    Bacon Double Take
    Rod M.

The Bacon Double Take breakfast sandwich has loads of flavor from the extra bacon, pepper focaccia, American and provolone cheeses. The only criticism: American cheese added a flavor profile reminiscent of cheeseburgers from the non-cheese American cheese.

Rotten lettuce Greek salad Panera bread

Got takeout on 10/2/22 and this is what we were served. Rotten lettuce and a spoonful of Mac and cheese on the Mac and cheese sandwich. They need new staff. This kind of food should never be served to a customer and we paid $50!

Overflowing garbage. Are you kidding me??
    Stephanie S.

I am always unhappy with my decision to go to this Panera. First off, I love panera. I eat healthy and you can't beat their salad and even the drinks are awesome. But the monroeville Panera is always dirty. I've attached a picture of the overflowing garbage. This isn't a cheap place to go, they should have someone sweeping the floors, changing out the garbage bags etc. And the tables...they all needed to be wiped. It's been this way at the monroeville Panera for a couple years. They keep redesigning it but they have to do something about the cleanliness.

The new bagels are so bad! Doughy...you can tell they are frozen. Used to be my favorite bagel place!

It's a small little deli/cafe in Export, PA. Although it's not completely rennovated, it is clean and welcoming. I especially liked the gas burning stove in the seating area. It kept us nice and warm during these cold winter visits. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We ordered at the counter and they served us when our food was ready at one of their many tables. We've ordered many of their sandwiches. They are overflowing with meat and cheese and served on thick sliced bread. They are made to order with freshly sliced meat (right out of their deli case). My daughters ordered a small pizza. It was hot, cheesy, and delicious. (Their words, not mine!) In addition to sandwiches, they have homemade soups. We've tried the chili, stuffed pepper, and wedding soup. They were all very tasty with good stuff in every spoonful. One of the things we like best about J & M Export Deli is they sell Boar's Head lunch meat by the pound. We've gone home each time with various meats and cheeses that were very fresh and lasted all week for lunches. The price was at least $2 cheaper than the grocery store, too! I highly recommend visiting during the week or on Saturdays for an inexpensive, fresh, and delicious meal. You will not regret it and will go back every chance you get!

The chipotle mayo is so flavorful and has a healthy dose of spice! They have many sandwich options and they all look so tasty. I can't wait to go again! The bread (we had the hoagie bread) had a fantastic flavor and wasn't too bready- which is key to a good hoagie. Inside is on the smaller side and definitely an eat and go kind of place. They do have some outdoor seating which I would maybe prefer or to go would be great too! Bonus for it being along the bike trail!

Haven't been here for several years but our group thought it would be a nice place to go for good food and conversation. The restaurant is pleasantly themed with its Italian roots. The menu allows for many differing tastes including sauce choices. I especially liked the sweet red pasta sauce. It's an area favorite and worth driving a few miles. Lots of parking but a bit hard to see as it is tucked into a row of store fronts behind Eat'n Park.

I got to try the Sfogliatelle, vodka pasta, salad, and bread. I just live when places like this give bread, and high quality bread at that. Super soft and high quality. Add ons like that do really elevate the experience. And a solid side salad as well, with plenty of cheese but not very varied vegetable wise. The pasta itself was amazing. Very generous portion. A good amount of sauce, although not super evenly distributed. Perfect pasta and a really good, balanced vodka sauce. Really enjoyed this. The Sfogliatelle, it was my first time trying anything like this. It wasn't super sweet or all that flavorful at all, and was somewhat small. A bit lemony. Not sure if I'd have it again, but I loved the little crunchy sides and it was still pretty good. Overall, definitely a hidden gem in Murrysville. Loved the spot.

It is great to have a place that serves upscale food but isn't stuffy and pretentious. Service is always friendly and efficient. I love that they have a rotating seasonal menu. Got a Pinot noir wine and waters Starter=soup of the day: tomato w/ chickpea and chorizo- bold tomato flavor and lots of arugula in it. Not so much chorio but flavor was very good, not overly salty. 10/10 After the soup we put our nit-picking goggles on as we knew this was a pretty sophisticated meal. Daily special- pan seared mahi mahi with asparagus fennel kohlabi and arugula salad citrus buerre Blanc. Light citrus flavor is found thru the mahi mahi, its sauce and the salad. Very congruent. Asparagus was a neutral addition. Not flowing with or against the mahi. Fish was cooked well. Just lots of raw red onion on the salad was a little overpowering. 7/10 Red wine braised short rib- didn't ask how well done, so seems chefs choice. We have a preference towards med rare. This was cooked well done making it a tad tough-stringy. Mashed potatoes with some larger pieces of potato, but very neutral plain flavor, great with the beef sauce. Carrots cooked well, just neutral, natural flavor. Overall a very classic flavor combo that works.7/10. Would stop by again to try more dishes. Ps- when paying we noticed final bill to sign was more than first bill at table. When we asked why the difference we were told it's the credit card fee of $3. This was really the first time I've seen this at a restaurant, yet alone at a decent place like one. Would have been best for them to tell us this upfront.

The interior has an overall modern feel and tables are well spaced out so you don't feel overcrowded. Portions are generally really large (which is great, because food is pretty pricey). I've been able to make two or three meals out of one entree here. Overall, service is pretty good but can be hit or miss. There was one day that I think they must have been having an off night because everyone seemed crazy stressed and very short with us when questions were asked. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the side salad was. It was a great balance/mix of ingredients with delicious dressing. My main entree (Strozzapretti) was tasty but a bit seemed like there was a bit too much grease/oil or something that made the dish seem heavier than it needed to be.
