I've been trying to give this location a chance for over a year, and unfortunately it's been consistently disappointing. Almost every visit, something is off, either key ingredients are missing from my order or they're out of multiple items altogether. On top of that, the customer service tends to be very slow and unresponsive, which just adds to the frustration. I have ordered from this place a lot last year which has been decent experience for quick bites. But this time I picked up 2 protein boxes and the chicken is literally not edible l. It almost looks like they got canned chicken and then over seasoned it with like Montreal steak seasoning.... I wouldn't serve this to my enemy. I have eaten at several Salad and Go locations and my experience at this location has been the worst. I ordered my usual Buffalo chicken salad. Upon starting to eat, I noticed that the salad had no jalapeños and had pepperoncinis in it instead. There was not nearly as much celery, carrots or chicken as is normally in the salad. After getting to the bottom of the salad, I noticed that there was a lot of wilted/gross lettuce. It seems that this salad was not fresh at all. I was super excited about this location opening up. Given that this location in particular is new, I didn't really expect it to be amazing. The drive thru has two lanes and it just took forever to get through. When it was finally my turn to order, I tried to give my order a couple of times but no one responded so I ended up having to push forward and ordering at the window. First and last time here! My friend and I ordered two salads for lunch. My friend had a Cobb salad, her avocado was black. I had the build your own vegetarian style with just lettuce, extra avocado, tomato, cucumber and green onions. Look at my photo and ask yourself, would a vegetarian asl for bacon??!! Today's salad was not good. I couldn't eat about half my salad, because so many of the lettuce leaves were wilted with dark green spots on them. See photo below. I also found a small sharp rock in my salad. I've bit on it, but luckily, did not break a tooth. The rock is about the size of my pinky fingernail. This could have been really dangerous since it is a choking hazard and could've caused damage to my teeth. I will not be returning to this location. I love this place!! Wish there was one back in my home state. I was blown away with the cost. I feel that the size of the salad and what it comes with is a great deal for $6.50, and $1.50 for a specialty drink is unheard of. I always mobile order and every time it is ready right when the app predicts (usually less than 10 minutes). Order is always correct. Service is friendly. I wouldn't recommend getting double protein as I feel the amount they add isn't worth $1.75 extra, but besides that, perfect. Love it. No seating area so there is no ambiance, but that is part of what keeps costs low. Cesar Chavez Park is right next to it with lots of seating and nice scenery. read more
