I've been coming to this location for years. I really enjoy the sort of secluded alcove they have in the back. I enjoy coming here every so often to drink coffee, listen to music and do some writing. The staff here is friendly and it's great you can get refills of coffee for free. read more

I'm a SipClub member because it's a good deal for me, and I can make my own coffee/tea. But ordering actual food is often a big disappointment at the Marlton store. Tonight, I ordered two chicken Frontega sandwiches and an ice tea for takeout. After waiting close to 25 minutes, I get my order. When I get home, I find one correctly made sandwich and the other had only lettuce, tomato and pesto sauce (which is not even another actual sandwich on the menu). The chicken Frontega does not come with lettuce or pesto, so they didn't even get another sandwich done correctly. I would've gone back but did want 20 minutes of driving plus another 20-25 minutes for them to make one sandwich. Again, disappointing but not a rarity by any means. read more

Ordered my regular 1/2 soup 1/2 Italian The kiosk ( no people) say they are out of that bread. They suggest sourdough so I was like ya. Ok. I go to pick it up and it's thus tiny little sandwich. Finally went inside since COVID to have Panera last week. I also got to try something new! It was pretty busy so it made me kind of nervous trying to find a place to seat. We ended up sitting in the back corner and felt better when we saw the tables next to us were "blocked off". You can only sit at every other table (or something like that) so they are definitely social distancing! This time around, I got some new things! I got pick two with the green goddess cobb salad with chicken and the roasted turkey/avocado BLT. I've yet to have this sandwich and it was delicious! This particular Panera location is pretty much just the same as any other. Parking in The Promenade can be an experience, but this location is fairly close to my work. The line is usually long here at lunch time, but it moves along. The staff members are always friendly, and I use my "My Panera" card which can have some small perks and discounts. At times it can be hard to find a seat inside, so my wife and I often stake out my place while we are waiting for our meals to be prepared, saving our seats with our waters or coats. In the spring and summer, there is some limited outdoor seating. As far as Panera in general, it is a step up from a quasi-fast food chain, their menu is fairly diverse and I feel as though the food is comparatively healthy. I do feel Panera is a little pricey for what you get. For example, a 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich and vegetarian creamy tomato soup is over $8.00 with tax and that is without a drink. Panera does give you a piece of bread, chips or an apple. All in all Panera's are consistent, fast and clean and the food is pretty decent. read more

If I could give -1000 stars to Panera bread I certainly would. I have never, and I mean ever, received an order that was 100% accurate. The only reason I purchase anything here is because my kids like their soups. So I placed an online order for a bunch of soups and a sandwich. The order came to about 30 bucks. My daughter drove out and picked up the order, only to find that the soups were incorrect. The receipt stapled to my bag showed exactly what was supposed to be in the bag, however, I guess reading is not a requirement at the marlton location. If I had a nickel for every time they screwed up my order, I would have a whole Lotta Nickles. They didn't even give us utensils. I have visited this Panera Bread on approximately three occasions, and each time my order has been incorrect. The last experience was the kicker. The Fuji Chicken Salad I ordered had no chicken in it. I got my salad home, opened it up with ravenous anticipation, only to realize that there was no chicken. To make matters worse, there were about 60 pieces of red onion in the salad. "Would you like some lettuce with your onions?" I enjoy onions, but I'd rather not endure an afternoon of heartburn from eating dozens of pieces of them. Worse yet, it was my damn birthday. Talk about disappointment! And why was the baguette as hard as a rock at 12:00 PM? Panera Bread in general has always been a place of consistency for me. Fresh salads, hot soups, and you can rest-assured knowing that your order is correct. Nowadays, the only consistent aspect of Panera is that something will go awry with even the simplest order. We stopped in for a quick desert on our way to the movies. We always enjoy the food at Panera. The service was a bit slow so we used the convenient self serve tablets at the front of the restaurant. This is a typical Panera. The only difference was the strong odor coming from the restroom area in the back of the restaurant. Listen to the other reviews -- this place is bad. Every time I order something, it's missing ingredients or just completely wrong. That's not an exaggeration. In fact a month ago I ordered 4 meals and all four meals had something missing. I was missing wonton strips on a salad, cheese and croutons on my French onion soup, an apple, and bread. Once I ordered the Fuji Apple Chicken salad and they forgot the two main ingredients -- chicken and apples! They frequently forget to give you bread, and the other half of the time they're out of bread. How can you call yourselves Panera Bread if you're always out of bread? I'm really unsure why a manager stands at the counter and supposedly "checks" the to go orders, because if that was the case they would be catching these errors. The option to order on the little tablets up front is nice for me because I usually take a few extra minutes to decide what I want and I can order, scroll around and not hold up the line. If you're looking for power to plug in and charge your devices, there are 4 tables spread out throughout the place that are near power, so it is a little less than convenient. It seems like they could give the interior some additional renovations to brighten it up and make it a little more power, as well as comfortable seating for working professionals who need to recharge and grab a bite as well. read more

