My wife loves the kind of food Panera Bread serves but we both liked Paradise Bakery in the old days. Panera Bread has skimpier servings in general, and the Silverdale restaurant is no exception. My salad and soup were both excellent but the helpings were unreasonably small. The cook said soup was "two cups" and the manager said that was company policy and not hers. The other problem we encountered had to do with the cashier ... she was hard to understand in the first place, and with the mask on she was nearly impossible. Employees should be assigned to positions that involve lots of customer communication that speak clearly and are easy to understand. read more

This Panera is not the move y'all. Went in with a pre ordered carafe of coffee. That was good enough, drinkable mud I suppose. There weren't any cups or anything, so I just stood at the counter waiting to be acknowledged so I could ask for some staple items. Two different employees looked at me without acknowledging me, and kept what they were doing. I get when it's insanely busy not making the time to at least say "be right with you" but I've been here two or three times where I'm pretty consistently ignored and I'm just over it. 1/10 recommend mainly because of the Panera name. read more

Our first two visits were completely a waste of time. 2nd and last visit today for curbside order was a joke. We ordered two bagel sandwiches online for breakfast. Bagel type WRONG, cheese type WRONG, sauce WRONG, No sausage, bacon or avocado that we ordered & paid for. All we got was NOT FULLY COOKED FRIED EGG on plain bagel & cheese. They would not remake order because it was now past 11am and they were switching to lunch EVEN THOUGH OUR ORDER WAS LATE! Keep in mind all orders are checked & signed by checker before served - wtf. The manager didn't even offer us something from the lunch menu for our inconvenience. No ownership or attempt to make us a return customer. I have spent more time calling management, working with a delivery app and the store manager said she didn't have time to discuss my order because of folks in the store. Panera is a good place to go for soups, salads, bread and pastries. The sandwiches are not something to gush over but not horrible either. The kids LOVE the Mac and cheese and at least one of them will request it every time we come here. There is a drive-through and also a kiosk inside for ordering if you need time to peruse the menu. The tables are someone messy and need to be cleaned more frequently. There is a reward card but I have noticed it takes longer to gets rewards than a few years ago. read more

I didn't realize until I got back to my hotel that they'd messed up my order on something I'd paid extra for. I called them and the best they could do was mail me a voucher. I don't live near a Panera so this is useless to me. The man I spoke with on the phone did not seem to care at all that they'd messed up my order. We generally love this place but the last few times we've been here has been disappointing. Once we ordered curbside and they never brought it out so after waiting 15 after theme it was to be ready we went in and got it ourselves. The next time the app wasn't working and the drive through was closed. The last two times my order was completely wrong. Today they were out of everything we wanted so we decided to try a pizza. We waited 45 minutes for our food and it was ice cold. How did it cold when we grabbed it the second it hit the counter? So disappointed how far down hill this place has gone. This rating is for curbside pickup: I waited for 15 minutes (their designated parking has a 5 minute time limit). Ended up going in to grab my order myself. Not a problem but if you're going to offer curbside, you should be able to fulfill that. Where they have the food sitting is not in view of the employees so anyone can go up and tamper with it or take your order without anyone saying anything. read more

