I called the location and talked with the manager and he was very apologetic and offered for us to come to the store, when I explained why we couldn't come to store he apologized again and gave us a refund. Well, let's just say it's a good thing I wasn't on my lunch hour and having to rush back to work. The service was incredibly slow. And this was at 2 PM on a Tuesday so not lunch hour or rush-hour. And the guy at the cash register was not especially friendly or helpful. Pretty disappointing. To be honest, we joined for the sip club, but came in to get lunch and I don't know that we'll do that again. Maybe just stick with the free drinks. It ended up being $15 with half a sandwich, a cup of soup and an apple. It was OK but definitely not worth it $15. Hear me out on this. It's almost like not only is your customer service extremely poor, and your food quality extremely poor. But it's so poor that Panera in Keizer has made sure, that no matter how you go about complaining. About $30 worth of food you purchased. They will make sure to treat all complaints as if you were out of line. And you are in the wrong. Don't worry everyone you too can experience this. Just stop on by Panera in Keizer. And make sure if your soup is from the day before so watered down you question it. That not only will the manager tell you "For your reference, it's not watered down, it's from the day before" only AFTER you hear what she tells the other employee and call her out on it. But when you tell them you want a refund and ask when will the money be back on my card. She says it should be on there now, and you say it isn't. She says "that's not my problem" and walks away. No apologies not one ounce of respect. You wasted my money and my time. Then when you ask the employee what the name of that manager is. The employee tells you she can't give that information out. Because why would the manager wear a nametag. And when you the customer has absolutely had enough. And decided to say that they are awful people. Faith tells you she will pray for you. You KNOW a place has the worst customer service imaginable when the manager does NOT wear a name tag and the employee CANNOT give you her name. Nice place and nice people. I didn't use the bathroom but it appeared clean. Absurdly overpriced. A 5 oz half sandwich for over $8. The soup was good, but again, absurdly overpriced. I could commiserate that the destruction of fast food is because of the rise in the minimum wage, but for $7.50 I can buy a double burger at Five Guys or Nancy's both with three times the lettuce, onions, and tomatoes--not to mention protein. For another buck I can get a Garg which is the king of all sandwiches. Still, it's a great environment for meeting and having conversations, so that might be what is included in the price. Placed an order online for a sandwich and a salad. Order wasn't ready 20 minutes after I ordered online and it said 10. Got home and the salad was wrong. Drive back to the store to have the salad fixed to only be told they are out of one of the items for the salad. Notice that workers in the back are wearing AirPods while the manager is back there, so that could explain why there's order issues. Get back home, unwrap the sandwich and there's plastic inside the sandwich. I call to talk to a manager and am told that the manager is busy, refused to give me the managers full name, all she told me was Stephanie, and the name of the person I was talking to. Indoor dinning was closed; one could only call or order on line or drive . Sign on door reported the were closing at 5 this day 10/31. I ordered sandwich without tomato yet it had tomato on it, so side pickle. The staff who brought the food out said how much they didn't cate when I apologized for leaving my mask on the outdoor table , going into how she was raised and care less about masks .... And on . I used to love the Panera that I live next to in Poway, CA. I would go to them 2 to 3 times a week. They remembered my face they got my order right and that was the only Panera and the last five or six years that ever took an accurate order. That was 5+ years ago, before the oabdemic. 14 months ago I moved to the Pacific Northwest, and I've been to this Panera twice since moving. The first time was last year and there was something wrong with the order so I knew better to not to use the drivethru. I planned to walk in and double check the order before I would leave. I don't have a complicated order. It was bacon, egg, and cheese and asiago bread. I ordered a drip coffee. I went over to the pick up desk waiting for my order. There is a screen that had my name up and I sat. I noticed that there were several orders that were popping ahead of mine and being fulfilled. I assumed that those orders were for the drive-through. The entire place wasn't busy. There was a large table with old men. I assume we're on Bible study. Their food had been eaten and their coffee was mostly drank. There was another person at a table whose food had been eaten. There was no other people present, so they might've all been to go orders. I don't know. I spent 20 minutes waiting and realized I was gambling with being late for work. At the point where 25 minutes went by my order still has not been called out and there were two other people waiting for their order. I listened to the conversation with all the people that were working. The manager was helping making orders and one of the newer people was talking about how an order was wrong and she just fixed it and her quotation was "I wasn't going to argue with them" like she deserved an attaboy for doing a basic part of her job. From my personal experience every panera I have been to in the last 5 years the orders were wrong,my friends also have this problem. I thought it was a weird flex. By 30 minutes and