This was my first time at this location, and as expected, everything was very standard and exactly the same as every other Panera. The service was fast, we ordered on a kiosk and did not wait long at all for our food. With the self seating system, we sat at a table that was mostly clean, but had no issue with this. The food is always decently priced, but I wish the portions were a bit larger. I don't frequent Panera much anymore, because I believe they changed their mac & cheese recipe a few years ago. This used to be one of my favorite spots, but now the cheese has much less flavor in my opinion. 1. Service was bad I think there was maybe 4 ppl working, you put order on ipad and no beeper to be found 2. Prices are outrageous at least $25 for a meal 3. 20 minutes later when they finally bring you the food it's cold has hardly any cheese or vegetables on it and just not good at all 3. The sandwiches are delicious. The soup is great. Just wish the chicken noodle was not only broth when I go. Not many noodles or much chicken. Other soups are good and more hearty. The restaurants need some cleaning. Tables are normally dirty. Overall it's a good and healthier choice then fast food. read more

I'm patient and not particularly picky, however, after a ridiculously long wait in the drive thru (with only one car ahead of me), my $13 Italian Steak and Mozzarella sandwich was inedbile and my $3 brewed tea tasted like it had lavender in it. Haven't been to Panera Bread in a long time. Decided to try it for lunch today. Saw a "pick 2" menu with two sandwiches that looked good. ( My wife and myself were thinking we would each have 1/2 a sandwich and a cup of soup.) When we told the cashier we wanted the pick 2 with soup for each of us the total came to approximately $27.00. (The listed pick 2 price was $7.49.) After questioning the total and explaining what we thought pick 2 meant the cashier redid our order. We received two 1/2 sandwiches, and one bag of chips all on one plate. I ate my 1/2 sandwich over a napkin. The food was good. The steak sandwich was small for the price. First, I waited in the drive thru line for over 40 minutes. Management is absolutely horrible. they left a piece of paper on the drive thru order screen that was barely hanging on because it was raining outside, claiming they are 'short staffed', but when I got to the window you can see the managers just talking and on their phones. I ordered broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl with a baguette as the side. did not receive baguette and the soup was lukewarm. If they are short staffed as they say, they should close the drive thru line or close in general because no one wants to wait that long for mediocre food and service. A nice Saturday morning thought I'd take my girlfriend to Panera to have a good start to the day, and boy was I wrong. Absolutely horrible service. Got three food items: a bagel, a yogurt, and a sandwhich. Took 30 minutes for them to complete the order. We walked in and it wasn't busy at all, with just two other customers in the store. However when more customers showed up, our order got skipped, multiple times. When our food finally made it out of the kitchen it was all cold and unenjoyable to eat. If I wanted to be served like this I would have just gone to a dicks last resort. Hindsight of it all, McDonald's probably would've been a better option, not only are they fast but they serve warm food too. If you are looking to relax and have a nice brunch, go somewhere else! UPDATE: bagel was uncut, and I do not know what cement mix they use when baking the bagels, but the city of Lincoln could use it for fixing potholes. Bagel was uncuttable. Strawberry chicken salad without any chicken in it. Not one piece. The soup was chicken/rice soup. The soup was SO thick. I ordered food online - I especially love the grilled cheese sandwiches and the tomato soup. But the past 3 times I have ordered, they have been out of baguettes and several kinds of bagels. These are their signature baked goods and they always seem to be out of them - today they were even out at 3:00 pm. Also out of Mac and cheese a lot. @panerabread Let me start off by saying my co worker and I order Panera every single day. Often our orders are wrong, missing, cold or burnt but we still are loyal customers. Today is officially the end of our relationship with Panera. We ordered a fruit cup. A $3.19 fruit cup plus tax at that. We got our "fruit cup" just now and it's a DAMN apple in a cup. I'm beyond disappointed for multiple reason for one, it took more effort to place an apple in a cup over just grabbing mixed fruit that's portioned aside already in the cup. We contacted the manager and was told that we were cussing because apparently Damn is a cuss word. Which may not be wrong but it's no more wrong than this stupid cup or the managers poor attitude. COFFEE SNOB ALERT! I cannot believe I was charged more for iced coffee than hot coffee based on the way they prepared it. I was sitting at a table waiting for my order to be made. Then the employee walked over to the outside coffee counter with a cup of ice, filled it up with hot coffee, and handed it to me. What I got was diluted, luke warm coffee with a few melting pieces of ice floating at the top. I told him it was a problem that the drink was prepared this way and he just ended up walking away. Who doesn't have