I used to give it 5 because I just really liked my food but the service is so incredibly slow I can't give it 5 any longer. The only reason it isn't a 1 is because the food is still good. They really need to work on their speed, not only did it take 4 mins just to pay but another 6 or so to get my food and then my water which they forgot.... Awful experience. Will never visit this location again. The staff was rude and did not want to interact with customers. The man behind the counter kept announcing that he was pagan instead of attending to customers. While I was there an Asian lady came in and wanted to use a $3 coupon. The staff laughed at her and made fun of her for wanting to use the coupon. So unprofessional and rude. I also needed a couple of containers to take my food home in. As I waited, I watched as 2 employees clocked out & attempted to order their own meals. 2 more customers entered & waited patiently until replacement cashiers could be found. One of the Customers, who ordered at the Kiosk, was told the Bottled Teas were unavailable, while the other customer, who only wanted a cup of non-flavored, Brewed Coffee but the dispenser that was empty. She was told she could have one of the other flavors. Eventually, a Manager of sorts came out to help the Employees get their meals ordered & offered to get the plain Brewed Coffee from the 'To-Go' area. My order came out at the same time as the other waiting customer's order did, about 13 minutes after I ordered. Minutes later, in my car, the first bite of my Sandwich was tepid & the last bite had something hard & obviously not of the food category in it. There were 5 employees behind the counter & 2 customers. Really. No Customers in the Drive Through & 2 in the dining area, already eating. Entered the lobby area with three ladies at the registers, no one willing to look up to help me. When one did take my order she seemed to have trouble working the register as I had to correct her multiple times with what I wanted. I ended up paying for a drink I didn't order because she didn't know how to correct my ticket. I don't find Panera to be tasty or desirable, but my husband loves their pastries. We have gone in a few times before going to Costco, so our experiences have been consistent. The food is average for Panera - it tastes frozen or like it was mass produced. Nothing about the food screams "fresh" or "tasty." Their commitments to being environmentally sustainable are noble, so I feel like at least we're supporting a cause we believe in. Even if their food is merely "okay." I usually get a half-sandwich and a cup of soup. Honestly, it isn't much different from what I can do at home. Grilled cheese is slightly below average, truthfully, because there is nothing remarkable about it: two pieces of sourdough and American cheese. The broccoli and cheese soup has very little broccoli in it, and that's always disappointing to me. The baguette is probably the best part of the experience, truthfully. My husband really enjoys the panini-type sandwich he ordered. He likes their non-soda beverage options (specifically the hibiscus tea), and he adores the pastries. We return to Panera because it is a trifecta of delight for him. I don't have high expectations of Panera, so these experiences are on par with what I expect. read more

I have stopped going to Panera solely for the fact that it costs me over $35 to feed a family of three and the menu items the last time i ate were, a pbj sandwich with apples, a 1/2 salad with a frozen coffee and a soup and salad with a sprite !!!! As yesterday was a school fundraiser, i took my kids to show support. Again, I bought a salad. As i had been rushing and had no time to eat last night, i saved my salad to eat today at work. This is the salad i was going to eat today. As you can see one might be a bit torn about eating a salad that has black wilted lettuce. Not impressed. I'm so disappointed with this place. Half the time I order my food is sloppily put together. Today I have a huge piece of dried apple core in my salad and my tomato mozzarella flat bread was flipped upside down and all the compote they put in it was in the bottom of the container so when I picked it up it all fell out. Definitely NOT fast food. The best thing about this location are the friendly severs....but the wait time and order accuracy had me leaving this location very frustrated! I ordered a soufflé at the register just to have the drive thru server take it...then on the way out, I ordered a pastry at the fast lane kiosks and watched my name appear and disappear from the order board....no pastry. Panera Bread is A-OK. My family loves this place and my kids would eat here EVERY night if we would let them. As it is, it has become our regular Thursday night spot after cello and piano lessons nearby. It's a national chain - if you've been to any other Panera, then you know what to expect here. Great sandwiches and soups and salads. This one has an added bonus of a DRIVE THRU!! (Very dangerous for us) My only complain about Panera is they serve Pepsi products, and I'm a Coke addict. Great drive-thru so lucky to have a Panera with a drive-thru, friendly service, quick good food. This Panera is always clean. Fair prices, higher than what you might typically pay for lunch for a drive-thru but it's also better than your typical drive-thru. They have a great Asian noodle soup it's new on the menu very delicious! I'm always a fan of all of the soups and salads, unfortunately if you just want the chicken broth you still have to pay full price even if you're omitting the chicken and the noodles! I'm a huge fan of panera, always have been. However I was just at drive thru and am very dissatisfied with this location. I ordered 35$ worth of food and drinks and when I got home it looked like 15$worth. My group soup was nearly half empty, the two hot cocoas were in grande cups, but the amount of a tall cocoa in one and a little more in the other and that was with the toppings. My sons Sandwich had no spread ( he got the bacon turkey bravo) . The only item that was full was my passion smoothie. This visit is getting three stars and that is generous and due solely to the fact that the manager is sending me a voucher for their shortcomings. She apologized , took my info down and was very kind. She didn't say as to how much the voucher would be for, but I'm going to assume it will cover the soup and cocoas. read more
