I have visited the Avondale location. It is a bit dark and gloomy, smells like mildew and I always leave with a stuffy nose. I only opened with the to say that BY FAR, the Laveen Panera Bread is my favorite location. They greet EVERYONE, when you arrive, they offer to assist you even when you are at the self help kiosk. I rarely have a problem with the food or service. If I do, my girl Ricky corrects it immediately. The staff is always helpful, patient and accommodating. They also do not rush you out. They will bring your food to you, and ask if you need anything else as well as inquire if the food and service was to your liking. I love the stretch booth here as it has USB ports and also outlets. Many people can come enjoy a meal and study, or accomplish work. I have tried several salads, soups, pastries, and sandwiches. I have yet to try the wraps as they are relatively new. I have never been disappointed with the presentation or taste of my food. And I don't modify it. The restrooms are clean and stocked, and their rewards program is awesome. I love that you can stack an offer (randomly given the more you eat here) while redeeming your rewards points. Usually restaurants will let you use an offer or coupon, or a redeem a reward, but not simultaneously in one order. I recommend the mix and match or the You pick two. I often can order from either and split the cost with a coworker. You can choose from a plethora of salads, soups, sandwiches, or salads. If you haven't stopped by, you are missing out! I personally recommend the half portions. Unless you want lunch and dinner for two days. Portions are generous.

This location just opened in my neighborhood and I'm so happy because I'm a huge fan of Panara! I ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Greens w/ Grains salad and it was delicious! My only rant was this location was extremely slow! I ordered via the app and chose to pick up in the drive thru and I waited over 20 mins in line. There wasn't a way to get out of the drive thru as I was blocked in by other vehicles. Also, in place of the baguette, for my side I opted for the chips and they still gave me the baguette. Hopefully this is just due to them being new! The location was beautiful and clean! Overall it was a good experience!

Receipt put on food bag. Order Incorrectly taken. Wanted extra wontons, Not no wontons Unacceptable

I just want to say that I think that Panera intentionally screws up my order on purpose. 9 out of 10 times my order has been wrong and missing items. My wife enjoys the Asian salad. Unfortunately the salad is made wrong. The chicken is missing or the wontons are missing. I always ask for extra dressing because 1 isn't enough. Lately I've been ordering extra wontons. Today I ordered extra extra wontons and never received any. It says on the receipt that the cashier was Celeste and she wrote in extra asian vinaigrette and No Wontons. Why why why can't the orders get made correctly? This is getting to be to frequent. You will be losing business if this continues. Somebody needs to step up and train the staff. UNACCEPTABLE, AGAIN

Trash! Location and I love Panera Too long of a wait as kids are conversing rather than working. Not to mention the sandwich was a bit short in quality (see picture).

Can I just say how excited I am to have a Panera Bread in Laveen!?! I came here for the first time this evening and used the drive through service .... Very pleased! The young lady was clear, patient and professional. She made sure my order was correct, asked for my name and said thank you. There was a small but to long of a wait but it's drive through, that's expected. I get to the window and there were 2 friendly young ladies who were so polite and kind. One was taking the orders while the other one service the window. I got my food, smoked chicken bbq sandwich and chicken noodle soup . I came home and my food was still nice and warm and tasty! I will be a returning customer and am now going to sign up for their rewards. Thank you Panera Bread in Laveen

Love how there is a Panera Bread around this area! The location is fairly new and it's worth a try. I was satisfied was the dish I received. It hit the spot with my craving and the salad was delicious! Service was quick considering my friend and I went during the midday of a weekday. The place itself is clean and a bit spacious. Lots of bread display and tablets to ordered ahead. Will be returning here for sure!

Ordered online, picked up through drive through and my food was exactly the way I ordered it. Reasonably priced as well.

