Harvest Seasonal Grill is such a fabulous restaurant for seasonal menu with creative flair, including the cocktail list as well as food quality and presentation. Our most recent experience on 6/27 did not disappoint in any way and elevated our satisfaction. Megan C. was our server and she was dynamic as always. She takes time to listen, is attentive and knowledgeable. Other team members/supervisors were also friendly and were genuinely interested in feedback. For a restaurant to excel in all areas is rare. Harvest Seasonal Grill is one of the finest, and finer than some "fine dining" establishments. We enjoyed the Raspberry Yuzu Martini which was perfectly balanced. The sweet corn chowder will forever be remembered as being so delicious that we were glad we did not opt out of that since we knew we also wanted the Korean BBQ Pork Dumplings. Those were delicious with a zing of spice to keep it interesting but not be overbearing. My husband was very pleased with his Spicy Shrimp Noodle Bowl. He needed a bit more oomph and was brought siracha to please his palate. My Summer Beet Salad with added salmon was perfect, truly. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing but with lots of flavor. The peaches and beets were both fresh for the season. And a big delicious yes to the peanut butter chocolate dessert mini. It was the right size for us to share but selfishly we wanted more because the peanut butter mousse was whipped to perfection. The only bad thing for us is that the closest Harvest is about 30 minutes away in Lancaster. It annoys me when I see people that don't understand ratings. Lancaster people can appreciate a great restaurant, I'm sure. Every time I go here we're all delighted. And impressed by the level of service received. All the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. They really go way above the standard of service and quality. lol it literally angers me that they don't have 5 stars. Keep doing what you're doing, Harvest. We eat eat at least once a month. We sit at the bar mostly, unless it is nice out. We sit on the patio and last night was beautiful. Haylee was our very attentive server and she smile a lot. (beautiful smile) Let's start with at appetizer, we get the Korean Cauliflower. Outstanding. I want to lick the plate (sorry). This a farm to table mostly restaurant. I have had steak, wedge salad, soup, fish, etc. etc. Last night I had the Halibut and was a little disappointed in that it was slightly overcook, but good. So 1 in 100 times a small disappointment. You are able to make reservations at this restaurant, which is nice. Our server was friendly and notified us of their new summer menu. Their peach green tea arnold palmer is very refreshing and good - highly recommend. The potstickers are okay, not authentic but satisfy a dumpling craving. We had the most delightful dinner with 2 carnivores and 2 vegans last weekend. I can speak for myself when I say the vegan eggplant Parmesan was outstanding, it had truly the right level of crispy breading and the pasta was fantastic. I sincerely enjoyed this spacious and inviting venue and appreciated their diverse and healthy menu. Burrata Appetizer was wonderful! My wife had a very delicious Sesame Chicken dish and I had what had to be the worst eggplant parmesan of my life. Picture a 1/2" slice of raw eggplant deep fried just until the egg coating browned. The inside was virtually raw. The pasta side looked like it sat in a serving tray for a week. Sauce is not supposed to be almost brown. Very hit or miss. read more

We came for brunch because we read great reviews. It started off great. The young gentleman who was the host on 4/19 was awesome- so friendly so welcoming really good. Then we got seated and it wasn't too busy bc we got there around 12pm. We were greeted by our server Christina, and off the bat she seemed not as friendly. We started off with our drinks and the water and soft drinks came semi quick but my husbands dirty Bloody Mary came after 30 minutes and that's after I had asked Christina if the blood Mary was coming out and she apologized and said she forgot about it. Blood Mary finally came but disappointed bc it was lacking a lot. Just not a good blood Mary. Food took about 40 min to come out. My daughter's eggs came out first and the eggs were so cold, you know it was just sitting out for a while. Then the Jamaican jerk chicken flatbread came out. Disappointed. The flatbread was very soggy, it was just grilled chicken with mozzarella cheese and some bbq sauce drizzled over. Nothing about it was "jerk chicken" then the main courses started to come. I got the scrambled egg bowl- it was so cold, again you can tell it was just sitting out for a while. It was super bland. The "Cajun aioli" tasted like mayo and mustard mixed together, nothing Cajun about it. My mom got the brioche French toast. The bread was definitely not brioche, it was so hard and dry. I think they used sourdough instead. Again this was also very cold so maybe that's why it was so dry? My husband got the avocado blt, which was also horrible. The bread was so bad. We love sourdough but this sourdough was so bad. Just a bad sandwich. My son got the two eggs farmers breakfast- nothing special about it. Very very basic and average. This was also very cold. Overall none of us enjoyed our food. For the price, not worth it. Service was horrible. We had asked for a side of hot sauce when we initially ordered our food, but we didnt get it. So then we asked the girl we brought out our for the hot sauce, she never brought it out. Then Christina finally came around and we asked her and she gave us hot sauce when we were basically done eating. We didn't get checked in on, lacked hospitality. Christina took off the blood Mary bc I guess she felt bad for forgetting about it? Which I guess was nice.... We're big foodies, and this food just wasn't for us. It lacked flavor big time. I met my friend at this restaurant and we both had a wonder meal. I ordered a seasonal entree and my friend got one of their regular entrees. We were both very happy with our selections. The menu was very easy to read if you have allergies, lower calorie, need gluten free or other dietary needs. