Walk in to order bagels and coffee for a client morning mingle. I tell the young lady Shawntel I'd like 3 bagel packs and she gasps and rolls her eyes. I ask her point plank did my order upset you and she says "it's a lot of work packing them up". I visited the store about 1:30 pm - apparently the lunch rush was going on. Kind of frustrating. There was no available parking. I had to wait. Cashier was not the friendliest. Sandwich was decent, albeit salty again. I hate the crunchy chips. I don't want an apple and I don't want a piece of bread to go with my sandwich. I just wish they knock off .50 cent and I just get the sandwich. $8 for Turkey Bravo - overpriced. Crowded. No free tables available. I was in a mood for a tuna sandwich for lunch, so I ran into this Panera place, the girl that took my order was half asleep, the guy making a sandwich was all over the place other than the blonde manager all staff members seemed to belong to a fast food service I paid 14 dollars for a sandwich that had barely any tuna on it and a bowl of soup, I'll never go to Panera ever again. I love Panera and visit this one frequently. Tonight I had the worst experience ever. Waited over 10 minutes with a line of others with NO ONE at the front taking orders. After people started leaving someone slowly came out without acknowledging anyone's wait. They were out of apples and chips. After placing order, my salad came without dressing, my daughter's lentil bowl came without the egg, and our sandwich had no usual dressing/sauce. The smoothie was picked up at the counter after asking again on the way out after meal. All this for the low, low price of $35.00. Won't be coming back. Sorry to have bothered you. As always, Panera is a great travel option. It's our go-to restaurant when on the road and need a quick food option. Enjoy the sandwiches and salads...and yes the squash soup and cookies. Even though it is a little more expensive than other options, it is always reliable and good. read more

This Panera is always swamped with peeps! It says something about the consistency of their great food! But sometimes they can be a bit slow on making the food. I usually get "pick two" combo; I love the vegetarian black bean soup and Caesar salad. They give you a baguette for the soup to dip into which is mighty tasty! And the Caesar salad dressing is very good. read more

The food was good. Took a while, but not bad. The 2 stars are coming from the atmosphere. People come here to study, work, have meetings ... all things that require a calm environment. The environment is anything but calm here. The employees are loud. They are having fun and I like that, but it's extremely distracting. I hate leaving reviews like this but I came here for some quiet study time because it's the only place I can do so at this time of night. Like I said, food was great. Employees need to turn it down a little. Keep having fun, just stop yelling, throwing things and just try to turn in down a couple notches. read more

I am sorry others who write reviews tend to have problems. I am at this Panera a lot... and I have only had good experiences. It is slammed on Sunday mornings (of course) but otherwise the service is just fine. I ordered 2 salads online last night to be picked up this morning. I have been to this panera bread location twice and both times it has been FILTHY DIRTY it even smells. Food, plastic cutlery wet napkins littered the floor, I ordered lemonade but both containers were empty. The coffee area was covered in spilled coffee with wet napkins all over it. Everything had a sticky nasty feel to it. Long lines while one of the employees stayed behind the counter on her cell phone. I went into the bathroom and it was the same filth and dirt. Wet toilet paper all over the floor, a toilet cleaning brush opened onto the wet toilet paper, hair all over the sink when i went to wash my hands. The lettuce in my salad was wilted and warm and served up in dirty dishes. DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PANERA BREAD, IT WILL TURN YOUR STOMACH ITS SOOOOO NASTILY FILTHY, THIS IS A VERY POOR REPRESENTATION OF PANERA BREAD, PLEASE SEND AN INTERVENTION!!!!!!!! read more

The worst Panera Bread in Metro Detroit. They have yet to get an order correct when I use Rapid Pick up. Items ordered were forgotten, no utensils , missing dressing etc. this is a recent as yesterday. I am a sales rep and do lunches for dental offices. The service in rhis location has continued to decline since they moved staff over from a closing location near by. Today I found a piece of the plastic serving dish in my soup. The manager didnt come and talk to me, she simply came out the back with a new bowl of soup...seriously! No apology. When I asked for a refund, I was treated as if I was the issue. We placed an order at work for rapid pickup. The order was not ready when we got there and I placed it over an hour and a half before I knew it was a big order but they did not even start it until I was there. They were nice and apologized and gave us free cookies. When I got back to the office and checked the order it was missing things and wrong we did not have time to go back and get new orders because my employees lunch's were already over. One of my vegetarian employees did not get her Sandwich and she ordered a side Caesar salad which came with chicken on it so she was not able to eat. I will never recommend to order a carryout from Panera for more than two people. This is the second time we have ordered for our office and was not correct. read more

I typically don't comment on places that are basically everywhere in the US, but I definitely feel like I should review this Panera. Over the past two weeks, I have been here at least four times. I come here during the weekend because it's peaceful and they have free WiFi, therefore I can get some work done while I'm sipping on unlimited coffee!! Of course, during the week it is a bit more congested but still enough room to bring my laptop. In fact, most of the patrons that come here also are doing work or having lunch meetings. Of course the food is basic Panera food (which is great), but I definitely recommend this place to lounge around on a lovely, sunny day. read more

I forgot my lunch at home today and I knew that I had a free Panera You Pick 2 and I decided to order online and pick up. I ordered around 10 am for an 11:25 pick up with instructions in the comments for no red onions. I walked in to the Panera at 11:23 and my bag was already sitting out, I did not check the salad while I was there and I know that now I should have before leaving. When I got back to work which is less than 10 mins away my macaroni was cold, I discovered that my baguette was burnt and hard, and my salad had red onions on it and was lacking greenery. Usually when I get the salad to go it is packed full and this container was hardly half full. The dressing was hardly enough for the half of a salad that I ordered. I was looking forward to using this order ahead option but with my experience at this location I do not think I will be going here again. Sadly disappointed with my lunch. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had with food. I took my son here who had been sick for days because the only thing he'll eat is the Mac & cheese. I ordered the turkey chili the ceaser CHICKEN salad and the turkey AVOCADO BLT sandwich. My sons noodles came and they were drenched in sauce and room temperature. He didn't bother eating it after 2 bites. My food was beyond disgusting and very bland. My chicken ceaser barely had dressing, no chicken or cheese; pretty sure I paid for a chicken ceaser. My sandwich said it had avocado but mine never had the avocado. The turkey was dripping from water. This sandwich looked like my 6 year old made it. I wrote a review on the panel email survey I received and was told I would be getting a phone call back, it is now a week later and still nothing so o figured I'd take my review public. Please people save your money and don't come here to eat! read more
