We prefer diners and have traveled the USA full time for over 20 years. Dick's Diner is the absolute best! We have been eating there at least three times a week for over a year. We have had both breakfast and lunch. Everything has been delicious. The entire staff is the friendliest we've ever run across. Deanna and Mike Law

My husband and I stopped this morning on a whim and we had the best experience! I've been talking about it all day. The service was quick and our server was friendly (I wish I could remember names). The food was amazing - we both got the country breakfast. The scrambled eggs were a bit off to me but everything else made up for it. My husband liked them and I'm pregnant so could just be me. On top of the amazing service and food, the overall feel of the place was just right. It's a classic diner but without the crusty outdated fixtures and booths - everything was updated and most importantly, clean. If we didn't live so far this would become a regular spot for us!

Great breakfast spot. Newly renovated. Been there since 1946 so obviously they're doing it right. A traditional diner atmosphere. Everything I've eaten has been great. Service was excellent. Very clean restaurant. Fresh baked pies are simply mouthwatering! Always seems busy but the food comes out in a timely manner. Highly recommend! I prefer the small family owned restaurants over the large corporate chains. You won't be disappointed. Bon appetit!

I can't believe it's taken us this long to try this place! I love a diner, and this one hits all the marks. Classic breakfast options and everything is cooked to perfection. And the PORTIONS!! You won't leave hungry. Service was spectacular and everyone was delightful. I love a classic diner and this place means just that. We had a fantastic breakfast to start our Sunday. Cannot wait to come back here more for breakfast, and also try their lunch/dinner options!

AMAZING! This restaurant speaks for itself! Jam packed with customers and the delicious smells of fresh baked pies and breakfast. There is a handicap ramp for people with disabilities. There are 2 seating areas. A breakfast counter seats 8, and a few tables when you first walk in. The dining room was very classy. 1/2 booths and tables with chairs. Big sceen TV .The waitress Melissa, was whole heartedly, with a great personality. Our food was spot on and delicious! Decent prices for the size servings. There is an upcharge for using a card. It is a place I reccomend and will go there againI

Yelp recommends considering 3 key things when reviewing a dining experience. Food, Service, Ambiance. Based on today's visit, the diner did not have any of these 3 key items to boast about. We heard lots of grumbling around us, so we did not feel alone in our disappointment with the experience. Since we are not one of the regular customers, we just assumed what was featured on the menu was available. Turns out, oatmeal is not an option on the weekend. We were also encouraged/ guilted into ordering the breakfast buffet and since we chose not to, we had to cross our fingers that our breakfast order would be accepted at 10:00 am on a Saturday. Still trying to figure this one out. Our server was a little gruff but we were able to go with it. It appears we were at her mercy to complete our meal so we had no choice in the matter. Food ordered was OK. I was hoping for better quality with the new ownership, but I am not feeling it . It does appear as though they streamlined the menu. Perhaps if I feel like stopping again, I will not come for a weekend breakfast.

It started in 1946 I believe. My father went there as a teen and became friends with Dick before he died. Dick started it for a family dinner and did he ever!

We called around noon, and they made us a 2:30pm reservation. We arrived a bit early so my husband and I could order coffees, and we bought a baked good for my children (ages 4 and 6). I think some might be caught off guard by the macchiato at this cafe, but they are true to Italian size and style (says the prior northern Italy resident). My husband ordered a double and had them add the bourbon caramel flavoring to it (not true to Italian style - ha!). He said he really liked it, and I enjoyed teasing him with a little "pinkies up!" call out when taking his photo. I ordered a decaf Americano (boring, I know) and also enjoyed it. Our children split a chocolate chip scone. There were a variety of muffins to choose from, croissants, and gluten-free items as well. Soon, it was time for our painting reservation. I have to say, everyone we interacted with was patient, helpful, and kind. They each seem to enjoy their job. They came around the tables often to ask if we need anything, and would bring additional paint or offer help and advice when needed. There is a nice variety of ceramics to choose from for painting as well. All in all, we very much enjoyed our visit and would certainly go back again! I was thinking it could be a fun outing for a Girl Scout troop or any kind of club or organization. You could go and paint ornaments, which are affordable and easy to do. I may have to pass that idea past our Girl Scout troop's leader. :)

They have a huge selection of items to paint and prices and pieces range from around $8 to up to $80. You pick your piece and paint colors and then go to work. To get the true color you need three coats, so it can tale awhile. But it is a really fun experience and the staff is really helpful. They fire your piece and you come back to pick it up in a week or two. Great for something to do with the kids, a date, time with friends or even a fun solo activity.