I usually enjoy Panera but this one was so sub-par. It was actually pretty surprising. I was there with my girlfriend and little cousin. We all got "You Pick Two" with different soups and salads. First, they did not ask what side we wanted and assumed that we all wanted rolls. We wanted apples, but no big deal. They switched it after we waited for awhile during a relatively light crowd. I usually love Panera, but this location is a mess. I usually order online and use rapid pickup. About 3 times now I've ordered online and they totally left things out or subbed ingredients that I didn't ask for without contacting me. I ordered a barbecue chicken flatbread and got it on wheat bread... was charged for a cookie once and did not get it. This is usually around 6pm for reference. Anytime I've eaten in, it's been okay for the most part. He put me on hold for 10 minutes and never came back to the phone. I hung up and someone else answered stating the manager told them to take care of it. The lady on the phone had the audacity to say that the exterminator had left hours ago and stated they didn't have any bugs. She insisted that people confuse their bacon for being a bug. I don't think I've ever left a Panera unhappy. I frequent this location since it is closest to home. The last time that I came in, I order a bacon grilled cheese, mac and cheese and a beverage. The cashier must not have heard me when I ordered my beverage so she did not give me one. She was super polite and I was actually given a free drink. My food was great as always! I like this location because it is clean, they're fast, and my order is always right. They also have clam chowder every Friday, which is my favorite. read more

A colleague of mine prdered a huge cookie and brownie tray from Panera for an office event and the cookies (HUGE - and about 450 calories a piece) were delicious. This particular Panera location is just as good as any other. While parking in The Promenade can be a pain, it's worth it for an otherwise convenient lunch. The line is usually long here at lunch time, but with every register manned, and bakery workers even taking orders when there is no bakery line, it is extremely fast moving. The staff members are always friendly, return my "thank yous" with "your welcomes" and are always on the ball with my special requests (i.e. ordering a salad without the chicken, etc.). In the winter it can be hard to find a seat inside, so I'll often stake out my place while I'm waiting for my meal to be prepared, saving my seat with a book or something. In the summer, there is outdoor seating. As far as Panera in general, I love this restaurant because for a quasi-fast food chain, their menu is quite diverse in type of food and healthfulness. Their salads are actually healthy, unlike some places that sneak in the high calorie dressing. On the other hand, if I really feel like going off the wagon one day, I can get a bowl of mac n cheese and a danish. A great, cozy chain place for those who don't mind serving themselves. As the weather gets colder, their signature soups in their sourdough bread bowls sound like just what the doctor ordered. I haven't been in here in a while, and I was asked for my Panera member's card to swipe on the POS, which notified the cashier that I get a free birthday pastry of my choice. Awesome. Peak times or not, expect to wait for even the smallest order at the production line, simply because the franchise's way of serving is "first come, first serve". It is odd, but it isn't the end of the world, either. BTW, Fridays/Saturdays (more so on Saturday) are when couples, high schoolers & college students typically dine there, while Sundays are when families with little children go. Being from the Midwest, my spouse and I have been to several Panera Bread restaurants. All Panera's we've visited outside of this place were always clean and displayed fresh bagels and pastries. I was shocked when we entered this location. Hardly any pastries in the display, behind the counters looked messy with stuff all over the floor like it hadn't been swept all day. At 1:20 food still had not arrived I called and the location stated oh it is right here and our driver is getting ready to deliver now. I then got the message that the food was out for delivery. then at 1:31 a message that food had arrived. well it is now 2:01 pm and I still have not received my delivery. tried calling customer service and have now been on hold for 15 minutes.