pre-chilled coffee to make iced coffee?!? If that is how Panera prepares this item, it should be taken off of the menu or have the name changed to "Barely Chilled, Watered Down Coffee." Placed an order for pick up, got an alert it was ready so I went to get it. There were no orders on the pick up shelf, and half the staff in the kitchen was just milling around. Several people were already there waiting for their food when I arrived, and said they had been there for some time. All in all it took an additional 20 minutes for my order (just two chicken sandwiches) to be prepared and even then I think it's only because I asked about it and it was suddenly ready to go, but was cold. I love the green goddess salad from Panera and get it almost every time I go.. the lady who took my order in the drive thru was such a sweet heart but whoever made this salad needs some help or possible more training. Everything was just kinda piled in the middle and buried under lettuce, When I opened it I didn't even think there was the usual egg, avocado, pickles onions etc etc on it because they were all buried lol. Also, I asked for extra dressing and Instead I got NO dressing at all, luckily I have some dressing at home but I really love the creamy avocado dressing that comes with this salad so that's a bummer. Not usually one to write bad reviews but I tried to call and talk to a manager but no one answered and it sent me to a fax machine.... So this has been my go to for quality salads soups etc since the pandemic. I have not written many reviews but find this place to be such a disappointment. Getting food from here has not been easy. Each time my husband and I use the app for curbside or stopping in to pick up, it is pretty much a disaster. We are consistently forgotten. Today I watched the drive thru as I waited to pick up salad curbside. When they forgot again, I couldn't get thru on the phone. This was before 11:30 am so not a rush. Completely messed up our entire order. I ordered the pick two with the bacon turkey sandwich as well as the Cesar salad. I got a chicken, bacon, and cheese sandwich with no sauce... my friend ordered a turkey sandwich with just tomatoes and she got chicken, Mayo, tomatoes, and lettuce. I have been going to Panera for years, and I used to cater a lot from them but my most recent catering order left me not very happy. Here is why: if I buy 5 Turkey Sandwiches at $6.99, that total should be about $35. However, if I order their Via Panera Catering, they sell me 10 half turkey sandwiches, which is the same as 5 whole sandwiches, for $49.99. They basically charge me an extra $15 for the 'privilege' of catering and them splitting the sandwiches in half and wrapping them in half. Same amount of food, its just packaged differently. I do like their sandwich options, but not this price issues I cater from a lot of different places, and the bulk of restaurants offer you a discount if you order in bulk, but not Panera. They actually charge me extra for my order. Now, I will say I spoke to their catering specialist and they told me I could go ahead and order the food a la carte, but come on. I shouldn't have to worry about ordering a certain way to get my food. I also find their soups to be a bit flavorless and watered down. The chicken noodle is all broth and the noodles are mushy. The French onion is pretty good, as is the chicken and wild rice, but again, they are a bit flat. Zoup! is much better if you want soup for lunch. They do shine on breakfast, so I will give them a star for that. Their bagel packs, coffee, and breakfast sandwiches are fairly good. Oh well, there are other options in town, and I will just vote with my wallet. I like Zoup, CBerrys, Qdoba, Chipotle, Noodles, Panda Express, and Raising Canes much better for catering, among others. I stick with catering breakfast from Panera and skip the lunch. read more

Granted, their prices are a bit high for what you get, but the food is well-made and presented nicely so I don't have a problem spending money here. The food was always wonderful, and I really love the atmosphere for studying or catching up with friends. Staff is friendly and helpful. However, I brought my family here last week for lunch. We were sitting in a smaller room towards the back of the seating area. During the middle of our lunch, an employee came in and informed all of us in that room that we needed to leave, that the room was being a used for a meeting, then left the room. Two older ladies next to our table required help moving out the room, and my sister and I helped, as there was no employee to be found for helping find tables and moving food and people mid lunch. To start off I am very satisfied with the fact that Panera sells whole loads of baggets. That's being said I am VERY dissappointed with my service and food my last trip to the restraunt. I sat in the drive through for a solid 20 minutes and when I got my food and got home the steak on my steak and white cheddar panini was bloody, I've gotten this sandwich before and liked it but very disappointed as I like steak a little bloody and this was even to much for me. Ah Panera Bread. The foods a bit expensive, but it's a bit understandable considering that ur buying 4 quality. A high end fast food restaurant, similar to olive garden; if ur looking for high end food, panera is not for u. The employees for the most part are nice and kind.
