The French toast was beautiful dish and I couldn't finish it all. Once food is dropped off (wordlessly) there is no more "service." You refill your own coffee mug and bus your table when you're done. The food is imaginative and excellent. It's not really a service style I prefer outside of theme park vacations, but the food is good enough that I'll be back. read more

I can't believe that I've never reviewed Valley bistro as it's one of my favorite places! My daughter and I went this morning for breakfast. There was a line, but it moved quickly. We love their grilled muffins and today we had the double chocolate muffin. It was moist and delicious. My daughter went with the classic Benedict to which she said her eggs were perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. We went with the side of their tater tots, which are always good! I wasn't real hungry so I went with the avocado toast with a fried egg on top. It was a little heavy with the lemon aïoli today but the chili flakes give it a nice cake and it's always fresh. Even though it was busy, the staff did a great job with making sure that the drinks came out and had a steady flow of food, leaving the kitchen. You would think it would be noisy, but it's not it really is a place you must try over and over again. The menu is creative with weekly specials. read more

We returned to Valley a bistro to dine in after far too long. I think the first time I was here was at least 5 years ago and I love how the restaurant has grown and changed, as well as how it's stayed the same. The quality of the food, and drinks, has stayed high. I had a Latte with oat milk and lavender. It was delicious. A nice tasting coffee not entirely overwhelmed. I wasn't expecting the lavender flowers on top, which was very pretty. I ordered the Salmon BLT with a side of tater tots. The serving sizes were so generous that I felt that a box would be prudent. There are boxes available near the counter where orders are taken & specialty drinks are so skillfully made. The tots were crisp with a nice crunchy exterior and soft potato inside. The sandwich was served on thick slices of Texas Toast and a sizable portion on salmon. The vegetables on the sandwich balanced the fish between spring mix of greens and avocado. The tomato, aioli & melted cheese gave the sandwich moisture. The bacon was smoky and crisp. My husband had the New Yorker and a side of home fries. He often chooses the New Yorker and had no complaints. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The floors & tables were clean and free from the detritus that sometimes accumulates after a lunch rush. The staff was friendly, active, and helpful. read more

This place has been on my friend's to-try list for a while, and it was well worth it. They served our coffees overflowing and both were absolutely delicious. I got the crab hash and, holy smokes, it was one of the best things I've ever had. You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring the food out to you. I love that Valley Bistro serves both breakfast and lunch all day!!! I took my friend out for brunch and she wanted pancakes and I desired something savory. She got the cinnamon roll pancakes and I ordered the salmon blt. I didn't try her pancakes, but I know from my last visit that they are exceptional even without extra toppings. My salmon blt was definitely a star dish. The salmon portion was large and super moist. It had a wonderful grill flavor and paired nicely with the lemon aioli. The avocado & arugula made it feel healthy and the bacon added a really nice crispy, salty note. I didn't notice until at our table that they had a side menu board where you could get drink flights. That will be something I do on my next visit. The staff was nice and the set-up is pretty good. There was plenty of seating on my visit today, although that can be a problem sometimes. read more

This place is a total gem! We were visiting from out of town for a concert in Hershey and we decided to come here for brunch. We showed up around 11am and the line to order was long but it moved quickly. Once at the counter we placed our order with ease. All 4 of us got the staycation coffee flight. They had them over to the table in just a few minutes. Followed by the food only a few minutes later. the coffee flights and the food were all AMAZING. We had the scrambler, the fruity pebbles French toast, the California Benedict, and the salted caramel banana pancake. Everything was so fresh and so delicious! I love it when I can check out a restaurant/experience that I see on TikTok/FB! Some Sista-Friends and I hit 81 North to check out Valley Bistro to do Brunch and let me tell you it was worth the Hr drive! It was very busy but the flow was good and the food was delicious! If you go, don't let the line scare you because it does go pretty fast, you order at register and then you go get a table and they bring the food out to you. Drinks are self serve and don't forget to check out their awesome selection of muffins, stuffed muffins, cakes, pies, etc., but I'd recommend taking that with you to go or you can enjoy it there with there coffee selection and different coffee flights and drinks, etc. I enjoyed the New Yorker, which is a pastrami breakfast sandwich and I also got the salmon BLT , I tasted a little bit of that and it was really nice with the lemon aïoli, but I mainly brought that to have at home . My sister Friends One got the chicken and waffles, one got the New Yorker too, and they got a shrimp and grits to share they felt that their food was very delicious and they would definitely go back to try other menu items. I did get me a lemon poppy mascarpone stuffed muffin to go and a hot honey peach cheesecake which I have never heard of before to go so I'm looking forward to trying them this weekend. This place was banging... at one point literally! Full house on Independence Day, July 4, glad they were open because friends recommended Valley Bistro to us. Everyone enjoyed their meals, from my crab hash (delicious but could have used considerably more Old Bay; I'm a Murlynder) and blackberry cobbler iced latte, to hubs' BELT (BLT with egg) to our friends' cinnamon muffin and gyro. Then partway thru our meal there was a tremendous crash from the kitchen and even the kitchen doors shuddered -- we guessed, sight unseen, that someone dropped a full tray of plates meals. A woman dashed over from the register side and eased herself in thru the door which would barely open; she shortly emerged, went to her car, and returned with a DeWalt drill and full toolbox. This is the kind of preparedness you want on your team. I know there was considerable picking up happening behind those doors because eventually she emerged, laughing, helping several other staffers carry out a full size metal table that we suspect had been fully laden with all the silverware and similar supplies of back of house until it couldn't support any more. After a hospital visit we decided because we had never been there to go for a mid-morning breakfast at this establishment. The scramble eggs were way over cooked even though I requested wet scrambled. I asked for crisp bacon and received a limp piece of I do not know what. The potatoes were okay. We both had specialty coffees. My wife's was cold and mine was okay. Typically, with breakfast the one assumes you would get two pieces of toast, guess one more time. They do not wait on tables, but they will bring your food to you after you order it in another room. You have to pick out your own silver ware, napkins, get your own water etcetera. All this for the highest price I've paid for a breakfast in a very long time. Congratulations, you are on a time out for us. read more

The large menu has many good choices. And don't be scared. All are good. Sometimes large menu equals mediocre food. Then there is a separate coffee counter. Some coffees are listed but they make more. We ordered two coffee drinks, Fruity Pebble French Toast, a kids meal with sausage links, and a Chorizo Omelette. All were good, came out hot, and did not take a long time. There was no line when we got there. But when we left it was lit the door. That's the only thing I'd be worried about. For starters, the omelette I had was pretty good and the home fries were crispy. You do order up front, pay, and they request a tip at this time. As a customer, you must get your own beverage and silverware. I'm assuming you also must clear your table too. Though no one told me that, and I was the first one to leave that morning, so I didn't. Because I left a good tip. When the server did bring me my food, she noticed I didn't have any silverware and instead of getting me some, she told me where it was. Is this how restaurants operate now? Did my tip go to the chef? They did the best work! Anyway...food was great except for the unappetizing gross looking gooey yellow/orange looks nothing like butter substance they pre slathered the sourdough toast in. And since there is really no table attendant I didn't feel like walking across the huge seating area to tell them I want none of that mess on my toast. And I'd rather write about it in Yelp. Bread was not listed in the description of Giovanni's this and that. Additionally, if I'm asking for gf pancakes - I probably don't want real bread on top of my eggs and home fries.
