    Vermont Chicken Salad

What a find!!! I had some business to conduct upstairs in the office building, but I was starving, can't conduct on an empty stomach. I entered thru the lobby and was immediately greeted with a "Hello welcome come on in" almost felt like a greeting a best friend would give you. I looked around as I was kind of stunned something with a menu like this place has was located in an office building. It's cute and quaint inside without being pretentious. The person who welcomed me in introduced himself as Gino and proceeded to help me figure out lunch. Today their special was baked stuffed shells, if I wasn't wearing a white dress shirt, I would have jumped on it right away! But I am a slob so no tomato sauce today. Instead I opted for a bowl of their New England clam chowder, and arguably the best damn chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. Perfectly toasted thick 9 grain wheat bread with a generous helping of their "Vermont" style chicken salad with a little Dijon and red onion. (Sounds strange but you will understand after the first bite!!) it was also served with my choice of either fries or home made potato chips, I couldn't make up my mind so Gino gave me a little bit of both. My fat kid move for the day was dipping the home made potato chips into the chowder damn it was good, they put some scallions on top of the soup which I've never had before on clam Chowder but it was an excellent addition. Also props to the cooks for making the chicken salad not soaked in mayo and nice and shredded not the chunky stuff that falls outta the bread. (Small detail that makes a big difference, yes I crazy enough to notice) I will definitely be back here to try some other menu items next time my travels take me to downtown phoenix. Thank you Gino thank you cranberry hills for being the high point of my day!!

Every time I come for training in this building I stop to eat in this cute little place. I think it's family owned and the workers are super nice I had the shredded burrito special today and clam chowder soup and omg super yummy. Great relaxing place to enjoy your lunch and relax !!!!

If I was 80, in a senior home with lack of sight, taste and desires... this place would be great... but I'm not. The sandwich is extremely bland, no herbs or flavoring..not even salt or any sight of a pepper flake. The cranberry sauce has no hint of actual real cranberries, was a very thin layer. I asked for ranch...none was with the food delivered. I would not order again

I recommend all of their sandwiches or whatever is the special of the day! Locally owned and operated, food is always fresh with giant portions you can't go wrong. Shop local Arizona.

Omelette was amazing and fruit was fresh and tasty. Very friendly service as well and the price is reasonable. Definitely coming back again

Front cashier guy is so rude. I informed I was a new customer didn't even help me figure the menu out as he was hurrying me. Didn't offer me a drink (I figured combo came with drink). I ordered the first thing on the menu, an Italian Sub and clam chowder soup, soup was alright, did not like the sub.

We ordered the Strawberry Matcha for me and the Strawberries & Cream Latte for my hubby, and both were absolutely delicious. My matcha was so smooth with a clean, earthy flavor that wasn't bitter at all, and the strawberry added just the right touch of sweetness without overpowering it. Fernando's latte was creamy, sweet, and basically tasted like dessert in a cup. One of my favorite things about this spot is that it's inside a charming historic house, which makes it feel extra cozy and unique instead of your typical coffee shop. It honestly feels like you're hanging out at a friend's adorable home while sipping on a handcrafted drink. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and full of cool, artsy vibes. The building dates back to 1904 and has become a neighborhood gathering place for coffee, tea, and local art, which makes the experience feel even more special. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Great drinks, great people, and an adorable space...what more could a girl ask for? I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu because this place has officially earned a spot on my favorite coffee shop list.

The first time I ordered it unsweetened was accidental, but trying it without sweetener or flavor was what made me realize that their matcha may be the best I've ever had. I've also had their Mas matcha latte and it is also absolutely delicious and simple and still allows me to taste the matcha through the vanilla and sweetness. I've been to other places that serve Kettl matcha, but none have tasted nearly as rich as Futuro's. The atmosphere itself is true to its name. It is futuristic, simple, and beautiful. It is full of unique art pieces of all types, and they sell their coffees and teas as well. I feel at peace inside and they always have vibey music playing at a perfect volume and incense lit. The service itself is one of a kind and makes me feel like I'm at a 5-star restaurant. They bring your items out on a beautiful tray and will always serve your drink with a cup of water on the side if you order it for here. They will even package your food up for you, which I would never expect from a coffee shop. It can be busy at times with a bit of a wait because the drinks are all made one at a time, but it's always worth the wait. The place isn't very big but has plenty of seating given the space. For working from home, they do have wifi but limited outlets. Their pastries served from a local bakery are also delicious.

The ambiance, drinks, and service were all great! There is an entrance to Lola Coffee from Roosevelt and another from the back near parking spaces. There is a restroom near the back entrance, and the start to the line to place an order is right near the front entrance. I saw in one of the comfy chairs while I waited for my former student to arrive. At that point, we moved to a regular table and then went and ordered drinks. She ordered a coffee, and I ordered a lemonade. We both enjoyed our drinks which were ready very quickly. There were smaller and larger tables, and there were also countertops along with business cards and marketing items at the back of the room on a thin table. Lola Coffee began with humble beginnings going back to 1992 with a cart, then Lux Coffee, and eventually Lola Coffee downtown. Now, there is even a second Lola Coffee location in Arcadia near 40th Street and Indian School. Today, they serve coffee, pastries, and breakfast. The Downtown Phoenix location hours are weekdays from 6:30 AM to 7 PM and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. You can see their menu, history, photos, and more on their website (https://lolacoffeebarphx.com). While I had trouble choosing between a lemonade for a cold beverage or hot chocolate for a warm beverage, it's great they have so many options. Again, try them for drinks, breakfast, or pastries. Their staff is so helpful and the actual restaurant is quite welcoming to everyone.

The flavor profile was unlike anything I had experienced before--earthy, bold, and distinctive in a way that felt both adventurous and refined. More importantly, the effects were exactly as described. As I enjoyed my drink, a gentle sense of relaxation gradually settled in, leaving me feeling calm, centered, and remarkably at ease without any sense of heaviness. What I appreciated most was how the experience encouraged mindfulness and connection. Lacuna offers something refreshingly different from a traditional coffee shop or cocktail lounge, creating an environment where conversation flows naturally and relaxation takes center stage.
