This is the southwest chicken salad
    Steve J.

Southwest salad pretty plain for $13.95 salad. It was like a little Caesar salad with a little bit of chicken. Definitely not worth it will not go back.

    Hair in my latte, lol

Soup was good though. It won't let me post a short review, lol, so let's pretend I'm blabbering.

Camera wasn't fast enough to capture the delicious soup.

Always great food! And the employees are accommodating. The floor could have been cleaner anger though.

Yep good old Panera. Sadly I only eat one thing... Mediteranean Veggie and they seem to do it well every time.

Oh my gosh- somebody put soup in my salt. Disgusting! No way can I eat this stuff when there is even just a trace of soup in my salt.

The sandwich wasn't over powered with a sauce coverup. They let the ingredients of the sandwich do the work. The sourdough bread was good. The turkey was really good. The bacon had maybe a brown sugar on it. Almost tasted like million dollar bacon if you have ever had that at other places. And just a hint of something that made me eager for the next bite. Was it a little pricey. Maybe if you have never left grass lake. But on par for this type of thing. The menu was a bit hard to follow. Again first time there. I didn't see a half sandwich option. Which would have been plenty for lunch. But bad for my taste buds. Or that they had soup or what the soup was. I think half my time was spent trying to decipher what all they had and what I wanted. I see some ppl complain about the wait. It was a little long. But what was expected when they are making it right in front of you. And toasting it in the moment. I personally spoke to the general manager who seemed to be on top of things. It was my first visit. I didn't try the coffee and the ice cream. But it looks visually great. I often travel the country looking for a place exactly like this When I'm on the road. Small, non chain, warm, inviting coffee breakfast and lunch spot. I'm delighted to have one so close to home. It was a little loud I could see if it got crowded being really loud. I hope this place catches on and becomes a staple. I know I will b recommending ppl go there and I know I'll b back.

We arrived just before the busy dinner time on a Saturday night. Greeted and seated quickly. There was some obvious issues on who should be our waitress as several walked by but. One took our order. After 15 minutes and the tables that were sat after us had gotten drinks and their orders taken I flagged down a waitress to see if we should just go elsewhere. She went to go find out who our waiter would be and she came up empty handed. It was decided she would be our waitress. She was semi attentive as getting drink refills... well we didn't get them. We had the appetizer sampler. The boneless wings were great. The Buffalo chicken dip was good. The beer cheese that came with the pretzels was interesting. The Hawaiian chicken sandwich was good and the buffalo mac n cheese lacked a bit of cheese more like butter noodles and buffalo with shredded cheese on the top. However it was plenty of a helping. The food to price ratio was solid. Looking at previous reviews I'm hoping that my experience was a one off.