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We both ordered a small (shot glass size) dessert. So great. The parking was convenient and the restaurant was very clean. We got there at 5 pm for an early dinner. I hate to do this review since we had better experiences at this restaurant. We went and we ordered off their brunch menu. My wife and I both had the eggs Benedict; one with sirloin tips and one with bacon. They came with potatoes. First, the food was late coming out when it didn't seem busy. Second, the food was cold. And, the sirloin tips were really tough. We did have 2 drinks and a $7 appetizer but with bad entrees the bill was $65. A lot for not a great experience. Been a few years, since we don't live in Lancaster, but I made a holiday Saturday lunch reservation in December for 8 & our lunch was excellent. Our server was very efficient. We all enjoyed our meals: margarita flatbread, pear & bleu flatbread, Caesar salad, chicken sandwich, Harvest salad, shrimp piccata special with linguine & huge shrimp. Iced tea refilled without asking. Our table was ready upon arrival. They had the Christmas tree up & the fireplace going. We were too full for dessert. My parents and I came here for my dad's birthday. We ordered mostly side dishes (lol) and two flatbreads because the other menu items didn't intrigue us, but we're very happy with what we ordered! We ate veggies, mac & cheese, and flatbreads family-style, and got to taste of everything in nice proportions of some very healthy dishes. Some dishes were more oily than we'd like, but it wasn't half bad. Our waiter even gave my dad a free birthday dessert and lit a candle for him! (The dessert was too sweet, but hey, free dessert? Wow what a disappointment. I had an Amex incentive to dine here and was honestly excited for a veggie filled dinner, and having a somewhat fancy experience with my partner. I had been to one other location in Delaware and had a pretty nice experience. This was pretty rough. I spent over 140 dollars- he got lamb and I got steak. His lamb- two thin slices of lamb over veggies for $42. All of the food was lukewarm and under seasoned. They put this feta sauce on everything and honestly it was the only redeeming flavor since it offered some salt. Veggies weren't cooked correctly- some carrots were hard and some were very soft- same with potatoes. My steak was fine- edible but not enjoyable. Bland and for $50 I'd rather anything else. I highly regret eating here. I was disappointed first bite and unsatisfied the rest of the night. Served was nice enough but not very knowledgeable about the menu. read more

First time here on July 4. Open on July 4, so I appreciate that! Place was very busy also. Super nice ambiance. Slightly upscale with a cozy vibe. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We were seated at a table with narrow metal chairs, which I found a bit uncomfortable. Service was excellent. Attentive, thorough, and friendly. The server asked right away if anyone had food allergies and provided options and assistance. Excellent menu. Farm to table. Menu items change depending on what is in season. We had the BLT special which was loaded with bacon. Great sourdough bread! We also had the gluten free BLT which was excellent with Naan bread. The fish tacos were excellent also. The Kung Pao cauliflower wings were not great; mushy boiled cauliflower and bland. We sent that back and they graciously took it off the bill. As a trained Chef, I would bread and crisp up the cauliflower and toss it in the sauce. Dessert was amazing. Smaller portions and approximately 6 options. Like mini sundaes. I had the orange cream tres leches. So delicious! We also had the chocolate caramel and the chocolate peanut butter. Everything delicious. What I do find strange is that they bring over ALL the deserts to your table and you take from them. Good sized portions. Great cocktail selection if you that's your thing. It was soo good, I ordered an extra side of fries for the entire table. The applesauce tasted fresh but it was too sweet for us. I wondered if the chef added sugar to it? For us and that type of fare, I would not have added any or just a little. If there was no added sugar, I would have been very surprised. It was very sweet for apples. The adult burger was delicious! Probably the best simple burger I have ever tasted. It was cooked perfectly medium as requested and lightly seasoned which did the beef justice because it's natural flavors were able to be tasted. The side Mac and Cheese was a little disappointing. While it tasted like fresh quality ingredients, it tasted like it has no seasoning or salt. For an adult menu, it would have been better with some salt and pepper or even a seasoned bread crusted bread crumb topping. What was served was delicious but tasted like it was for a kids pallet or a bland palette. Less seasoning to taste the natural ingredients of each dish is great, but the Mac n cheese as a side needed a little pop to it for me. It was still delicious tho. I would order it again but added my own salt and freshly ground pepper. The wild mushroom enchiladas were delicious!! The mushrooms were meaty, had depth of flavor and were overall great for a meatless enchilada :) The pickled cabbage crunchy, lightly tangy and the black beans and rice with avocado dressing speaks for itself. The star was definitely the mushrooms as it should have been. The white rice was a little over cooked for me and a generous portion. By the end of this meal, what was left back was a handful of plain white rice. I would have done less rice and it needed to be cooked in a way that didn't yield it being sticky OR a add more side components ti eat with the left over rice. Overall, I would order it again. Okay we were stuffed but, the food was soo good we had to try dessert. I really wanted the banana cream pie dish BUT, the key lime and peanut butter chocolate dishes won out at our table and it didn't disappoint. All the desserts were rich and creamy. We, a family of four, split two. For me personally, as I don't do much sugar I would have wanted them all less sweet but I know I'm in the minority with that. My family enjoyed it all. Not a drop was left back for the dessert. I was still left curious about the banana creme pie dish but, I was just too stuffed. This is a family must for anyone passing thru :-) I just read some of the poor reviews regarding the food and I think if you're used to eating an abundance of crap quality ingredients food, smothered in seasoning or grease for a cheap price, you will be disappointed. This did taste farm to table fresh. Smaller portions for a higher price but it's post pandemic people. Everything is more expensive. I found the dishes competitively priced for fresh ingredients and nice atmosphere. Fresh doesn't mean bland but, you also don't want anything over seasoned to lose the taste of real ingredients. I absolutely loved this place! The vibes are POPPING OFF into another realm with the comfortable restraint and bar stylings we all know. Think Applebees, but elevated with more energy and a healthier, ethically sourced menu. The service was outstanding, with great recommendations from our server!
