This PB location has a lot of work to do when it comes to customer service. Curbside pick up is a joke here. I placed an app order well in advance and when I get there to alert them I've arrived, no one comes out. So, I called to let them know and the guy apologizes and says it'll be right out. Five minutes later, still sitting in my car waiting. I walk in and there's four staff members just standing there talking to each other. The guy I spoke to leads me to the pick-up station and hands me my order that's been sitting there all that time. Again, he apologizes. Next time around, I placed a drive-thru order and ask for my receipt so I can claim a reward point. The guy hands me a reprint with no receipt code for me to enter for to get my point. Look, I understand these are challenging times for all of us as well as businesses. But if you're just standing there not doing your job, how can you count on staying in business? On the morning of November 26th, I decide to stop by Panera Bread. I ordered the new Bacon, Egg, Cheese no Cheese Breakfast Sandwich on Brioche with the Maple Spread. I received the food promptly and bounced. While driving, (I know I'm not supposed to do this), I open up the wrapping so that I can enjoy this breakfast sandwich. To my dismay, there's cheese on it. I'm approaching Bake Parkway Northbound now and I exit. I entered the 405 off of Lake Forest Drive. I roll back up, explain what happened, and was asked to pull forward. I received the next sandwich and was vaguely offered something to drink. When I say vaguely, it didn't seem as if it was a free offer but an offer. On the receipt, a "treat" is offered if there is a mix up. A drink isn't a treat so that would be presumptuous of me the think the drink would be no cost. I asked for a cup of water. I then roll off again. As I check the sandwich, I discover there's no Cheese (as I requested) but now, there's no maple spread. Dry sandwich. Great. 2 stars because the food was good and the drive thru person was sweet. I'm not of the mindset to go to a place a 3rd time on a botched order. I believe its fair to explain the issue, accept the resolution, and keep it moving. The resolution in this instance wasn't a good one. Stopped in for a quick snack. Wasn't busy and the cashier was very friendly and patient with answering questions I had. Been a while and there was some new items on the menu. Ordered a pepperoni flatbread pizza- not bad. Broccoli cheddar soup- always a go-to and a handful of their chicken chip cookies and m&m cookies. I LOVE these cookies there! Terrible experience. I've been here before and good and service was ok but this morning it was horrible. Ordered from the table using their app. Saw at least 5 parties walking in and ordering at the counter after I placed my order and getting their food before I did. Their ordering tablets dont work, asked the the cashier to help. Her terrible attitude completely escalated the situation. From the very start her attitude was confrontational. SHE went and got the manager.. I followed her, and heard her say something about my daughter. First time eating here and I loved it. Great big portions. I had the pick 2 meal with a large bowl of creamy chicken and rice soup which was amazing along with a good 3 inches of French baguette. I also had the pepperoni pizza on the French baguette and it was juicy and wonderful. I will be back soon. Very affordable too. Not usually a fan of Panera this is a great location. Right off the highway and by my house I have stopped her for coffee plenty of times and enjoyed all varieties from hot to iced and blended. I have not tried very many food items here and that's because the ones that I have tried I like so much I can't help but order them every time. We walked in 40 minutes to closing and employees were too busy discussing the latest Japanese porn. while we're ordering you hear "what the F*** in the background" The cashier thought it was funny. I love panera, just not this one. i'm literally sitting here at the restaurant right now writing this. I've never bee nto this location before and was excited to find it. Parking was easy, and there wasn't a long wait to order which was great, but their selection of pastries was very limited and the person who took my order could definitely been nicer. I ordered my sandwich then i asked her "do you guys still have the deal where if i order a sandwich and a drink i get a pastry cheaper?" without relying to my question she tosses a soda cup over register.. (i go to panera a lot so i know for a fact that a coffee would qualify as a drink as well) so i told her i actually wanted a coffee instead, still without saying anything she took the soda cup back and put a coffee cup over the register, let out a sigh like i was being annoying or something.. Me and the family found this Panera by accident. This is our favorite chain and for people that do not eat out that much we probably do 50% of our eating out here. Unfortunately the location's near our home have been not great experiences. This place is located in a strip mall area with many other businesses. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was it was actually very clean. To be fair it was not busy but I have not walked into a clean Panera since we moved to California a year ago. So we immediately liked this place. Ironically we noticed it had more selections around the drinks and the cookies and bakery items were well stocked. This was also physically a bigger location which gave much more room in the actual seating area. It was comfortable and a nice place to sit and eat with my family. read more

This place is consistent they offer a variety of sandwiches and more recently don't allow tipping of their staff. I had a tuna sandwich on wheat, that came with a half of dried non-appetizing pickle.