This is a great place for coffee, specialty drinks, breakfast or lunch…read more I have been here numerous times and always had a good (and tasty) experience. When you walk in, it has a warm, inviting vibe. There are a variety of tables and seating options (including some couch and comfy chair type seating). You order by going up to the counter, and they either call your order or will bring it to your table when it is done if you are eating it there. One down side is that there is a fairly large menu and it isn't always easy to find/see all of the options when you are waiting to order. My daughter saw someone got a bubble tea but at the time we were looking, that menu wasn't easy to spot so we didn't even know it was something they offered! All of their food items are made to order (well, I suppose except for the soup which is home made and just dished out to order). They even have soup flights on certain days! I need to go back and try that because every soup I've ever had here has been delicious. They have the standard coffee menu but also always have some unique and quirky seasonal options. They also have smoothies, bubble teas and some other unique creations. They have tasty breakfast and lunch sandwiches, breakfast scrambles, mac and cheese and a variety of sandwiches. You can easily customize your meals and the staff is great about providing recommendations. It can take awhile to get your food/drinks, but that is because everything is made to order. A fun and tasty place for a bite to eat or a sweet treat!

The baristas were incredibly friendly, kind, engaging, and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. While the staff was friendly, the owner didn't come across as friendly, which changed the vibe a little. I ordered two coffees and a matcha, and unfortunately all three drinks tasted more like watered down milk, than actual coffee or matcha. The coffee-to-ice-to-milk ratio is way way off, and the flavor just didn't come through for any of the drinks. I'll also say, the sign claiming "The world's best canned Matcha" set the bar high... and it absolutely didn't deliver. That's a huge reach. I tried the croffle flight as well. Again, it looked great in pictures, but for $20, it was...meh......just okay. Not horrible, just not something I'd go out of my way for again. Overall, if you're going here for aesthetics and photo ops, this place nails it. But if you actually care about how your coffee or matcha tastes, you will likely leave disappointed. As a trusted Yelp Elite Member, this is not a business I could or would recommend.

They have a good bit of seating inside and the back has a garage door that opens out to the woods, which is really pretty. They had a lot of great offerings, including some seasonal beverages. They told me that they were pretty sweet, so I decided to do half sweet. Which I think was a good choice. I ordered one of the special cold brews they had and it came in a closed can which I thought was interesting. I can see why it cost $9 now because of packaging. With ice on the inside it's not like I could go home and put in the fridge, it would get watered down. So it has to be drank right away, so the can is waste in my opinion. Overall, I thought the coffee had potential, but this particular drink was not it for me. I found so many chunks of whatever they put inside and I don't like to chew my coffee. It was like chewing coconut shreds. The coffee itself, I think it had a good flavor, but I couldn't tell completely given the overall experience. I would try it again, but honestly, with this price point, I wouldn't be going out of my way unless it's local to me.

We happened to be in Monroeville picking up a Christmas gift when I fired up Yelp and noticed there was an Aroma Joe's nearby. While we had not been to this specific location, we have visited the one in Greensburg a couple of times, so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. This Aroma Joe's location only offers a drive thru and a walk up window. Since it was cold on the day we were there, we chose the drive thru. After looking over the menu, I decided on a hot Paris Toast latte, while my wife went with an iced peppermint latte. The menu describes the Paris Toast latte as having flavors of maple, brown sugar cinnamon, and shortbread. From the time we ordered until we received our drinks took about five minutes, so the staff here was definitely efficient. My coffee ended up being good. The flavorings came through nicely without hiding the coffee itself. The espresso also had a strong flavor, although it did leave my mouth feeling a bit dry for whatever reason. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our coffees, so why not.

I drove past this place for ages and finally tried it for the first time this fall. The first thing I tried was the loaded tender fries combo. I love this type of dish and I wasn't disappointed. Everything had great flavor and it was filling for the price. I ordered my husband a chicken sandwich and he said he enjoyed it but that the meat was a little bit dry. It took awhile for the meal to be made, but it was nice because everything was made fresh to order. On another visit I was picking up food on the way to somewhere else so I was in a bit of a rush. I pre-ordered for a set time and when I got there, they hadn't even started preparing the order. It was frustrating because there was a reason I ordered for a specific time. One other time, the order was ready at the pick up time specified but I was glad I checked before leaving because we were missing two items. They gladly and easily fixed the issue, but it was frustrating that they didn't double check. One thing to note is that their bathroom is on a lower level, so if you have mobility issues, you might not be able to access the restroom while you are there. Check their facebook page and online for coupons. They often have buy one get ones on chicken tenders and often have daily specials that save a decent amount.

I got to try out their mild chicken sandwich with pickles. The sandwich was alright. The pickles made the sandwich somewhat soggy but it was still decent in flavor. The bread is kind of wimpy as well. The chicken itself, though was good. Well cooked (also kind of soggy due to the pickles though). Not a ton of flavor, but not bad. The main selling point of this place, I think, is the price. The sandwich was just $5. That's fast food restaurant kind of prices from a local shop, which is really nice. It is a decent sandwich, and a great price. All in all, a fine chicken place. I would come here if I want some cheap and quick food, not anything too special.
