Ordered curbside pickup. Sat in my car 15 min PAST the delivery time. Finally decided to go go inside to see what the issue was; if they were busy I would have understood why there was a hold up. They were not busy. I asked an employee where my CURBSIDE pickup order was and she, unapologetically, showed me to a shelf where my melted frozen coffee and salad were sitting. I understand that people make mistakes and communication may have gotten mixed up; I didn't complain. I took my items, thanked the employee and left. Upon arriving home, I looked into my bag and discovered that the loaf of bread was just sitting there, unwrapped and clearly torn in half as if it had just been thrown in there. Once again, I wasn't upset (a bit perturbed and moderately disgusted because it seemed uncouth and therefore inedible, but I wasn't planning on eating it anyway so no harm done). What really got me was the fact that when I opened my Fuji APPLE salad there were no APPLES. Again, possibly a small issue. So I give them a call, no answer. Keep calling, no answer. No answer. No answer. At this point I'm debating whether I should return and talk to the manager, but I have a lot on my plate today and the location is out of my way...so here's a review on why I'm completely disappointed with this location. These may have been small issues, but small issues accumulate and at this point I'm pretty upset, particularly because I am unable to get in touch with a manager and will have to be ok with this half-a** service. I went into the store to pick up a wheat sandwich for my wife, who had called in the order. She was not told at the time that they were out of wheat bread. The sandwich was made wrong, and even included mayo when she specifically asked for mustard. This store has gone down the tubes. This is the second time this has happened to us, so we will no longer be giving them our business. They then offered me whole grain bread then turned around and said they were out of it too!!! We visit Panera Bread quite often because my daughter loves their pastries and I like their drinks. There is always a line and rarely do I see more than 1 cashier taking customer requests, while the rest of the staff hangs out in the back. We always order to go, but wait in the dining area and can hear the staff making inappropriate jokes and acting completely unprofessionally. As a native Missourian (Panera originates from St. Louis, y'all!) it kills me to leave this place a less than stellar review. I've visited this particular Panera location about a dozen times now. It's close to home, and I'm addicted to Panera's broccoli cheese soup. This location has been a disappointment almost every time. Here's what they do well: the baguette I get as a side to my meal is consistently the largest baguette serving I've gotten at any Panera, ever, and it's always tasty and fresh. The bread and pastry selection is good, and my food arrives quick. Here's the not so good: The parking is atrocious. If you go at lunch expect to circle the lot at least three times, and be ready to aggressively steal spots from other hapless lunch-goers. The service is nothing to brag about. Lines are often long, cashiers are friendly, but slow. And more than one time there have been entire registered closed because the cashiers messed up an order and the managers aren't available to help fix things. From my perspective they seem far understaffed during the lunch rush. The food is less than stellar. The soup, for example is never the same consistency twice. Overall, this place is a disappointment. I love Panera, and I'll still keep coming here to get my fix as this is the only Panera nearby, but I'm not impressed nor pleased. read more

Went to this location yesterday and it had been a while since I have eaten here. When my wife and I walked in I noticed that the bread section which is usually pretty full, was only about 25% stocked. Once we started to order my wife and I both got a pick 2 meal and once hers rang up it was over $17!!!! Mine rang in and we had a bill of over 35 dollars for only 2 meals. On top of that they didn't even have the correct bread for the sandwiches we ordered, so we were down graded to just plain white bread. Also when I ordered my side I asked for bread which I was told they were out of and had to go with chips instead... food was mediocre at best, and at the end of the meal I had some soup left over so I went to get a to-go container for the soup. As I walked up to the counter I could see a WHOLE pan of bread for the sides, which ibwas told they were out of! It was a very frustrating experience and I most likely won't be going back because there's a Jason's deli just as far away... and to top it off we got 2 Asiago cheese bagels and when they sliced them one side was paper thin and the other side was just a bottomless bagel... get it together Panera, you're better than this. If you're going to have the word bread branded into your name at least make sure you have bread in the store. read more

Sadly disappointed. We ordered and paid for our food online for quick pick up. When we got there, we were glad that we checked our order. My wife ordered a flatbread. When she checked, it was the ingredients of a flatbread...with regular sandwich bread. When she asked, she was told that they were out of flatbread. Panera, you have a phone number to reach us attached to the account we created online. Next time, use it to call your customers to let them know if their order can't be fulfilled according to their wishes. The order could have been changed, avoiding some disappointment. After that, it was noticed that the dessert cookies weren't placed with our order. Instead of checking, the manager began to argue with my wife that the cookies had been placed with the order and that they had already been picked up. When finally convinced that the cookies weren't in the bag, the manager rudely handed them across the counter and wanted to deal with us no longer. Fast service in the morning with not a lot of people which is good. Come in the morning for that morning cafe vibe. If you come during lunch hour, it's feels like any other lunch place. Usually, the array of baked goods is adequate, although it is best to arrive early in the day to get the best selection of baked breads and bagels. I enjoy the coffee selection, nothing gourmet mind you, but generally good for the price - if free refills were offered, I might give an extra star :) Best to avoid peak lunch hour and at times on weekends, as you may stand in line a bit. I love Panera's food