No fire at this Cracker Barrel. Pulling into the parking lot I thought they might be closed. 5:30 pm and just a few tables. Even fewer servers which leads to spotty service. The restaurant started filling up and with one server for 10+ tables you spend a lot of time waiting for the server's attention. Half way into my service another server joined to help but in the meantime what should have been minutes took a long time for everything. It is one of the coldest night in Central Florida this winter season. I asked why they didn't have the fireplace going and she said it has to be a certain temperature. I guess low 40 degrees is not cold enough. Anticipation of a seat by the crackling fire and warm dumplings was the main reason I stopped. I used to eat her regularly but haven't in a few years. Scrolling through my older Yelp photos for this location, I have memories where the restaurant used to have the fireplace going a lot in the winter months. The food was large portions. I got the chicken and dumplings with fried okra, hash brown casserole and fried apples. The portion for the dumplings was large but mostly it was noodles and very little chicken meat. The fried okra was cold but fried apples are one of my favorites. I am fairly certain they just heat those up so kind of hard to mess that up. My priority is good food and service and in this case I wanted to sit by the fireplace for ambiance. My table was in the main room near the cold fireplace. Chicken and Dumplings at Cracker Barrel has been my go to menu favorite. My disappointment in this experience will likely lead to it being a long time before I return.

Me and my fiancé wanted brunch and came to Cracker Barrel. I ordered the Strawberry-Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes with sausage, eggs scrambled with American cheese and a Hamburger Steak cooked medium. The Strawberry-Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes were amazing. I don't think I even talked after tasting them. The service was nice and good. Our server made sure we had everything we needed. I hope the Strawberry-Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes stay on the menu.

Always great food here I love the decor as well as a nice fireplace and all of the old-fashioned candy and merchandise in the gift shop although service here isn't always the fastest. The food is always consistent and delicious. I always love trying new food at this location and can't wait to come back again. I have the rewards program and I love it I wish I could eat here every week. The food is that good.

We love coming to this location on Sundays after church. Service is always amazing and quick and we just love all their menu options. My favorite is their steak and eggs. The steak is always cooked to perfection and their biscuits are fluffy, warm, and a perfect way to start your meal. They always have seasonal items too. My kids love their pancakes and their warm syrup. It's busy here but that never stops us from going. We also love stopping by the shop on the way out. We always find fun and unique items!

Cracker Barrel is a must visit spot for every one of our FL trips. This particular location was no different than the ones we have visited before in the sunshine state. Everything is located just where you'd think it is. Gotta love that about this chain :) Laid back ambiance. Our server was the sweetest and most helpful of ladies. Everything we ordered was pretty consistent, taste and presentation, with the other locations we have been to.

We went to this location, not to eat, but to pick up an item that was typically sold out online due to high demand. We luckily found one in the store. We found the Gift Shop area very well stocked, clean, organized, and pretty decent prices. The store was stocked with a lot of nostalgic American items, FL college related items/clothing, quilts, old style candies, Halloween items, dresses, sweatshirts, games from yesterday, sandals, candles, Lodge cast iron, soda (you can't find), home decor, and nostalgic everything. The associate who was helping us with questions we had was really nice. Next time we'll visit the restaurant section. A++

We love cracker barrel, but this time the meatloaf had a lot of fatty parts that didn't melt. We enjoyed the brisket though!

I'd never been to a Cracker Barrel before and really had a good time visiting this location. I came solo for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it is obviously a popular spot but I was still seated immediately. They really go all out on the vintage country decor and rustic vibe. My waitress, Ally, was very sweet and provided exceptional customer service throughout my visit. I ordered Mamas French Toast which came with a side of eggs and a choice of protein (I picked scrambled and bacon). I also requested an iced vanilla latte. The six half-slices of french toast were done perfectly. I enjoyed the miniature bottle of maple syrup they give you to pour over the french toast. Both the eggs and slightly chewy bacon were tasty. The portion size reflected the serving you'd get at a farm in the 1950s. The latte was surprisingly excellent. A bit on the sweet side which guaranteed I'd love it. I was stunned when I got the bill as it was unbelievably reasonable. You pay at the front counter which is located at the entrance. The entry area is also a country store where you can purchase all sorts of fun knick knacks, candies, and country-style home decor. I bought a cool book about horses as a gift for a horse-crazy friend. Apparently the marketing strategy of having a store between the restaurant and the exit worked on me.

We stopped for dinner after a day at Hollywood Studios. Food was pretty good. My chicken & dumplings had some cold spots. I have this issue at our NJ location too, so it might be a general issue with the chain.

They were busy (fair) but overly expensive for what you are given especially when charging $1 per syrup or milk. This I could dismiss as the usual Orlando area issues but upon ordering the Avocado Toast at the register, the cashier asked how we would like our eggs and what meat we wanted. Both my partner and I were confused as I hadn't needed either and asked if they came with it. She said yes. I am a vegetarian so we asked for bacon on the side to put with my partners meal and over easy eggs. Little did we know both of these things were upcharges! I would have definitely gone without if I knew. When the food came out the bacon was shredded and placed all over the toast (which when we complained they said this is how it is always prepared). I am very grateful that they remade it so I could eat and the food was fine but overall a negative, predatory experience that could have been solved with better communication from the employees.

It was perfectly creamy, not too sweet, full of spice, and had a great kick from the espresso. I went here three days in a row just for that chai. 10/10 recommend. Recommendation: 20 oz chai with 3 shots of espresso SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! AMBIANCE Ample seating is available inside the store. It's a great place to catch up with friends, grab an AM coffee after the gym, or work/study. PARKING The plaza lot offers ample parking.

Let's focus on the positives first: the atmosphere is incredibly fun and the live music Saturday night was a perfect touch at the bar. There were plenty of fun activities for the kids and there was an all-you-can-eat buffet for the kids with fried chicken and shrimp, macaroni and cheese, fries, and red velvet cupcakes. $25 is a deal if your child would chow down on shrimp, but it might not be a great deal if your child is usually full after four bites. Our server was absolutely fantastic, friendly and very attentive. We started off the dinner with some fantastic deviled eggs and a lemon cello cocktail. I ordered the shrimp and grits and was really disappointed with the tiny, overcooked shrimp and crawfish that accompanied the slightly bland grits. The shrimp on the kids buffet was at least four times larger than the sad little shrimp in my dish. I think the sausage was cut into smaller chunks just so it wouldn't be so obvious how small the shrimp was. My husband didn't love his heirloom tomato salad and said the Wagyu appetizer was disgusting. Dessert was mediocre. The macarons that accompanied my crème brûlée were stale and chewy. This is a fun spot for a drink and appetizer, but I would skip eating dinner at Highball & Harvest.
