I love Panera, and even though I didn't have the best experience at this location tonight, my love for Panera hasn't changed. We parked and walked up to the door which we then realized was locked. We then noticed the sign in the door that said the dining room is closed but drive thru is open. While we were pretty upset about this, with Covid, we totally understood. We went back to the car and got in the drive thru line. We had our two kids with us that were going to eat mac and cheese that is not really car friendly so we planned to eat at the outdoor tables they had out front. We were in line for about 20 minutes before it was our turn to order. Again we were annoyed, but it's Panera and not as fast as typical fast food and we get that. So we order. I got a grilled cheese with tomato soup, husband got a Caesar salad, and the kids got mac n cheese and a grilled cheese to split. After paying, we waited another 7ish minutes until we were handed our food. We were on a short road trip and pretty hangry at this point so my husband wanted to make sure there were spoons and forks in the bag. The attendant said that there were. Ok, great. We sit down. I give everyone their food.... No utensils. Husband tries knocking on the door. They ignored him. We consider having him go through the drive thru line again and quickly realize our food would be cold bu the time he got back. I then decide to call the actual store. It rang for forever. Finally someone answered. I explain our situation and the missing utensils and ask if someone can walk them out to us since the door was locked. The person on the phone gave me a reluctant "ummm alright?" and showed up at the door a few minutes later. With copious amounts of utensils. Yay. All our frustration subsided, we ate our food, and it was all great and tasty. Then came cleanup time. I cleaned iff the table and put everything back in the bag it came in. I then realize there is no trash can. Then, I notice two other bags perched on two other tables realizing others had the same issue. We decided to take the bags to a nearby gas station to throw out but come on! Just one of these things alone would not have made for a less than great experience, but combined it made for a frustrating (but yummy) mess. I am just grateful they got the food right! read more

I love Panera. Like LOVE it. I've never had a bad food experience at any of the locations I've been to. For me, the only variable is the ambiance and the service. This Panera gets an A+ in every category. Location - RIGHT off the FL Turnpike and on the Osceola Parkway. It's easy to get to and a hell of a lot better than regular turnpike food. It's an easy off-shoot, which makes it easy to get yummy, healthy food on the go. And if you're in a hurry, they have a... Drive Thru - I had never seen a Panera with a drive thru before! I didn't try it out (I needed a break from my 8 hour drive) but this could definitely be helpful for someone in a hurry! Especially if you just want a coffee and pastry - nice option to have. Size/amenities - this Panera is MASSIVE. I mean huge. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely come here to study or meet with someone (which, FYI, is what I use Panera for 9 out of 10 times). I also like the way the place is divided up - the layout makes little "zones" which is great. And standard to Panera (but worth repeating): free WiFi and unlimited coffee refills. Service - they were quick and efficient at the counter. My order was correct (always a plus) and they came around and cleared my table for me (you normally clean up after yourself). I was so happy to see the Panera Bread open near me. It has always been one of my favorite semi fast food restaurants. This one is in a great location, easy in and easy out. Great outdoor seating. I am from the Midwest originally, and used to eat at this chain all the time. I don't remember the vast selection of yummy baked goods at the one I used to frequent. The broccoli cheddar soup is top notch. The one downfall is the great outdoor seating overs looks a busy city street and a big box store parking lot. Go for the sandwich and cup of soup. We went for breakfast for the first time. Good food, good service. Our food came up quickly! My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich. My oatmeal was a little bland, but the strawberries helped. The servers were friendly, and the restraunt was clean. Plenty of seating available unlike many other Panera locations. read more

I ordered a spinach and artichoke souffle with an orange juice. Souffle was burnt and tough around edges,but i said "i will just eat it". Big mistake! I got food poisoning from it!! All day running to the bathroom isnt how i expected my day to go! Also they didnt have there act all together. Seemed like mindless drones. Drive Thru: I asked for a simple 2 pieces of baguette, toasted, with butter...some genius did not slice it, which means its just went into the toaster and the outside part (which is already crunchy/toasted) got warm and the inside is left soft cold, and chewy. I was not going to go back to complain about $1 bread...I had to pull over to cut it open in my car to spread the butter (i know they don't spread anything for you, that wasn't an issue). The butter was frozen so it was just peeling back the cold bread fluff as i was trying to spread it...i got 2 generous large pieces of bread, probably 4x2 inches...and they only provided 2 packets of butter which is like 2 teaspoons....it took me 1.5 packets to get both sides of ONE piece. So i was able to eat 1 piece of cold buttered bread...Some homeless guy in the parking of Panera lot tried to open my car door while i was fixing my bread...so that added to the frustration. read more

