Panera Bread near Zaxby on 74S is hit or miss!!! It depends on who is on duty at the time. I decided to use the drive thru..,guess what no one came to intercom to take my order. I had to go to the window to order. The gentleman was apologetic. Their service is inconsistent! I ordered French onion soup, but it had no crotons and tiny bits of cheese. The sandwich was less than 1/2. The bread was toasted hard. I did not enjoy the food at all! What a waste of my time and money!!! Panera Bread you need to step up your game. I don't foresee my return any time soon. "Caveat Emptor"...buyer beware! Customer service needs to be consistent! Food needs an improvement. Whatever one pays for they should receive...not less!!! My morning started off pretty hectic as I was running late and needed to pick up breakfast for my boss and his son on the way into work. I placed my order and when I went to pick it up I realized I had placed it for pickup in downtown Atlanta! I pulled up to the drive thru window and asked for the manager at the location (Starrs Mill Panera in Peachtree City) and the Managers Michelle and Ashley jumped on it for me to get in touch with the Atlanta location and cancel my order and refund me as well. To my biggest surprise, Ashley redid my order and gave it to me within minutes at no charge. I just cried. What customer service she and Michelle had and turned my bad day into a wonderful day. I appreciate them both going over and beyond with superior customer service. They said, "its what we are supposed to do". That gesture made my day. Last time they got my order wrong. Thought I would give another try. I love their half salad and soup. Ordered on the app for window pickup. It was ready at 3:33 I got the text to up at the window I waited until 4:10. There were 2 cars ahead of me. When I finally got to the window I remarked how long it took and she closed the window. Today was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I placed an order and wait 1 hour before I ask when would the order be done. The manager an African American girl stated to a new young lady we haven't gotten to it and she can just wait. I asked how long it would be as I did not have another hour to wait she brushed me off and used profanity. I then asked for a refund she stated I will get to you when I can I am not doing that right now. I left and reported this to my bank to receive a refund I will never return here and this area we live in is so much about community this manager does not deserve to serve anyone with such a negative and disrespectful attitude. Ms. Sheryl and her team make our Panera our go to for any meal! Food is always perfect and i! The rare occurrence it's not they will do everything they can to make it right! Ms. Sheryl makes you feel like family and that is just a great bonus to being able to have a healthy meal for your family! I loved using Panera as my studying place for peaceful music, a clean space, great salad or soup, friendly faces. Have had issues in the past, but I finally have to post. I ordered the pick 2 today - broccoli cheese soup and half green goddess chicken cobb salad. The salad was just a sad looking thing like some little side salad from a fast-food restaurant. The mixed greens were missing (just romaine) and the one sad little piece if avocado had brown on it; hardly any chicken. Even from last year, it's obvious they are skimping on ingredients, but charging the same amount of money. The chicken seems to be something different. So numerous times now, I have stopped by this Panera and had my meal done incorrectly. On top of how long it takes to actually get your food, make sure you check it BEFORE you leave. This will be the last time I trust that they got it right. I ordered broccoli and cheddar Mac and cheese in a bread bowl with baguette. Along with a kids Mac and cheese with baguette. When I got home, to my surprise, I had plain broccoli and cheddar soup. Neither of our meals had baguette with it. 2 bags of chips. You can see on the receipt, the girl put chips after I specifically said baguette on both. They have you pull up before what you ordered before it pops up on the screen so you can't see if it's correct or not. But just know, it's usually incorrect. On top of all of this, this location typically takes no less than 10-15 minutes in the drive thru. Don't go here if you're in a hurry. read more

I just don't learn. I was very happy when they opened this Panera location. Unfortunately it needs some real TLC from the franchise owner. I have had poor experiences over and over. From several fruit flies circling around me while trying to eat in the restaurant, my food prepared poorly, poor service, and the inside dirty and unkept. All separate experiences. So today I thought, all I want is a soda, Diet Pepsi. I'll go through the drive through. I was the only one in line and it felt like it took an eternity. My medium Diet Pepsi cost $3.31 - that's my problem that I was willing to pay that. I finally get my drink, pull out to leave and take a sip. It was not a diet soda. Ugh. Now, usually I would have kept going, but for $3.31 I decided nope. I turn around, I go into the restaurant explain my situation, they say no problem pour it out and get the soda you want. Okay, there are two Diet Pepsi dispensers. I try the first, it comes out more clear than dark-clearly needs to be swapped out. I dump it out, let's try the second dispenser. Looks good. I go back to my car and leave. Take a drink and it is diet Dr. Pepper which was the dispenser next to the Diet Pepsi. Their lines are switched. Those of you who follow my reviews know that I am very fair when it comes to my evaluations of a business. I take many things into consideration including length of time the business has been open, time of day, cleanliness, bathrooms, parking, global pandemics, etc. With that being said... This Panera location is the worst restaurant I have visited in the Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Senoia, Griffin areas...ever. Since they have opened I have visited here 6 times and NOT ONCE have they ever completed more order correctly. The food has been mediocre and the coffee is ridiculously gross. The drive-thru is insanely slow. The employees that I have felt with give zero f**ks. Especially Derick who works the drive-thru on the weekends. I am done with them. I have been more than understanding and patient until now. I will say that the interior is usually clean. The bathrooms have been cleaned "ok" and the parking is usually fairly open. Look we love Panera. We're very glad this new one opened but...... last night a Saturday at 5, tables were dirty (a lot of them with hardly any customers)we had to get some napkins and water and clean our booth table top. Dishes were piled up near the exit door and Must have been there for quite a while because there was quite a few. There were only 5 customers in there including us (2). Looked to us like 2 female managers (I could be wrong) were in a booth close to the cashiers with their laptops and paperwork not really paying attention to what was going on. When we walked in the cashier said "welcome to Panera" yeah, it was a little loud since we were still at the front door but, one of the ladies in the Booth made a face or something because the cashier noticed she did this. Great skills mgmt person! Yes, we'll go back but come on, take some pride in your new restaurant. You've got plenty of employees that could be cleaning tables and taking trash out. read more

Don't order a bread bowl if you actually want some soup for your meal. They cut about a 2" hole that goes down about 3", so that's all the soup you get. Had to order another separate cup of soup to actually get some soup to pour in the bread bowl after widening it myself. read more

In general I love having a Panera nearby. Unfortunately I did the drive thru this morning for breakfast and ordered one of their egg, bacon, and cheese sandwiches. I waited a long time at the window and yet they did not get the egg cooked. Not only was the yolk runny, which is fine, but the white wasn't cooked either. Also, their curbside pickup is hit or miss. At times they run the food right out and at others, I wait for a long time. A couple of times I've had to go inside because they never brought it out. They need to seriously work on their consistency both with service and food preparation because this location has a lot of potential. read more

Worst Panera ever! I constantly get home with an online order to find that we are missing something! Today they checked off everything on the receipt but had NO Sides in the bag. When I went through the drive through I asked for a frozen caramel cold belted which the sign cleaarly said and also had a picture of. The lady proceeded to tell that they did not have this item even though it was clearly on the menu. When we pulled up to the window they gAve us a completely different drink and we told them it was the wrong thing and told them what it was supposed to be and showed the lady a picture of what it was supposed to be and she finally found it in the computer. She closed the window and then opened it and told me that I could keep the messed up drink but that they would need to charge us for the right oo was because it was a bit more expensive.
