I wanted a new ham croissant Benny, but couldn't get it because it was too late in a day. The ad says "breakfast ", but didn't say it wasn't available after a certain time. I am disabled and so I sent somebody up to get it and they got me something else. It is not their fault, it is yours. If you would have said not available after a certain time, I would not have ordered it. I am very disappointed and not happy with your chicken sandwich which I would have never gotten. Panera is not on the top of my list for choices but it is definitely not even on the list at all now thanks to this location. We placed a mobile order on the way to a volleyball game for one of the kids. Picked it up and made our way to the game. On our way to the game passing out the food we noticed a sandwich had been left completely out. We called the location to inform them and see about getting the refund. The sandwich was still sitting there and they refused to refund the purchase unless we came back into the location. My daughter was looking forward to that sandwich before her first JV game and Panera let her down. read more

The notification method used for in-store dining doesn't work (because staff can't either hear, write, or read). Ingredients frequently don't make it to the plate. The Panera Bread is quickly becoming the go to place for meetings in the Palm city area for me. I have been to this location on multiple occasions and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. Usually with franchise locations usually the food and service is touch and go but this Panera location owner takes great care of their customers and makes sure that all employees are on point. I usually get the tuna salad and tomato soup as my pick two and the food is always on point along with the great customer service. This location is a little bigger and open than most Panera locations and they have lots of seating available so you don't feel cramped at lunch time and can relax and enjoy the food. 5 stars all the way for this location keep up the good work. read more

Panera is just ok in my opinion. I like that they have so many healthy choices available. I do believe eating there is much better than picking up food to take out. I do think their breakfast soufflés are very good. This Panera is much better than the one in South Stuart as far as customer service. I called a large order in last night, Tammy (I think that is her name) took my order and said I could pick it up at 11:15. They had my order all ready and even walked it to the car for me. Both young ladies I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I get to the car and count. Uh oh missing items. I go back in they look surprised but then realize they forgot a salad and the lemonade tote. They say sorry and get it together for me. I have ordered the pick 2 for everyone else. I ordered the Green Goddess salad for myself.. why just salad? Because this salad looked really good, I have to goals to drop lbs (hence no bread other than the aroma), and thirdly because avocados are life. So finally I sit down to enjoy my salad and my fork cannot penetrate the avocado! Agghhh! Rock hard avocados (well about 1/2 avocado with the salad). To some it may not matter but to me the avocado is the climax of my salad. Disappointing. C'mon Panera don't you have the means to put ripe or almost ripe avocados in salads. I would not have ordered this had I been told that there avocados were basically inedible. The tomato mozzarella panini had three little pieces of mozzarella, each about the size of a postage stamp. Seriously, I could fit more cheese than that on a cracker. I have been eating at the Palm City store for years. Their staff have always been nice in the past. The quality of food can be inconsistent because they hire many teenagers and don't always have an adult managing the store. However, the nice staff seems to have disappeared. I have a medical condition that exempts me from wearing a mask, which is discussed in my doctor's letter. I was told today by the manager, " We do not accept medical exemptions." They did not make any other offers to serve me in any other way, so I left. Their Covid-19 update statement on the yelp page does not mention anything about mask requirements or how they handle mask exemptions. This is the second time that this has happened to me in two different stores. Several months ago, the manager of the Stuart store responded to my simple statement of, "I have a medical exemption" and I described why, the manager was nasty and said "This is my store and these are my rules". Twice, I was refused any service because I cannot wear a mask, treated poorly by the managers and no other accommodations were offered. I will not be returning to any Panera in the future. read more

FYI I am adding this review from over a year ago as it was never added to yelp, only in Google review. Hopefully by now they have changed. If I could rate this store a 0 I would. Every time within the past month they have managed to screw up my order and/or miss something! Tonight, ordered 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, 2 cookies, 2 soups (pattern? yes, meal for me and my wife). I come home to see we are missing a grilled cheese. I call them and she says "no I only rang you up for one", why would I ordered 1 sandwich and 2 of everything else!? I said it twice to her and she even confirmed. A week ago I ordered almost the same thing but received no chips/bread as sides. I had to call the manager back to tell her what happened and she said to come back and she will give me the sides. Luckily I live close by and was able to do so and she did apologize for the mistake. Earlier in the month I asked for extra sides (knowing I had to pay extra, which was not a problem to me) and when I got home I noticed I did not have ANY sides, even the ones that are to be included with the meal and by this time it was already past closing. I called anyways and no answer. I called the next day to talk to a manager and the "girl" who answered said "well the manager is busy so you'll just have to call back whenever". Seriously? That's the attitude you have. I wish I knew the name of the girl that answered the phone like that because I bet she is no longer working there! I had lunch yesterday at Panera in Palm City. I ordered what was described as a roast turkey, cheddar and apple sandwich. It was disgraceful. The sandwich consisted of little pieces of turkey, a small slice of cheddar and what looked like coleslaw with tiny, tiny pieces of apple in it. When I saw it, I asked if that had cream "anything" in and was told no. Besides the fact that the sandwich just leaked the ingredients when I picked it up, it was terrible tasting and obviously had some dairy in it. That cost me a terrible problem this morning. I think if anything has mayonnaise cream yogurt or anything else like that in it you should let people now since many people have a Problem with Dairy. One of the most beautiful Panera's we liked to stop at for any road trips but service today made it the worst. I've never been disappointed in the staff. I took my mom in to get some coffee for the road. Our cashier michelle conveyed a clear discomfort at seeing us from a start and I wish to not assume their intentions, but from several looks in the restaurant I am saddened to see that people here don't seem very welcoming to anyone who doesn't look like them. During my mother's order, with her soft spoken voice, the cashier - instead of saying she couldn't hear what she said - mumbled something about not understanding my mother's language although she was clearly speaking english. The whole interaction was cold and disinterested. We made no significant ordeal about the situation in order to avoid disrupting the experience of others but clearly hurt, offended, and disappointed at the representation of staff we experience through her. Not happy for the stop here, Panera is usually good quality. One of my dining partners eats at Panera frequently and recommended we go here. They gave him the tiniest bit of cheese in his French onion soup, he said they give much more else where. He asked for more and was reluctantly given the finest bite more, not happy. They forgot the dressing in his salad as well and acted annoyed when he pointed it out. They'd forgotten it and gave him a little tub with some dressing. The salad was wilted and poor quality. The new Thai dumpling soup bowl for $8 plus was shown as a full bowl and the girl at the register told me it was a big bowl of soup when I asked but I was given a quarter of a bowl of broth. When I said something, lots of eye rolling, "We are only allowed to give one ladle of broth" followed by showing me the small ladle, snickering and comments when I walked away. I wasn't happy with the soup and do not recommend. It's also the end of the night. Why be so greedy? Another man there was loudly complaining about "poor customer service", "you all have a lot to learn" on the way way out the door. I have no idea if he was sticking up for us or he had problems with them if his own. They proceeded to laugh and mock him after he left. Extremely rude, it's as if this place is run by teenagers. We then heard about all the food they were getting rid of and how they were tossing it out. You keep your mini ladle of broth, Panera. We will not be coming back here. read more
