Dear Panera Guest Care, I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable treatment my family received at your Panera Bread location near Orlando International Airport this morning. After a long international flight, my family of **nine** members visited your restaurant for breakfast, expecting a welcoming atmosphere and the quality of service that Panera Bread is known for. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. We ordered egg and cheese with sourdough bread on a whole bun, but the sandwich contained only **two tiny bread slices with egg**, which were clearly insufficient even for a single serving. We politely approached the female manager and requested that the order be corrected or replaced. Instead of listening to our concern or trying to resolve the issue, the manager responded in a rude, dismissive, and confrontational manner. She refused to replace the order and ultimately **refused to serve our entire family**. Her attitude was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for someone in a management position. As international visitors, this was a very upsetting first experience after arriving in Orlando. We came to your restaurant expecting hospitality, but instead we were left feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. A manager should be trained enough to know how to handle customer concerns with respect and professionalism. Instead, this manager chose confrontation over customer service, leaving our family with a very negative impression of Panera Bread. I request that Panera Bread conduct a thorough investigation into this incident, review any available CCTV footage, and take appropriate action. We frequently visit Panera, almost an embarrassing amount, but the food is so consistently delicious, and their sip club is too good to pass up! This was our first visit to this location, and it was a great experience. Our order taker was friendly and helpful, and despite the busy time, our meals were prepared promptly and accurately. I ordered my usual green goddess salad and my friend ordered their autumn squash soup with 1/2 of the same salad. The soup is amazing, it's unfortunate it's a limited time item so it will be gone soon, but it gives something more than pumpkin to look forward to next fall! The salad is reliably delicious, and keeps me coming back again & again! This location was comfortable and clean, including the drink stations and restroom. Things have changed now and I was close to this one around dinner time. I stopped in and placed an order through the drive-through. The weight wasn't too long and I paid and got my food. I ordered a chicken Toasted Italiano and customized it to my liking. I ended up ordering the whole sandwich and got chips and a drink with it. I forgot how big the sandwiches can be. I ate half the sandwich and drank my Sprite, and save the other half and chips for lunch the next day. I really enjoyed the sandwich Both fresh and reheated. I'm not exactly sure what happened here, but I ordered three sandwiches. The chicken bacon avocado had absolutely no chicken on it. Just some bacon, bits and avocado. The chicken avocado chipotle had no chipotle, and the chicken was on one section of the bread with the avocado on the other, not layered. The Philly steak barely had meat. I feel like they were runningout of meat. I ordered this through the drive-through so unfortunately I didn't see any of it until I got home which was too late to drive back over there to return everything. I spent over $50 for three sandwiches and two drinks which worth five dollars.. I normally love Panera, but this was a very bad experience. Love Panera and have been coming here for years! Usually come in on Sunday's for a breakfast here and there and tend to try out all the new sandwiches and meals they have. They are more on the expensive side for the actual meals and drinks you get, but overall love it. Today I ordered a Avocado, Egg White & Spinach on Sprouted Grain Bagel Flat and a lemonade. This was considered chefs choice and then I ordered a rose cookie since I love my sweets. Came up to about $14 , but I enjoyed it and definitely love the quiet and relaxing vibes. Panera is one of our regular breakfast and lunch spots. We like the convenience of a fast meal that's not fast food. Of course the food is fresh and good, there are lots of healthy, vegetarian options. Their fresh baked bread and butter is amazing. Lately though it seems the prices are higher and the portions are smaller. This is probably the best service I've had at any chain restaurant. Eileen and the rest of the staff were the sweetest. In the few minutes we were there, they were so attentive to anything we needed. I am not sure what is going on with them. I live in Orlando and I work in Kissimmee. I take the turnpike to get to work in the morning. I go by the Panera Bread and stop in about 3 to 4 times a week. I joined their sip club and not a fan of their lemonade. I do like the apple or the strawberry drink. Once a week or maybe 2 times a week I get 2 of their asiago bagel. On this Monday I got the 2 bagels and they were so over cooked that they were a dark brown in color. I did call and spoke to a manager to let them know and maybe take a look to make sure there are not more over cooked ones given out. All she said to me do I want a refund? I was at work and not like I could drive back. I don't like when something goes wrong and they ask you if you want a refund. I would think if I took the time to cell them that she would say the next time your in we will give you 2 free bagels. I thought "how cheap!!" When we got to family house I saw they made tuna on wrong bread. I specifically asked for tomato basil. Not a huge deal, but manager turned me off with the bread. I love Panera, and even though I didn't have the best experience at this location tonight, my love for Panera hasn't changed. We parked and walked up to the door which we then realized was locked. We then noticed the sign in the door that said the dining room is closed but drive thru is open. While we were pretty upset about this, with Covid, we totally understood. We went back to the car and got in the drive thru line. We had our two kids with us that were going to eat mac and cheese that is not really car friendly so we planned to eat at the outdoor tables they had out front. We were in line for about 20 minutes before it was our turn to order. Again we were annoyed, but it's Panera and not as fast as typical fast food and we get that. So we order. I got a grilled cheese with tomato soup, husband got a Caesar salad, and the kids got mac n cheese and a grilled cheese to split. After paying, we waited another 7ish minutes until we were handed our food. We were on a short road trip and pretty hangry at this point so my husband wanted to make sure there were spoons and forks in the bag. The attendant said that there were. Ok, great. We sit down. I give everyone their food.... No utensils. Husband tries knocking on the door. They ignored him. We consider having him go through the drive thru line again and quickly realize our food would be cold bu the time he got back. I then decide to call the actual store. It rang for forever. Finally someone answered. I explain our situation and the missing utensils and ask if someone can walk them out to us since the door was locked. The person on the phone gave me a reluctant "ummm alright?" and showed up at the door a few minutes later. With copious amounts of utensils. Yay. All our frustration subsided, we ate our food, and it was all great and tasty. Then came cleanup time. I cleaned iff the table and put everything back in the bag it came in. I then realize there is no trash can. Then, I notice two other bags perched on two other tables realizing others had the same issue. We decided to take the bags to a nearby gas station to throw out but come on! Just one of these things alone would not have made for a less than great experience, but combined it made for a frustrating (but yummy) mess. I am just grateful they got the food right! read more

It is great to have a new lunch option in the area. I Love their soup n sandwich combo options. The restaurant is new, the restrooms are clean, and the outdoor seating area is a nice option for a quick evening snack. The service is friendly and fast and the artisan breads and pastries are good. They offer free WIFI, however it will not reach to the outdoor seating area...which seams crazy, so it you need to use their WIFI you will have to stay inside of the restaurant.
