No wait time which was wonderful. Once seated Dewayne, our server was very attentive and provided great service. I ordered the strawberry French toast bake with bacon and a side of hashbrown casserole and HOLY WOW!!! This was like a warm bread pudding topped with powdered sugar and fresh strawberries ! Absolutely delicious and it's served with warm strawberry syrup which had me in a choke hold it was so good. We both enjoyed these seasonal menu items so much we barely spoke lol! When you wake up on a Saturday morning and craving a great breakfast the choice usually swings to cracker barrel. Unfortunately today's visit was Miserable..not due to the food but the service. We were seated promptly as we walked in as we were only a party of 2. Once we were seated we sat for over 15 minutes waiting to be served. We had to flag another server from a different section to find the person in charge of our area. After another 5 minutes our server came to us completely clueless. He took our order but never asked what sides or anything. He ran off only to come back to ask the necessary questions. We noticed on this day alot of servers had zero pep and a lot of them were just standing around while theit customers waited for their food. Once the food came we were happy with the meal but once again we never saw our server once the food was placed on the table. We waited over a half hour again and had to find a manager to get our check, the server never came back to even say sorry. This was probably the worst experience we have had in the 10yrs of coming to this location. It has been at least 2 or 3 years, maybe even longer since we've eaten at Cracker Barrel. When they stopped making the Egg Sandwich on sourdough bread we had stopped going for breakfast. I'm not sure when they brought it back, but it was as good as I remember. My husband ordered the Sunshine Pancake breakfast was perfect portioned and priced. We arrived at a good time when it wasn't too busy and they were able to seat us right away. Service all around was excellent from the hostess and our server, to the retail clerk and cashier. The restaurant was clean and nicely lit inside, not too bright or dark. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'm not sure when we'll be back, perhaps when I crave another egg sandwich :) read more

No fire at this Cracker Barrel. Pulling into the parking lot I thought they might be closed. 5:30 pm and just a few tables. Even fewer servers which leads to spotty service. The restaurant started filling up and with one server for 10+ tables you spend a lot of time waiting for the server's attention. Half way into my service another server joined to help but in the meantime what should have been minutes took a long time for everything. It is one of the coldest night in Central Florida this winter season. I asked why they didn't have the fireplace going and she said it has to be a certain temperature. I guess low 40 degrees is not cold enough. Anticipation of a seat by the crackling fire and warm dumplings was the main reason I stopped. I used to eat her regularly but haven't in a few years. Scrolling through my older Yelp photos for this location, I have memories where the restaurant used to have the fireplace going a lot in the winter months. The food was large portions. I got the chicken and dumplings with fried okra, hash brown casserole and fried apples. The portion for the dumplings was large but mostly it was noodles and very little chicken meat. The fried okra was cold but fried apples are one of my favorites. I am fairly certain they just heat those up so kind of hard to mess that up. My priority is good food and service and in this case I wanted to sit by the fireplace for ambiance. My table was in the main room near the cold fireplace. Chicken and Dumplings at Cracker Barrel has been my go to menu favorite. My disappointment in this experience will likely lead to it being a long time before I return. read more

We had a horrible experience, service and food. I didn't even take a photo because once we were finally served the food was bland. The wait my family and I were used too it was 46 minutes but once situated our server took 30 mins to get our drinks order. After that we waited another 25 mins for me to ask random servers to get us our waiter and drinks. I asked if biscuits were still being provided because we saw every table with one but us. It was 2 hours in total we still didn't get anything and I had to get the manager. He rushed our meal but to be even more disappointed with the taste. 2/10 recommendation. read more

