    Cobb Salad to go

My friends and I stopped by Angie's Prime Grill on a Sunday evening to pick up salads. I'm not familiar with Angie's, but they seem to be very prominent in Arizona. They had two ordering kiosks which were easy to use. We ordered our food to go but they do have a small dining area. All of their establishments are cashless. I ordered the Cobb Salad and made some modifications: I added chicken, subbed the blue cheese with feta, subbed the blue cheese dressing with Caesar, and did half spinach/half romaine for my base. When my total came to less than $7, I thought there was an error. I've never been to a salad restaurant where entrees were under $10. With that price, you would think the portion would be very small, but it was actually very large and filling! They put a decent amount of bacon in the salad which was tasty. There was plenty of dressing for the salad and I appreciated the fact that it was in a pouch. There's nothing worse than an overdressed salad. I see why my friends enjoy coming to Angie's Prime Grill. They offer quick, inexpensive meals with healthy(ish) options.

This is still a great place to get something to eat. You won't be disappointed. If you're in the area give them a try for time saving you can do your online order as well..

For what you pay, Angie's is hard to beat--few spots deliver this level of quality per dollar. The food is consistently fresh and priced well below most competitors, and the portions are generous. While the setup minimizes interaction with staff, the team is friendly and efficient when you do need them. If you're after high-quality, nutrient-dense meals at about half the usual cost, Angie's is the place. I tried the Cobb salad with chicken and was thoroughly impressed.

This place recently had a $4.99 salad special, so I came to take advantage of the deal (only through January though)! I placed my order online and it was ready for pickup when I arrived. I did arrive 30 minutes after my scheduled arrival time, and my salad had just been sitting there on the counter. I was a little worried about it going bad, since it wasn't in a cooler or on a cold surface. But everything ended up being fine. There was parking available when I arrived at 830a on a weekday, but the restaurant is in a smaller plaza and if it's busy, parking might be harder. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and was really impressed with the quality of the meat. The bacon was in thick strips on the salad, it wasn't just bacon bits. The chicken was also delicious and the whole thing was just great! I would definitely order from here again! The had a really nice looking lobby to eat in at too!

I've been sitting at St. Joseph's hospital with my hubby for a week, and couldn't bear one more day of hospital cafeteria food. One of the physical therapists mentioned Angie's Prime Grill, which is a across the street from the 3rd Ave garage. There is a cute black and white striped awning (I love awnings) and a couple of tables out front. When you walk in, there are three kiosks on which you order. Straight ahead are metal shelves labeled with letters of the alphabet, and a drink machine with cups next to it. There is a small dining room lined with a wood wall on one side and a mural on the other. There is no human interaction here. You can order online or at the kiosks, but there is no person to actually take your order or your payment. I ordered and paid online ahead of time, and by the time I crossed the street and made the very short walk to Angie's, my order was done and waiting for me on the shelf. The food here seems pretty healthy. I got the Cobb bowl--brown rice, avocado, bacon, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, red onion, blue cheese, and chicken. I switched out the blue cheese sauce for blue cheese dressing. It was really, really good! Not only was it delicious, it was big (big enough for two meals for me), but it was so inexpensive! I got the meal, which includes a drink, and the Grand total was only $8.00!!!! Hubby is not scheduled to be released until the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to returning--maybe I'll have the Mexican bowl next time. FYI, you can also get your food in a grilled burrito if bowls are not your thing, and Angie's burgers are also available.

Tried this place 3 days ago... have eaten there 3 days in a row. It's high quality food at insanely low prices. I recommend the Greek or the Mexican bowls. And omg their $9.99 breakfast + coffee + lunch combo is cheaper than me making food at home. Seriously great portions, decision fatigue and prices that make you feel like you traveled back in time.

Great quality healthy food options and super convenient drive-thru! Food was hot, fresh, and tasted amazing. Staff was friendly and efficient. Perfect for busy days when you need a quick bite without sacrificing quality!

The food is great but the wait time is outrageous. Even for order ahead. Pickup time just kept creeping up. Was late returning to work.

Our server was fantastic - very attentive and friendly and cute as a bug's ear. We started by ordering drinks. Hubby just ordered a beer, and I got the Raspberry Baray. I've ordered a different cocktail from their menu every time I've come and this has been my favorite. It was delish! For starter we got the meatballs served on creamy polenta. They were fantastic and quite large. I love them! For entrees, hubby got the Atlantic salmon with fingerling potatoes and I got the center cut filet with mashed potatoes and baby carrots. Both were so yummy. My filet was cooked exactly the way I love it. For dessert, hubby had the lemon cake with Bavarian cream and I had the butter cake with strawberries and whipped cream. They were both heavenly! If you come, make sure that you have a reservation. We saw many people trying to drop in without a reservation. After being sat down, the host asked if we preferred bottled water, sparkling or still. We chose still and never received this during our meal. I can only assume this wasn't relayed to our server. For appetizers, we both were intrigued by the "Caviar Bump." This is brought out on a trolly, and the server scoops then places a quarter sized amount of caviar on opposite side of your ball of thumb. He instructs us the best way to enjoy this caviar is to gently press it against the roof of your mouth with your tongue. Both of us are in agreeance that compared to the other times we've had caviar; this was a bit fishy and tasted passed it prime. Onto mains, my partner opted in for the double smash burger which was great. Our server/kitchen was kind enough to upgrade her side to one of their special salads which was great. As for me, I opted in for their eggs benedict, upgrading to their king crab. I found this tasty, but I found the overall flavours overpowered the taste of the crab. Both dishes were beautifully presented, and our server was casual and was a pleasure. We're happy to make this our first meal visiting Phoenix, and if we were to come back, they have an amazing looking dinner menu we'd love to try.

For starters, I opted for the tenderloin chili which was very flavorful. Despite the cheese not looking melted on top of the chili, it was perfectly heated and had a little spicy kick to it as well. The jalapeño honey cornbread was the perfect pairing. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Both items were very delicious. For drinks I had the copper spur which was a slight riff on a classic gold rush cocktail. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was like chocolate pudding with pizazz. Again, both items were very good. All in all, I would absolutely return. Easy 5/5 for me .

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.
