Service is incredible and the food looked and tasted so good. The chicken is tasty and moist. The fries were well cooked. The ranch and Cesar dressing are delicious. Highly recommend this place when you are in Irvine.

Located in the mall. Loved the portions and the quality of the food. Can get busy during lunch time. The food came out faster than expected given how busy they were. They have indoor and outdoor seating. halal.

Was at the Irvine Spectrum and saw a line out the door for this place- I love Mediterranean food and I was excited to give it a try regardless of the wait, it took about 30 minutes for the food to come out on a busy day, a little hard to find seating because the store itself is pretty small, but there is plenty of seating outside of the store at the Spectrum. You can see the kitchen preparing the food from the register as well! We ordered the whole chicken which came with two sides and I think this one was my favorite because of how juicy the chicken was when I tore it open. We also ordered the chicken with the salad and a pineapple drink. Overall, I had a great experience and it was so yummy!

Delicious taste, presentation and service. Really enjoyed their Cali Salad and the portion is generous. All the ingredients, especially the chicken was fresh!

Dizzy Bird has quickly become one of my fav eats for chicken! I have been wanting to try this hot spot for awhile, so when given an opportunity, I scheduled a lunch date w/ the hubs (since we were already at the Spectrum, dropping off our daughter for a hangout). We stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon (around 2:30ish) and it was poppin'. Even tho there was a line, ordering was fairly quick, since we knew what we wanted & ordered via the kiosk. Seating (both indoors & out) was hot real estate, so you really needed to keep an eye out to grab one before it's gone. Luckily, a fam was finishing up as we finished our ordering. Upon seating down, our name was called at the pick-up counter, so service was efficient. The vibe is chill, but fast-paced/hectic as well. Both the hubs & I ordered a two-thigh plate ~ which comes w/ 2 sides ($19.99/each). We opt'd for just the classic/original, no fancy smansy sauce it up..so we can truly taste the quality. I chose the pesto pasta salad & roasted lemon garlic potatoes for my sides & the hubs got the side salad & baked sweet potato. It was alot of food, for the price point..so it's fair (factoring in, we are dining at the Spectrum too). The food was fresh, chicken was moist & flavorful, and everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was really juicy w/ a crispy exterior, and the sides complemented the meal well. I loved my pesto pasta salad. It reminded me of a mac salad (which I always get if given the chance), but w/ a pesto taste mixed in. Filling & refreshing. The potatoes were seasoned & grilled well. It had loads of flavor. I really liked my hub's baked sweet potato too. We halfsies the sides, so that we each could try everything. OMG..do yourself a favor and order extra TOUM (it's only like 0.75 cents extra)!!! That Lebanese garlic sauce is BOMB! I dipped it w/ literally EVERYTHING ~ from my pita bread to my chicken, and even my potatoes. YUMSSS.. All in all, great portions for the price & definitely worth a visit, esp. if you're craving fresh and healthy & in the area already. We'll be coming back again. RxFoodie recommend!!!

--- Definitely not a duck - it's chicken, and the dizzy bird will leave you dizzy in the best way. I normally wouldn't stop at a place like this, but you've gotta try Dizzy Bird here at the Irvine Spectrum. Everything is fresh, from the chicken to the salads and the drinks, and it's quickly become one of my favorite spots out here. If you're at the Spectrum and craving something tasty and satisfying, hit this place up.

We've been to Dizzy Bird countless times and the food is always consistent. The rotisserie chicken is juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly every time. The Cali Salad with lemon dressing is a favorite. Friendly service and great food

Was excited to try this place. Food was good but this is how I received my wrap so was impossible to eat. Like the bottom got left on the grille

I've been meaning to try this place for so long and finally got the chance. It's located in Irvine spectrum, close to the playground. We got there right at opening and they always h a steady stream of customers. Service was efficient. Cashier was very patient explaining items to us newbies! Very casual atmosphere with seats inside and outside. Food came out fresh and hot. The chicken was so so so good-very tender and juicy. Fries were crispy and you can tell they just made them! Pesto pasta was also a nice added touch. I can't wait to come back in the future.

Just tried Dizzy Bird for the first time with a coworker for lunch today 3/24/26....sitting back at my desk trying to figure out where to begin. By far, what absolutely made the experience such a joy, was being helped by Tenzin!!! He was so happy to go over the menu and recommend things to us. Dizzy Bird should take notice of him providing amazing customer service! He was so welcoming and kind- it's not always the case and he surpassed my expectations. The food was amazing, not even gonna lie. I need to be back and try their salads. Everything tasted 10/10 !!!! They have a garlic sauce that is AMAZING!! This is a must try if you happen to be in the area or hanging out at the Spectrum. YUM!! I even ordered to go for next day's lunch!! So so good!