We love coming to this location on Sundays after church. Service is always amazing and quick and we just love all their menu options. My favorite is their steak and eggs. The steak is always cooked to perfection and their biscuits are fluffy, warm, and a perfect way to start your meal. They always have seasonal items too. We went to this location, not to eat, but to pick up an item that was typically sold out online due to high demand. We luckily found one in the store. We found the Gift Shop area very well stocked, clean, organized, and pretty decent prices. The store was stocked with a lot of nostalgic American items, FL college related items/clothing, quilts, old style candies, Halloween items, dresses, sweatshirts, games from yesterday, sandals, candles, Lodge cast iron, soda (you can't find), home decor, and nostalgic everything. I'd never been to a Cracker Barrel before and really had a good time visiting this location. I came solo for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it is obviously a popular spot but I was still seated immediately. They really go all out on the vintage country decor and rustic vibe. My waitress, Ally, was very sweet and provided exceptional customer service throughout my visit. I ordered Mamas French Toast which came with a side of eggs and a choice of protein (I picked scrambled and bacon). I also requested an iced vanilla latte. The six half-slices of french toast were done perfectly. I enjoyed the miniature bottle of maple syrup they give you to pour over the french toast. Both the eggs and slightly chewy bacon were tasty. The portion size reflected the serving you'd get at a farm in the 1950s. The latte was surprisingly excellent. A bit on the sweet side which guaranteed I'd love it. I was stunned when I got the bill as it was unbelievably reasonable. You pay at the front counter which is located at the entrance. The entry area is also a country store where you can purchase all sorts of fun knick knacks, candies, and country-style home decor. I bought a cool book about horses as a gift for a horse-crazy friend. Apparently the marketing strategy of having a store between the restaurant and the exit worked on me. read more

Shrimp were hard as a rock (Like they were cooked twice a previous order and recooked too heat up ). Server had to go and get two items that were missing. This Cracker Barrel was fantastic with everything! From being seated quickly, taking our order right away, serving our food so fast, and for having a fully stocked store. Couldn't have asked for more. Our waitress was kind and attentive too. The only downside to this location, which has nothing to do with their service, would be the update to their decor inside their dining room. As most negative reviews start out let the time old tale of "if zero stars was accepted" yada yada. What can be said of this Cracker Barrel location in particular? Well let's see, it is out right the poorest excuse for an establishment. Let the public be aware as they have just failed their internal NSF health code inspection. As have many in Orlando's district. Cleanliness is to the eye what their level of skill in service and teamwork holds underneath. If you have dined at this location and at the point of checkout voiced your concerns or disgruntlements to the cashier and received a dismissive tone and response of "this will be your total" do not fret for the team that just served you receive the same lack of care and attention from their upper management. That is of course unless it's in regard to push sales and convince you whichever way to purchase their cold thinely sliced and slapped on portioned take home meals for $6 added to your bill. Cracker Barrel is NOT your local country store there is no hospitality let alone an understanding of genuine southern hospitality and it is sadly no longer the establishment it used to be as a company entirely. Childhood gem ruined. It is in fact another run down corporate mass market that is serving you three day old pre-made and heated to order bread with a kitchen that would haunt your dreams and a veteran par 4 staff (that to put lightly) are those responsible for the years worth of crud and gunk in the back that inevitably you're consuming and digesting.. laughable at best. Nothing in that kitchen is made from scratch on day of besides your eggs and those are still real only because of a company contract with their supplier. Campfire back on the menu?! Well that campfire stew is the campfire you didn't purchase two days prior now made into a new entree.. cutting corners in the kitchen and cleaning but won't cut your lazy and disrespectful staff??? Do yourself a favor, eat anywhere else especially steering clear from this location in particular no matter visiting or residing here in Orlando Florida. Par 4 servers are running the place into the ground with no genuine managing going on whatsoever. They're versed in damage control and even that they can't do correctly. Understaffed, poorly managed if at all, disrespectful coworkers and severe lack of teamwork ethic. Hazardous levels of neglect in terms of basic health standards e.g. staff not washing their hands at every dish pit drop off after handling dirty plates and previously half eaten food and utensils, lack of proper cleaning procedures in place or followed through on, latte machine has been properly cleaned once in three months of working at this location. There is an employee on staff with photographs of all of this evidence. Take caution if eating here, genuinely, they just rinse the tea bins out with hot water and sanitizer never once removing the three piece nozzle. Only God knows what crap you're truly consuming at this location. None of this is "new" news either: In 2006, the Department of Justice (DOJ) investigated Cracker Barrel after a lawsuit alleging racial discrimination. The investigation found evidence of discrimination in 50 restaurants across seven states, with managers often participating in or directing racist treatment of customers. In 2024, a Cracker Barrel restaurant in Waldorf, Maryland, faced backlash after refusing service to a group of students with special needs. And recently, "A wage and hour lawsuit alleges Cracker Barrel required their tipped employees to perform non-tip-producing job duties at the end of their shifts without providing them with minimum wage. I don't really like chains, but honestly this spot is consistent, service is good and the food is tasty. If you're in the mood for country food or all day breakfast, you really can't go wrong here. For breakfast you're definitely going to have to wait, but for dinner I got sat immediately. There's plenty to see in their country store while you wait or you can sit in the patio, play a game or chill on a rocking chair. If you go on their website you're able to join their waitlist before you get there. Just make sure you let them know you're there when you arrive. That usually helps with wait times. This was probably my first visit to a Cracker Barrel, though I have a vague sense that I may have been to one while attending college in the Midwest. That is, I suppose, part of Cracker Barrel's intent and appeal - a nostalgic familiarity that evokes memories of the diners and general stores we may have visited - or perhaps seen on television - in the good old days. The food here wasn't outstanding, but it was good for what it is, and met or exceeded my expectations. They were permanently out of one of their seasonal specials, which was understandable, albeit a little disappointing since it was still advertised in their menus, table cards and flyers, but the waitress was empathetic and personable enough that it was a non-issue. The homey atmosphere and decor is squarely on brand, and doesn't feel forced or overdone as is sometimes the case with theme/chain restaurants. I'm not sure how often I'd dine here if I lived, say, within a half-hour drive, but it's well worth a visit if you're ever in the mood for an old-time country breakfast, or have never experienced the charm of a Cracker Barrel restaurant/store read more