218/100 in 2016 challenge Good location. In a strip mall with a T-Mobile and a few others in front of a Wal-Mart in a busy section of Kissimmee. Great place. Hubby and I like going here for a quick breakfast when we want to get away from the kiddos and still bring them back something. Kids love the bear claws and chocolate croissants. I am in LOVE with the egg and cheese on the Asiago bagel. Well actually I think I am just in love with Asiago bagel. I am also in love with the danish ring. The hubby usually gets a bowl of oatmeal as I never finish anything I order. ( my eyes are always bigger then my tummy). I also can't get enough of the tomato bisque and french onion soup. This location never seems to busy when I am there. Or they just seem to know how to help the customers quickly. The store has a front and rear parking area which is nice. Never enough parking in front. Also the spots seem smaller to me in the front than the back. Employees have always been polite and helpful. Store has always seemed cleaned and I have notice that they tend to the coffee area quiet a lot. I like that.Nicely decorated. Bathrooms are clean and well kept. read more

I was a little annoyed today ordering the drive thru at panera. I ordered a pick 2, a soup and a signature sandwich. Menu it says $7.99. When I paid, they charged me $9.39. What was that about? Well they charged me for a bowl of soup, instead of the cup that usually comes with the pick 2. Without asking me. Then wouldn't fix it because they'd already given me my food. I love panera, love their food. Bringing back the frozen lemonade was a great idea (could be more frozen and less liquid though). But work with your customers a bit more when you mess up read more

The guy makes my sandwich and three others for the guest behind me. He drops mine on the floor and gives all of the other sandwiches to the next customer and wants me to wait for him to remake mine rather than just give me one of the other breakfasts coming off the grill. This kind of college thinking not helpful for a Panera off the Turnpike that is trying to be Starbucks on the insta meal dept. This was probably my worst experience ever at a Panera Bread. I payed for a bowl at the cashier and they waited 30 minutes to tell me that they were out of bowls. They told me I could get something else instead, so I decided to get a whole flatbread which was cheaper than the bowl. When I asked for a refund on the difference, the manager was being super rude and kind of sarcastic with me. They also messed up with my order a lot. I had to keep asking for the items I purchased. Besides that, there were a lot of employees at the kitchen talking inappropriately right next to the customers. The manager was one of them. I'm always eating at Panera Bread, but it was my first time at this location and I felt very disappointed. Definitely never coming back there. read more

Excellent, busy place. Lots of locals. Food is fresh and quickly served in a clean, quiet atmosphere. Great wifi and chance to sit and read over coffee. The loop has lots of shopping, movie theater and other venues. A Panera super store is opening within a year near Disney's town of Celebration which will make it easier for those of us who now drive from that area. read more

Wow. Never expected to get watered down soup at a Panera. The cream of chicken & wild rice soup was so thinned with water that it had no flavor and or any creamy qualities at all. The greasy ring floating around the edge added to the disgusting mess. In all my years of enjoying my favorite Panera soup I had never been disappointed until today. Substitutions were made in my Fuji apple chicken salad too. The cheese was not Gorgonzola and the lettuce had no romaine. Also the ladies room hadn't been tended to from the messy state. Tuna sandwich barely has tuna and half the bread and then it's loaded with 3 tomato's, 2 huge pieces of lettuce that look wilted. Stopped by for a quick lunch and take-out for family members. Hubby and I both got the chicken salad sandwiches and drinks. The take-out items were an Italian sandwich and a tomato/mozzarella flatbread. Everything was prepared exactly as ordered. This location is quite large and relatively busy for a Sunday afternoon. Only one pair of computer hogs ,with beverages only, in the whole place, unlike the crowd of faux intellectuals that take up 50% of the Panera space in Winter Springs. Guess these Kissimmee people actually have homes. Anyhow, the bread was soft and fresh, the service was good and the place was clean. We'd stop here again in a heartbeat. read more