but at this location the staff always seem sad and miserable. What really bothers me though is their constant neglect to actually put the customizable food items that I pay extra for into the meal. It has happened more often than not. When it's a rapid pickup, I'm not driving all the way back for the 0.50 pineapple that was left out of my salad. But when it happens so consistently, I start to think maybe that is the store's plan. 0.50-1.00 paid but not taken out of their till if done enough certainly adds up. I went in during my lunch break because they're normally quick about getting orders out. But there was a worker who brings the food out and puts orders together, who kept touching his mouth and his face without washing his hands and then would proceed to touch your food or togo orders. We were there for 30 minutes waiting on our food. My soup was sitting on the counter for about 10-15 minutes. Due to time constraint we decided to get the order togo Instead. The workers at the register were nice but the taller worker who was prepping the food was extremely rude when my boyfriend had asked for our order to go since we no longer had time to sit and eat. He politely asked if could please get our order togo instead if eating here and she said "You want it to go now?" so he politely responded with "Yes because my girlfriend has to get back work and no longer has time to sit and eat." She firmly said "FINE" and walked away. I never had issues with place until now and I don't think i'll go back anytime soon, if i do decide to go back. It wasn't worth it for the money i paid. Having worked at a Panera in Seattle for 4 years. I have high expectations for every location I go to. We entered were not greeted. The girl that was doing the phone in orders was having a conversation did not acknowledge us at all. I waited a few minutes before saying hello loud enough for someone to hear. She barely turned and said be with you in a moment and went back to her conversation. The There was already two families waiting behind me and my mom. In general, some of the more negative comments do have a lot of truth to them, HOWEVER, reasons why I am giving this location a 4 is as follows: I never eat here. I always want to grab it and eat at home. So... - Rapid pick up: always ready when I get there (usually means they put this together in 10 minutes). - Delivery: Freaking amazing! Usually gets to my house 10-15 minutes earlier than the expected time. First of all the cashier who took our order did a fantastic job (Cameron). Knew the menu really well, and could help us very smoothly. Their Blood Orange Lemonade is great, and Agave Lemonade. Men's and women's bathrooms are filthy. The Triple Chocolate Cookie I had was somewhat stale/burnt, but still it's a cookie and it was still good definitely wouldn't turn it down. The service of getting the food to the table was terrible. Our food sat up at the counter for like 7-10 min before they brought it to us. I had to ask if it was ready so we could get it. This was after I went and made sure i wasn't mistaken that it was ready. People who sat down quite a while after us go their food before. Their baguette was terrible one of the worst ones I've had. I ordered the pick 2, 1/2 of the turkey, apple, cheddar sandwich with a cup of black bean soup and an apple. I was initially excited by the new low calorie drink options. There was virtually no line to order (at noon) which was a nice surprise. When lunch arrived, the food runner was quick but pleasant. The sandwich was a little difficult to eat. The chicken was chopped up and kept falling out of the bottom of the sandwich. I was originally drawn to the "horseradish" in the description. The flavor was mild and underwhelming. I would really like to love this place. How can you go wrong with soup and sandwiches? I don't know, but Panera falls short every time. The food is not nearly as good as they would like it to be, and the service is meh. The only redeeming quality is their desserts. The shortbread cookies are amazing, and the pumpkin muffies are pretty amazing as well (and I don't like pumpkin!). However, the desserts are not enough to bump this place up any stars, they're actually the only star Panera Bread has to offer. Okay so I love Panera bread, always have. I used to go once or twice a week... This location is okay, the staff are nice, I always find parking and the place is clean. But today after visiting I noticed that my salad is not the same anymore (I've been here multiple times before). I ALWAYS get the same salad, at EVERY single Panera. The Thai salad is the only salad that I would ever get. This time, the peas and the carrots are missing and there wasn't even a lot of chicken and lettuce. I've been going to this location almost daily for a year because I work in the same strip center and the food has always been pretty good. But lately the food has been sloppy and rotten. I got a salad with bacon on it and the bacon was stuck together with some type of creamy goo. It was horrifying. Absolutely the most disgusting place I've ever eaten at. Every table in the restaurant was filthy and patrons were having to clean their own tables and wipe it down while employees stood around and played on their phones. I asked to speak to a manager and a woman came up to me in a t-shirt and a jacket that resembled nothing of a manager and did not seem to care. We eat here quite often and I love their bread bowls. I like to sit in the little booth toward the back around the corner from where you order but yesterday the seat was loose and when the worker lifted it to replace it it was filthy underneath with food dirt an crumbs. My first time ever stepping foot into a Panera Bread and it's my worst experience. It's starts off by me asking how is the Steak & egg breakfast sandwich which no one on the staff has tried. Not a big deal, but not helpful either. Instead I order a traditional bacon and egg brioche sandwich and a cafe latte thinking they can't mess this up. I go to the waiting area as they prepare my order. I grab my bag thinking ok where is my coffee.... well I assume they don't have a dedicated person to pour a cup so the lady from the register clearly didn't think of that tidbit and proceeded to take other orders only to find me staring at her wondering where is the rest of my order. I had to remind her of my order and wait from them to make my cafe latte. Ok I think I'm done but once I get to the car and open the bag I find that I don't have a bacon egg sandwich it's just an egg and cheese sandwich.....