I don't know why I stopped going to this place, but I'll never do that again. I took my partner for the first time in order to try the beignets. We honestly went in with no expectations and we were happily surprised. Once again, they exceeded in food and service. I ordered the Grandma sampler with the casserole and pecan pancakes. They have sugar free syrup and it's warm like the regular. All our food was hot but good enough to eat. The ingredients are fresh, so that will always be their big difference with other breakfast diners. The service was amazing as per usual. You get friendly servers without feeling pushed to order everything or like they're in your face at all times. Came here for dinner to start our Christmas vacation with my in-laws who flew in. The staff is extremely friendly and we were sat quickly. Like many restaurants I believe they were short staffed as our waiter was MOVING!!! He was covering multiple sections. This made it take a while to get our order in and received. Cracker Barrel does a great job with having games on the tables for their guests to help kill time and bond with those seated with you. Our food was good, I truly enjoyed my dinner... The biscuits were one of my favorites as they were SUPER soft and warm. I didn't like the corn muffins as they were a bit dry. First time at Cracker Barrel anywhere...when you walk inside you're instantly inside their store which sells clothes, candy from childhood, gifts, etc. It was a good place to shop around especially when you're waiting for a table...but it's also a great way to make more money for the restaurant. The service was bad this visit as I am a frequent visitor of Cracker Barrel. My first complaint was how so many items on the menu were not available. The country chicken, broccoli, fried pork and I believe a few more sides. Also I was never asked if I wanted a refill on my sweet tea. My biggest complaint this visit was when my 6yr old son had accidentally dropped his water on the floor and they made a big fuss about it. One of the waiters said "did you really need to track it all the way down the walk way?" Which was from their first attempt to clean it up with napkins. On the positive side Food was good as usually with the limited available menu but what saved them is the kindness of the host at the register she was sweet and friendly making up for a lot of the bad experience. 3 stars is a stretch for this visit but from past experiences they have been great! read more

The lemonade ($3) needed a bit more sugar but it was good. Not a good as the one a certain chicken place makes but still good. The pot pie was blazing hot on the inside, salty but in a delicious way and filling. Down to the last bite its filling and chicken pieces were lava hot. So good.
