The lady that brought out our first dish came back and realized she brought us the wrong dish after we started serving up. We never had that dish and it was very similar to the one I ordered. They said we could keep it at no charge. Soon after we got our order and everything tasted delicious! They have large portions and we had leftovers. The peanut sauce is so yummy! Let me start with the most important detail, the food was delicious. I wish I would've taken pictures. This was our actual first experience at a Thai restaurant in Silverdale, I'm a wimp for spice. However, the flavor was good, the spice was perfect, and the portions were big. Definitely shareable. Oh, and try the mango ice cream, has a little coconut hint to it - it was creamy & tasty. The service was so good. Yumi & the young lady (didn't catch her name) helping her were extremely sweet and attentive. The booths are nice and private, but if you're tall, I'd suggest a table. Absolutely fantastic. Portions were even bigger than anticipated, flavor was off the charts. Server was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and on point through whole visit. Visiting in the area and had dinner at Ginn Imm. Nice and busy place. Being seated took about 10 mins. We were first in line. As we were seated, we were given water and menus. To get service you had to push a button on the wall. We were told it was to alert the kitchen to get ready ‍. I ordered the Dumplings. They didn't seem fresh and were very small. No one came around to offer more water or if we needed anything else. I think they had one waitress and one server. That's hard to wait on guests. But everyone ate their meal. Cute place. read more

We have been here a few times and it's Always delicious, I had the Rama w/ chicken, and wifey had the the salmon w/ pumpkin curry. Food was good! Service was great! Ive had better pad thai. The beef in it wasnt seasoned and a bit chewy. The sauce seemed too concentrated and overpowering. Pad thai is one of my all time favorite dishes and ive had a ton of it from different places but I wouldn't order it from here again. The chicken wings were amazing!! Crispy and juicy. Flavor is usually really good. Sadly had a bad experience. Ordered takeout and arrived 2 minutes before it said it was ready. Continued to sit and wait for over 30 minutes after they assured me several times it was almost done. They weren't busy at the time either so uncertain why it took so long given the order was placed over an hour before I finally got it. Flavor is good, service is poor, decor is very cool. A nice date spot! I loved the booth seating where you could sit criss cross or legs on the floor. There was a very convenient call button you push when you're ready or need something. (By the way it's more of a swipe your finger until you see the red light instead of actual push). I liked this style of service. We didn't get interrupted and when we did need something, the server came right away when using the button. The food was great! This restaurant gets a five star for the co-owner, Pauline, who is the sweetest person, I've met in a long time. She took her time to understand my order, by coming out to my car and making sure that I got it right, which was extra special since I walk with a walker these days. The restaurant menu is extensive enough and the prices are fair. The food tastes fresh but doesn't quite have the sharp flavors of thai food that I'm used to. Just a little bit underwhelming in the flavor department, but absolutely hot and fresh, and enough flavor to not complain, but rather just point it out. The prices are good, but the quantities are of an equal match, meaning that you're not going to get a lot of food but you are going to get pretty much what you pay for. So if you come hungry, you might want to double up on your orders of appetizers. I'll be back. read more

Jinn Imm, a somewhat new restaurant replacing Bahn Thai, came highly recommended so we tried it. We chose a booth for ambiance, but a table would be a better choice for those with less flexible legs. The call button on the wall is an idea every restaurant should adopt! Overall, it was not great and was not horrible; we were famished, ate almost every bite, but probably wouldn't return. We started with "fresh spring rolls and peanut sauce" which came with four small halves. The rice paper wrapper was so sticky that the touching halves were so stuck together that pulling them apart was difficult, and when biting, they were very stretchy and challenging. The filling was pretty much all lettuce, beautifully frilly arranged out the ends, with about teaspoon of noodle hidden inside and one shrimp. Something about the construction and the wrapper made it an embarrassing mess to eat. The sauce was good, maybe more gingery than peanutty as I'd prefer, but still good. We ordered two dishes to share, making an effort to choose sufficiently different and not deep fried. We asked for suggestions but when steered to deep fries, steamed vegetables, and sweet chili sauce (which she said is fairly sweet), we chose the House Special Noodle mixed vegetable curry with chicken. The vegetables were steamed and while not stated in the description as others did, they were not overcooked. I very much prefer my vegetables sautéed and unfortunately felt like I was eating frozen vegetables. The sauce was very flavorful and plentiful, and the thin sliced white meat chicken was tender. The bowl came with chopsticks and a porcelain soup spoon which reminded me of pho presentation, and the sauce was so thin it was more like a tasty soup, which didn't cling well to the scattered broad noodles. Is it actually a soup??? The second dish, listed under the "Saute" heading, was beef with broccoli in garlic sauce, and we chose brown rice. This again had good flavor, but the sliced beef which had more the appearance of steaming rather than being sautéed, was quite chewy. The broccoli was not memorable. The taste of each component (sauce, meat, vegetable) was good, but my husband especially found the chewiness of the beef too dis-tasteful to enjoy. (He was not wrong about the chewiness! But because the meat was not at all fatty, and I enjoyed the flavor of the beef, I could ignore the greyish, somewhat steamed appearance, and accepted the chew.) The brown rice, enough but not very plentiful, was pleasantly chewy, and a good base for the sauce. The portion-size was adequately generous, and while I much prefer when Asian restaurants include hot tea at no cost, the price of the dishes was reasonable. read more

