How hard can it be to fulfill an online order? For the Panera's in Jackson, it is apparently as elusive as the holy grail....two out of two times no less. The first time was an online order placed at 7:30 in the morning for six everything bagels to be picked up at five pm. By my math, that is nine and one half hours to make six bagels. In other words, that is over an hour of available time PER FREAKING BAGEL. Mission failed. At five pm, after severe confusion by the frontline staff leading to the calling of a manager, I was informed that there were no bagels and that the order was not filled. This evening, my girlfriend placed another order (973271 was the cafe order in case Panera's thinks I could make their stupidity up!). It was a complicated order...two soups, a baguette, a grain roll, and a soda. Now to give them credit, they DID manage to fill four out of five items on this complicated extensive list..a monumental improvement over their bagel attempt....but whoever filled the order (as well as S.R. who theoretically checked it and initialed it as "order checked by") needs to revisit the concept of order completion (that means all FIVE ordered items). Steer clear of this poorly operated Panera's location, particularly their convenient online ordering system which now stands at a four out of eleven completion rate. read more

So disappointed that Panera has gone from being inviting for those looking to do a working lunch to promoting you to get in and get out. I saw like 2 seats with power cord access and went out of my way to dine here in between meetings to get some work done. With a dead laptop and no plug, it mad my brief break unproductive. Italian combo??? Nothing to rave about but a nice change from the norm that I get there. We ended up getting our order to go. Before even walking out of the store, the bottom of the bag started to show signs that something was not packed right. While on the road I tried to pull out the first sandwich and I found out what wasn't packed right as my sandwich falls out of the terrible wrap job and falls all over everything else in the bag. I love Panera for exactly what it is. Soups, salads, sandwiches and decent latte drinks. A place to study, or spend sometime online. It's a bit expensive if you're going in with a family, and at that point it's almost more worthwhile to go to a full service restaurant- however I can appreciate the healthier Seeking approach to "fast food." read more

So, I have ordered 2 chicken salads from this place in the past week. One to go and one to dine in. Both were made WRONG..no chicken. How is this possible? I brought it to the attention of the hostess...who has quite the attitude. She had them remake my salad with NO apology the second time around. It says on the receipt...chicken. Love this Panera because there is always sooooo much seating. It is a large location. The parking lot is laid out a bit odd though, and I really really have to dock a star for the fact that I can NEVER get the wifi to work in this particular location, not sure why. read more

Consistantly good food always a top choice for eating any meal in spite of being some distance from work. The variety and seasonal specials keep the menu fresh. The restaurant is clean and the employees are polite and genuinely interested in serving the customer. Even without a drive thru the service is typically fast so it is an easy choice even for carryout during your lunch hour. read more

On the morning of June 16, 2018, we were headed out of town and got breakfast to go at the Panera Bread in Jackson, Mi. We got our order and got back on the road. The order turned out to not be correct. The sandwich with no cheese has cheese on it and the sandwich with cheese was cold with a yucky cold unmelted piece of cheese on it. We were back on the highway and could not go back so I called the store and talked to the manager. She was very defensive especially when I told her that part of the problem was that the 3 staff in the food prep area were busily chatting about something unrelated to their jobs. She told me that there was only one food prep person on the line and I repeated that there were 3 people back there. We had paid cash and I refused to give her my credit card number for a refund as I was quite uncomfortable with her attitude. She offered to send me coupons and I gave her our address. 17 days have passed and we have received nothing. In addition, I posted a comment on the Panera site and have also not received a response. We will not be stopping at that Panera again even though it is on our route to the highway. read more

I was pretty interested in the complex futuristic look of the establishment but when I requested service the woman "Sophia" was very obnoxious and not welcoming I didn't receive a number for my table so I could have my food accounted for in this act my food arrival came 5 minutes slower than a reasonable awaited time and this displeased me. I recommend that you look into the people that work the front counters and the relations they create with the customers. The food was good though oh and btw fuck Sophia!!! read more

I went to purchase bagels at 8:00am, the store had 5 left!!!! They had sold over 7 dozen to a fitness center. Orders that large should be pre-ordered so the regular customers could have a chance to buy a bagel. The manager should take better control.