This is my second time coming to dizzy bird at the spectrum. Both times I got the hot bird wrap. This time we placed our order online to avoid some possible wait time. Both times I've been to the store, the layout and size make it so that it ends up quite cramped and difficult to navigate, and there's no good place to wait to receive your food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and are generous with sauce or whatever you need. The food seems to be consistently very fresh, and their flavors are strong and on point. I recommend asking for a side of their goddess ranch and hot sauce, both are made in house I believe and have very good flavor. Definitely worth the trip to spectrum just to grab dinner.

It was my first time trying this place after hearing so much about it and seeing their ads around Irvine. I honestly loved it! We ordered the 2-piece chicken plate with two sides (pesto pasta was delicious!), the garlic lemon potato which was amazing, and a chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. They also have great lemonade with free refills, and the ambiance is casual and family-friendly. Highly recommend if you're craving chicken plates, chicken breast, or a really good sandwich! All the staff are very friendly helpful.

Quarter leg combo with corn and fries
    Liz N.

Got this to go and ordered it online. The food was ready before the estimated time despite it being quite busy at the restaurant. We ordered the quarter leg combo which comes with 2 sides and we chose the corn and fries. It also comes with some lavash, garlic sauce, and pickles. The food was delicious! Chicken was super tender and the garlic sauce has a nice kick to it that balances everything out. I want to go back and try the wraps!

I'm from Sacramento so the Irvine spectrum center is comparable to the fountains at Roseville or the Palladio in Folsom in the sac area. We ordered popcorn chicken, french fries and drinks (mainly for the kids) and to get a snack since we were hungry. Inside has a few tables, which there were one or two other customers inside dining. Inside the space was pretty messy. It looks like the workers did not have time to clean since there were crumbs and bits of trash. I'm glad we didn't dine in. For the food, since it's made to order, we waited just over 15 minutes for the fried foods. It came out piping hot, which we didn't really get to enjoy since by then, our table at din Tai Fung was ready. So we brought it with us. The chicken was really good. It was seasoned well and they even gave us a seasoning packet to add more flavor to the popcorn chicken. I'll go back if I'm in this area and want boba and popcorn chicken.

We decided to stop here because we wanted something quick and Asian, and I came in with pretty low expectations. I was just looking for a decent meal. Well... if you couldn't tell from my 5 star review, it completely exceeded my expectations.I ordered the Hat Yai Chicken, and my girlfriend ordered the Popcorn Chicken. Hat Yai Chicken: I grew up in Bangkok and spent my childhood eating all kinds of fried chicken at every hour of the day. This dish brought back a lot of memories. The chicken was well marinated and delicious both with and without the dipping sauce. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned, with a balanced ginger and garlic flavor that wasn't overly greasy. The best part, though, was the fried shallots. People don't realize how much they tie the whole dish together. I don't need to fly all the way to Hat Yai to enjoy great Hat Yai fried chicken anymore. Popcorn Chicken: If you've ever had KFC Thailand's Gai Zap, you've had something very similar to this. I honestly have no complaints. It was flavorful, tangy, spicy, and incredibly aromatic. If I had to describe it another way, I would say it's popcorn chicken seasoned with larb spices. The biggest surprise was the ranch. I've never had ranch like this before. It had a subtle hint of lemongrass, and somehow it worked incredibly well with the chicken. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes

I was the only person waiting, and someone quietly mumbled my order number. I looked up because I thought I might have heard it, then he called it again with no smile or thank you. It just felt awkward and unwelcoming. The wings were super oily and not crispy at all. Oil spilled all over me when I took them out of the bag because there was so much excess oil. There was barely any seasoning, and I honestly could have made better wings at home in the air fryer. The chicken itself was just okay, but there were a lot of tiny chopped-up crumb pieces instead of actual chicken pieces. My soup container was less than half full, even though I did not spill anything. The vegetables tasted like generic frozen broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, and they were so salty that I could not even eat them. Not worth it. I will not be returning.

And we definitely felt the warmth in there. We also ordered some soda, which was just a soda machine with some lemonade dispensers on the side. The mango lemonade was horrendous and way out of balance. The "soda" was basically tasteless carbonation as if they forgot to refill the soda machine with the soda syrup. After 30 minutes, we noticed that they were fulfilling the big ticket online/delivery orders first. We were STILL the only people at the restaurant WITHOUT food. All of this would have been annoying but acceptable if the food was good. However, it was very unremarkable. The food was somehow salty but flavorless, despite the considerable amount of spice. The chicken was more oil than crunch. We ordered the crimson burrito, chicken and waffles, and half a dozen chicken wings. 2 stars because the crimson burrito was somewhat enjoyable and the sauce was good.