This is a must go! This is a fairly new place so we wanted to check it out. We had been to this location when it was different owner/name. I like the updates they made. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and smiling. For seating they have traditional table and chairs as well as booths that have a "sunken" feel. There is a "call light" at each table. Whenever you need your server you press the button and they come. Including when you are ready to order, want drinks, to-go boxes or the check. We never waited long. The food is SO GOOD! I had crab curry. I was hesitant since most places that have crab dishes, the amount is so small it's typically not worth the price. But my surprise is not only did they have the deep fried crab on top. They had a base of shredded crab underneath the curry and it was amazing surprise! I loved the fresh veggies that came with it too. My husband got the beef and though it was thin it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. And seasoned perfect! His fried rice had some delicious fried garlic pieces on top. He would get it again. Our friend got the catfish and said was so flavorful and looked forward to coming back and getting it again. The desert list is limited and some items are seasonal only. I wish that was noted on the menu. Parking lot has plenty of parking. Is it worth the drive?...yes! read more

If you are looking for a Thai restaurant with outstanding service and ambiance, look no further than this place.. from the plating to the decor, this place is fantastic. But what about the food, how did it taste, oh it was outstanding!!! I thought this place may be a little novelty-ish but it's far from that. They even have little private-ish booths to sit at. You have to see this place for yourself or see it again now that it's been renamed and updated. If you're looking for an outstanding Thai restaurant.. this is it.. now the prices, it's a tad high but just a tad like maybe $1 more than somewhere else but once you get there you see where the extra money went to.. it's in the ingredients everything was so flavorful and vibrant in color. The menu is much more inclusive of other Asian areas than Thai. It is extensive, with dishes such as Mee Goreng and others. The food was very good, and well-prepared. One note: The spicing here is a little more traditional than most other Thai places in Kitsap, so four stars can be quite spicy. Five would be devilishly hot to me. The main problem with this place is that they _really_ need to hire more help. The beleaugered wait staff were all actually running from place to place, trying to get tables for waiting customers, taking orders, etc. While we knew what we wanted to order, and received our food in pretty good time, others may have taken a little longer. Note that parties of four or less can request either a table or a booth. We found that the booth was a much quicker place to select, and the only issue is that some with mobility issues may not like it. All in all, recommend this place and hope they solve the help problem. We will be back. read more

My wife and I were craving some thai food and we thought we had tried all the decent places in the area. We found Ginn Imm on a whim and decided to try it...i'm glad we did! We arrived shortly after it opened around 11 am and when we walk in we realised how nice the ambience is, with beautiful decor all over the restaurant. We also noticed how clean it was and we were politely greeted by the hostess. We were seated quickly and attended to properly the entire time. We ended up ordering the pad Thai and then a garlic basil dish that we had never tried before. Both of these were absolutely delicious and left us wanting even more after we finished our dishes. My wife tried the Thai tea and she said that it's one of the best teas she's ever had. We will be making this one of our top go to Thai food places when we get a hankering for some Pad Thai! read more

I ordered the crying tiger dish: ribeye steak with salad, sticky rice and a spicy dipping sauce. Steak was cooked medium and cooked nicely. I liked it! My significant other ordered a halibut dish 2 stars and it was spicy! His only gripe is the menu states it was crispy but it came slightly soggy. It was tossed in sauce so that was kept in mind. My wife and I decided to try Ginn Imm tonight for a date night, starting with the good, the hosts/ servers were quick and friendly. We were seated just after arriving, we were given a reasonably enough time to review the menu and decide what we were going to order. My wife ordered a curry and I ordered the crispy garlic duck. We also ordered an appetizer to start with. The appetizer (called Angel wings " were fried well, however the filling inside lacked a lot of flavor; it was disappointing as, if seasoned well it could have been very tasty. When our entrees arrived presentation was nice and well put together. The curry tasted unfortunately more like an Indian curry as opposed to a Thai curry. In regards to curries there are better ones around. Which we were disappointed to experience. My duck entree was also disappointing, the duck was extremely overcooked and extremely dry; if the dish had been cooked properly, I imagine it could be decent. Regrettably, my wife and I had decided that given the dissatisfaction in the appetizer as well as the entree, we will most likely not be back. We had both agreed that we would have rather gone to the other Thai restaurant in the next parking lot over. What also solidified this decision, was the fact we needed to stop on the way home at the local Walgreens to pick up some Pepto just to settle our stomachs after the dinner which we did not finish. This decision is disappointing as the service was not bad. However for the cost of the diner, there are better places near by. read more

