All the pies we tried were delicious. The stand out: Best Lemon Meringue pie I have EVER had, and I LOVE lemon meringue pie. I made my husband go almost an hour each way (so 2 hours) so I could have this pie as my Easter dessert. He didn't mind, we ate breakfast while we were there, lol. Note: breakfast doesn't include pies, but for less than $5 you get a slice of pie to go that is really 2 slices worth. I read the reviews for Lancaster Brewing (near a farm, cow, covered bridge, they serve pretzels, horse & buggys are nearby). When I saw that there was a bartender named Boots, I knew we had to visit. Hubby had already read about Lancaster Brewing and we were happy to visit. You can't tour the actual brewery anymore but the manger and bartenders are great about discussing the brewing process and styles. There were some interesting seasonal beers. We could have moved to a table but we enjoyed chatting with Boots. He is easy going and quite knowledgeable about everything on tap. The menu has sandwiches, pizza and pub food. My only wish is that they include fried pickles. The place is fun. The retail items are limited but you can buy a six pack for about $13 that you mix and match yourself. Growlers are also available. The place closes at 9pm, so plan accordingly if going at night.

Not a massive spread but still worth it to check out with some gorgeous country views out the window.

The costume jewelry was also hugely extortionate priced $19.99. I freely walked the aisles to browse and circled back. I purchased one post card of Amish horse buggy with a farm field $0.50, one Pennsylvania shape magnet $1.99, and one lighthouse shape coaster $2.99. I have a small collection of post cards from travels. I actually needed a coaster for my workplace desk as I am currently using a makeshift coaster of my own arts and craft creation. I love lighthouses for the long history, significance, contribution to navy and maritime industry, including aesthetic of nature scenic local landscape emitting a sense of peace.