Even without reservations we were seated immediately. Water and menus were on the table in the blink of an eye. Our server, Josephina, was quick to take both drink and appetizer orders. I ordered some bread, not immediately realizing the difference, and should have ordered the focaccia. The martini that my wife ordered was, in her words, perfect. The Caesar Salad was the best I've had in quite a while. Just incredibly fresh greens, great dressing, grated cheese, and tasty croutons. I could have made a meal just from that. My wife ordered the Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and I had the Lasagna Bolognese. Neither is an unusually elegant dish but both were prepared perfectly. The house Chianti was so enjoyable that we ordered a bottle and enjoyed it throughout the meal. To finish off the experience we had an order of cannolis and they were delicious. Thanks to Josephina for such a great evening and we will be back to try the "Bottle & Bruschetta" they feature on Mondays and Tuesdays.

I felt like the texture of the gnocchi was amazing and I enjoyed the thickness of it. The pesto sauce was also great and my favorite parts had the bits of nuts in it. The shrimp arrabiata was good too with nonfishy seafood and not too spicy. The bread was perfect for dipping in the sauce but I wish we got a few more. There is a happy hour Monday through Friday from 3-5pm but there isn't much advertisement about it online or in-store. The happy hour menu is pretty small but includes the Shrimp Arrabiata (1/2lb or full lb), Cheese Pizza, Margherita Pizza, $2 off cocktails, and a few more items I forgot to take a picture of!! Our server was a friendly man with dark hair and an accent. He was super nice but we noticed that it would take us a long time to get something we needed, like the check. In his defense, we were chit chatting for a while and probably didn't look like we needed help or service. No hate, he was very kind with good intentions. The restaurant itself was cute and a little bit smaller, making it harder to walkin if it was a busier night. Overall great food and nice staff. If you're looking for authentic Italian, come here!

**July 2026: Saturday Night Visit**…read more My friend and I had been eating a lot of heavy food this summer and were really craving something healthy and nutritious. It was also pretty late on a Saturday night, so we wanted something fast and convenient, which led us to Flower Child. Flower Child is such a great fast-casual spot if you're looking for a lighter meal with bowls, salads, wraps, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options. It's especially nice if you want something veggie-forward or gluten-free. We decided to order the Turkey Cobb salad for $14.45 and a seasonal summer salad for $13.95, which had strawberries, heirloom tomato, watermelon, quinoa, marcona almonds, arugula, and balsamic dressing. We also added shrimp for $7.45 and got their housemade lemonades, which were really refreshing. The meal was exactly what we were looking for. My body definitely appreciated the nutrient-dense food, but it still felt light, which was perfect since we were eating so late. I'm definitely a fan!

Staff here is friendly, patient and helpful when someone who can't decide between all of the options is in front of them. :) I ordered "the rebel" French dip and loved every bite of it. I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

There are way more options and it's still really easy to get something healthy without spending a ton. I got the Chicken Protein Bowl XL with brown rice, avocado, sweet potatoes, pepperoncinis, a hard boiled egg and extra chicken. The portions were really good, especially for the price. You can't really tell from the picture, but there was an insane amount of chicken buried underneath the rice. I kept thinking I was almost done with the chicken and then finding more underneath which was definitely a nice surprise. Everything in the bowl tasted fresh and the chicken was probably my favorite part. I also liked how customizable everything was. There are enough different proteins and toppings that you could come here pretty often without having to get the same thing every time. I've also tried the lobster rolls here in the past. I thought those were pretty average, but definitely not bad considering the price. I'd probably stick with the bowls going forward though. I'm really happy to have another healthy fast food option around here, good portions, lots of protein, plenty of choices and the prices are actually reasonable.

That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.

Every bite felt so well balanced rich, fresh, and totally satisfying. We also grabbed a white macadamia cookie, and it was the cherry on top. Soft, buttery, and perfectly sweet seriously one of the best cookies I've had in a while. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was incredible. The girls working were so friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome. The space is small but super cute and cozy clean, inviting, and great for a casual meal.
