Honestly, my fiancée works at a different Panera close to where we live, and this Panera blows it out of the water! We came in at about 12:30, prime lunch rush hour and we ordered our food, it was maybe about 5-8 minute wait, but with how many people were here I was surprised with the speed. Ridiculously long lines everywhere. I understand the after-church rush, but it was crazy. We ordered to dine in but there was no seating so we asked to carry out instead and a member of the staff was very rude about it. Food was mediocre and the portions were smaller than usual. bad service.. people at register hate their jobs obviously. they cant keep up and even though you pay for 100% of the bagel and its supposed to be delivered to your table, you get a poorly.toasted cream cheese-less bagel. you end up doing 50% of the job if you wanna est it as you ordered it. dissapointing every time. read more

You know for the good bread and donuts they have, the sandwiches really are lacking. A while back I got a PB & J on french which I loved. It was on the menu and I looked forward to getting another next time. However the next time included a menu change which put the PB & J on the kids menu. I decided to ask for it anyway and was asked if I wanted a milk with it. It also came on regular bagged bread with a yogurt tube. Love the product but don't like the service. If you wait on someone, you should fill the order rather than moving on to the next customer. I've never had that process in any other Panera. This is one of the best places to grab a sandwich. The service is fast when you come at the right time. The price is a little on the expensive side. The sandwiches are very high quality, very nice and calm place to sit down and chat or get some work down with a delicious snack. I highly recommend this establishment. read more

Was there many years ago expecting the best....from other experiences in other Panetta. Was extremely disappointed. Present.....gave it another chance ....more disappointing than first time. Atmosphere is sorely lacking as is cleanliness. Portions small. Service very impersonal. Worst of all and despite what they say....they DO NOT recycle. Appalling. Good old customer service is declining. Too much reliance on Rapid Pick Up and Kiosk ordering that just walking up to the counter to order finds a lack of employees to take your order. This morning I stopped by for a quick bagel and coffee - there was ONE person at the cash register and she was taking a LARGE order and filling it herself. This was the best Panera I have ever been to. The service was absolutely impeccable. The nice young lady, Julia, was so helpful in helping me place my order. I wanted to try something new and she helped find the perfect meal for me! She was so patient with my 6 children that also needed to order. The food came very quickly and Julia actually delivered it to our table herself! I loved my experience there and will absolutely come back every week. read more

Dirty, slow, drink station over flowed. One cashier while it was full house and other employees did not seem to care. Ordered one chai tea and it took 15minutes. Sorry but I have worked in environments like this and team work and picking up the pace makes a difference and people notice. read more

If I could give minus stars I would!!! My daughter ate there( 4-21-17) she ended up getting food poisoning. I called to speak to a manager, followed the prompts (#5) and it just rings with no answer-i followed the directions many times before I finally called hit the prompt to order take out, the manager Josh was SO rude. I originally just called to give him a heads up that something could be wrong with the chicken cesar salad or their summer (something) chowder soup. He tried to make me feel stupid-however I work in the medical field and actually know a little something about food poisoning v/s viral infection. I ended up taking her to a local medical facility in Lancaster and guess what!?! It was food poisoning from something she had a Panera!!!!!! I personally never cared for Panera now I just hate that place, I'll take my business for an over priced salad/soup/sandwich somewhere else. The power of the tongue can be the best thing ever or the worst! All this manager (Josh) had to do was say hey I am so sorry your daughter got sick from eating here I'll look into this and is there anything I can do to make it right? But no he wanted to make it out that food poisoning never happens and maybe she was sick from something else...sorry buddy not this time! Not a long wait to have my order taken. Made a simple request.. Soup & sandwich. And a simple choice.. Grilled cheese & tomato soup and a medium drink to wash it down with. She told me for my side I could choose bread, apple or chips. Initially I chose bread, but changed it because I'm already having a sandwich, so I opted for chips. That would have been all well & good, but as it turned out, my sandwich came with chips. They processed the order like it was 2 separate oders instead of a combo. Guess I should have opted for the apple slice. At the table there are no s&p shakers, which was sad because the soup needed tweeked a bit. The grilled cheese was nice & hot, but that's where the good news ends. The cheese was flavorless. The soup had a soury taste to it like it didn't have enough sugar added. Had I had a chance to taste it first, I may have passed. The good news is that although they were busy, there was plenty of seating and when I was finished with my meal, I had an extra bag of chips to take home with me. But next time I want soup & a sandwich, I'll go back to Zoups. read more

I walked in tonight (Sunday) 15 minutes before closing. I saw one boy pop his out and say to the cashier that "you have a customer!!" The cashier responded with "are you serious?" The cashier was polite and pleasant, probably realizing she had screwed up with her too-loud response. I wanted a chocolate chip bagel with my food, but they were out. That was ok - it was 9:45pm. I ordered the half sandwich, half salad "deal": the chipotle chicken avocado melt and the chinese citrus cashew with chicken salad. I waited many minutes for the food, listening to the high school boys behind the counter laugh like hyenas about Internet videos. Back in my car, I realized the sandwich had no avocado or cilantro in it, and the salad was missing the chicken. I'm not kidding. So I paid nearly $12 for half of an avocado chicken sandwich that was missing the avocado, a small chicken salad that was missing the chicken, and a tiny bag of lard chips. Drink not included. By the time I realized the mistakes, it was too late to go back in. They had closed. sob. i don't understand the popularity of this restaurant chain. The only thing that redeems this restaurant are the chocolate chip bagels. read more

I visited Panera for the first time. I ordered the Chipolte chicken avocado melt with apples as my side to go. After getting home did I realize what poor quality food this was. Maybe 2 bites of avocado on whole sandwich. Skimpy tasteless chicken. It was mostly all bread! And the apples were a whole apple , not slices as I thought. Would have been ok with that but it was this tiny tiny apple with bruises all over it and looked obviously old and dirty. I threw it away. I complained online but no one seemed to care. This Panera has changed their format and now caters to customers that order their food online and pick it up and leave. If you want to have a salad with a business client go elsewhere. The line for walk in customers is long and regularly out the door. Waited 20 minutes with slow order takers only to have soup taken off the menu because they were out at 12:20 in the day.