This was our first time dining here and we will definitely be back. The food and service were both 10/10. I had the yellow curry with tofu, I am very picky with curry and this is one of the best I've had! My partner had the tom yum soup and he also loved it. We shared the fried spring rolls as an appetizer, they were delicious. All of the food had a beautiful presentation. The ambiance is very nice and inviting. This is the absolute best Thai food in the Silverdale/Poulsbo area. The spring rolls were super crispy and well seasoned and the plum sauce was perfect. We had the pad broccoli with a glorious amount of golden garlic and the spicy mango beef. The beef was tender and the mango was so juicy,bthe spice level was perfect and the veggies were crisp. The garlic broccoli was amazing, very flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Thai iced teas were great as well. The service was amazing and so helpful and it made the experience great. We ordered take out and it was easy enough to order, but I never got a confirmation email or text, so I had to call the restaurant to make sure it went through. When the food was ready, I did get a text saying so. We ordered the curried fried rice, the crispy duck with garlic sauce, and shumai. Everything was pretty good, I especially enjoyed the crispy duck. I liked that our two main dishes had a lot of colorful vegetables in them, makes me feel healthy even when I'm eating out ;) Our food was ready fairly quickly and still hot when we got home. I have tried hundreds of Thai Restaurants and it's always hard to find a great one here in Kitsap County. This place was fantastic. Anyone who is familiar with Thai food in Seattle will appreciate when I say that this Thai food tastes more on par with the Seattle restaurants. The Massamun Curry was delicious and had great depth of flavor. The phad Thai was also great, best phad Thai in Kitsap county. And the phad see ew was INCREDIBLE. Soooo much flavor. They really captured that perfect sweet / tangy and charred taste. Absolutely loved it. Also love that they put bok choy as well as broccoli. Definitely will be back, definitely recommend. The only thing I wish is that they could master the fried chewy tofu like at Seattle restaurants instead of the hard crunchy fried tofu. Make sure to check out this awesome place! read more

Newly opened restaurant in the old Bahn Thai site and, believe me, it's a HUGE improvement! Family owned and operated, these are obviously folks who care about their customers and the quality of the food they're offering. We stopped in for dinner around 5ish on a Saturday because we wanted to check out their menu items. There were only a few tables taken when we arrived, but the place was pretty full by the time we left...a good sign. The service was a little slow, but that was likely due to the table of ladies behind us who just couldn't stop asking questions about the menu and giving orders about what they wanted and didn't want in each dish. Jeesh! All the items we ordered were delicious. We started with the Fresh Shrimp Rolls ($10.50) : Avocado, celery, carrots, steamed rice noodles and fresh lettuce, wrapped in soft rice paper served with peanut sauce (you get two). Never had avocado in a fresh spring roll; we liked it! Then we ordered two entrees : Shrimp Cashew and Fresh Mango ($18.90) : Stir fried shrimp with fresh mango, cashew nuts, onions, bell peppers, water chestnuts, asparagus and sweet chili paste, and Chicken Yakisoba ($16.00) : Stir-fried thin yakisoba noodles with carrots, green onions, broccoli, cabbage and bean sprouts. Large portions meant taking a little of each home for another day. One note of caution: we ordered the Shrimp Cashew/Mango as 2 star and the Yakisoba as 3 star. The 2 star was spicy; the 3 star was pretty dang hot. This is out of 5 stars top. They were fine for us, but a bit "warmer" than we expected...and I wouldn't call us wimpy. So be forewarned! Service was friendly and respectful. We love supporting small family-owned and operated restaurants. It's great to see folks doing such a great job, especially after the mess that Bahn Thai became. was really Jones'n for pad Thai and Tom Kah soup... I hadn't tried Ginn Imm..... family was out of town so I gave them a whirl. This hit the spot. The Tom Kah was so good rich flavors, creamy with just the right tang of lemon and ginger .... Had to close my eyes and just enjoy the Savor .... Delicious! The Pad Thai was great, could have been spicier... but I fixed that with some chili oil they had on the table.... The angle wings were good and unique. Glad I tried them. Now if you're not familiar with spicy Thai food it's best to go with 1 star- it is spicy even at a 1 and I love spicy food but not to the point of tears rolling down my face. 1 is enough for me at this restaurant.