I decided it was time to get a refund because I was certainly going to be late for work. I went to the front desk and I said I would like to cancel my order and receive a refund. The woman at the cashiers desk yelled to cancel the order. The manager looked at me and said it could be ready in a few minutes. I declined, 1) I have all ready been waiting over a half an hour for fast food, 2) the order she yelled was the wrong order anyways. The manager threw the cashier the keys and told her to issue a refund. The cashier apologetically said she was new and didn't know how to do this. She was in a very loud back-and-forth with instructions on how to issue the refund. She was getting more flustered. This was taking more time and I was going to be even more late from work. A team leader, the person that initially rang my order, came over to help while the other woman that was getting more anxious. I spent $12 on fast food. They gave me 6 1/2 dollars back so 4 1/2 to five dollars was used on drip coffee. I don't think the coffee is good enough to charge that that much. It's not a Starbucks specialty drink. Panera is fast food. This is neither fast and it's expensive. I think this will be my last trip to Panera. read more

I ordered via drive-thru ( 2 cinnamon crunch bagels, toasted, with cream cheese) and was not given my total, simply a verification of my order. When I got to the window to pay I was surprised that my total was a tad bit more than I expected ($6.78). This strange price aside, I was told that they only had one left, even after I asked when I ordered if there were any left and ordered 2. They proceeded to take 10+ minutes burning my bagels and leaving weird napkin residue stuck to the bottom. And I'm terms of the cost, the 1.75oz of cream cheese, priced at $1.80 is more than the bagel, $1.59, itself...which is very confusing. Starbucks sells the same amount for 75 cents, but now I know not to order a single serving of cream cheese, but rather an entirely other bagel, because it's practically the same price. All in all, I recommend not wasting your money on their cream cheese, as you can get an entire 8oz container of Philadelphia cream cheese for about the same price. The time I wasted in line, not only for my own order, but for the 3+ cars awaiting behind me, alongside the burnt bagels, overpriced cream cheese, and about 20 minutes of wait time total-- well, I'm unsatisfied to say the least. read more

I placed an order and it took a while. Felt like twenty minutes but probably closer to fifteen. Which is still a long time considering three weren't many people in the restaurant or the drive through at the time. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on brioche with the egg over hard. This is the worst pa era I have ever been to. They do. It heat the food up all the way always get cold chicken when I order a hot sandwich. The other day I was in here was waited 15min for food at the drive thru window then upon receiving my food I ordered a whole baguette and it was ripped into pieces and thrown in the bag along with the utensils, napkins and food. I immediately called in and spoke to the manager I believe her name was something Rae she hung up as I was talk to her, your typical white trash and was treated very badly probably because I'm not white , I was then told this is how they do it, mind you at every other Panera I go to they package my baguette separately. Well let's start off with 4 staff members at one register (arguing at each other). A line out the door. Three cooks. Not once did the waite staff speak with any customer to explain why things were running so slow (a quick explanation goes a long way). Out of the 3 tablets to order only 1 worked. It still took 25 minutes to get called to the server window. Now on to the actual order. 2 items were missing. When I went up to the window to explain this. She wouldn't even look at me. When I finally got the attention of the cook staff. I explain that we didn't get a few items (bread and soup). She grabbed a baget and ripped a peice off and tossed it onto the counter as she walked away. As I recall the servers used to bring the food to your table. Today I was in the drive thru for a long time for only a half sandwich and a half salad. My salad was good but my sandwich definitely was not. First time trying Panera Bread and we decided to use the drive thru. Ordering was easy, disappointed that they ran out of bread for their flatbreads so we didn't get to try that. There were about 3 cars in front of us and they seemed to have received their food pretty quickly, we must've waited at least 10 minutes! I can't remember everything we ordered but it was decent just not a lot of filling (according to my husband, the other few locations he has gone to it was much better than this one). One sandwich that I do want to mention is the grilled cheese sandwich which my 9 ye old daughter ordered. She took one bite and says "mommy, there's paper in here", so I told her to open her sandwich up and take it out (thinking it was a small piece)...well it was an entire piece of paper! I am currently sitting in the corner of this restaurant at a table that doesn't normally get used that we grabbed chairs and pulled up to it because every single open table in this restaurant is filthy...and no it's not even close to busy in here not even 40% capacity. Charging people for large drinks and then telling us afterwards they don't have large cups so just take "like 4 medium cups." How bout you give me my fucking money back for the large drink and give one medium? Who the hell wants to carry around 4 medium cups with them? Like might be the lowest IQ staff I have ever seen working in one place. And we are still waiting for our food after 20 minutes and nobody has wiped off the disgusting tables.
