It's a chain.. but if you want a fast excellent salads of any type -Panera bread is the place to go. The Cobb salad we tried was first - no other place in the villages has a Cobb salad- well prepared with egg and a tasty dressing - second - the Greek salad (we tried this at a later time) was full of olives and the pepperacini are now sliced and spread on the salad -- much tastier! Do try the cheese steak sandwich -- not quite Philly -- but it is the best of all of the sandwich places.

Was in the Villages area and decided to get Panera. They don't seem to be as many menu options as they used to have however, there are still some pretty good choices for a quick and healthy lunch. I chose the Baja bowl without meat it was delicious and filling. My friend got the pic to Baja bowl and salad. Her Baja bowl was the same size as mine. This particular Panera was clean and well stocked with everything you would need.

Been awhile since the wife and I ate at a Panera's. The servicer was great and patience while we try to figure out what we wanted. The cooks were great getting our food in a timely manner. The soup and sandwiches were hot and good. The place was nice and clean. We will come back again. Give it a try for yourself.

This is the 4 cheese soufflé... a little disappointing as it barely fills the container and is mostly bread.

Staff here is not friendly. Dining room is always dirty when I visit. Food quality has gone down over the years. I'm not a fan.

Ambience, service and food quality are all top notch, for both indoor and outdoor seating. On our recent dining experience, we were meeting up with a friend from Hawai'i who was in the area for a conference, and reserved outdoor patio seating. I ordered the Island Chicken (so flavorful and my go to), my wife tried the Tuscan Salmon (she finished her meal before me and our friend!), and our friend ordered the Bella Italian sandwich. We all loved what we ordered! Since it's been a while since we've seen our friend, we spent a lot of time catching up, or "talking story" as they say in Hawai'i. It wasn't busy so we didn't feel like we were holding up any party from getting a table. Loved that the manager even came by to check on us. A very nice dining experience! We would surely be back.

But when I first visited Harry and the Natives about 6 months ago I realized this place was different. Now, I can honestly say it's a place 'I look forward to' vs. a lot of The Villages food options which are 'places i settle for'. Pricing is fair for the quality you get. The drinks are Tiki inspired and delicious (I highly recommend the Village Dodo) and you can tell they pride themselves of freshness and quality. They have some of the best crab cakes I've ever had, a bit pricey but they are almost 100% crab (almost not binder/filler) and if you know the price of crab these days you'd understand the pricing. For me, a Village Dodo drink, Filet Mignon medium rare 'surf and turf' style with a crab cake, and creamed spinach side served outside with the tiki torches blaring is near perfection in a meal.

Instead, those guests handed us theirs. When she came back, I asked about the specials. Her answer: "I don't know, I didn't write them down... some kind of fish with risotto." I said I was interested in the soup. She left to find out, came back with "chicken noodle and Thai soup,." When I asked what was in the Thai soup, she said, "I don't know, but there's fish in it." That's not just bad service, it's careless. People have allergies and dietary restrictions. Not knowing what's in the food is inexcusable. I went inside and spoke with the manager, who apologized and agreed that the staff should know the menu and the specials. My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries for $16.95. It came out with barely any pork and limp, lifeless fries. It's unfortunate, because the setting is beautiful. But between the service and the food, it's simply not worth it. I didn't eat. The service was so poor I lost my appetite. We definitely won't be back.

It was a cold day and we were looking forward to some Colombian cuisine which was new to us. The place was easy to overlook as the signage didn't really stand out. And more construction is ongoing along Hwy 301 further obscuring visibility into this location. In any case, this is not a "sit down" restaurant as we had to place our order before sitting down. We previously checked out the menu online so we pretty much knew what we wanted to order. I ordered the Paisa Bowl ($17) and my wife tried their Steak and Papas bowl ($20). We also ordered French fries ($3.50) and a can of Coke Zero ($2.50). I thought service was a tad slow (there were maybe 5 tables occupied including us) but we were served our lunch soon enough. Our first impressions were good presentation but the portions were meager. The fried pork belly pieces were nice and crunchy but there weren't enough of them. The ground beef had good flavors and I liked the fried egg over the rice and beans. My wife liked the flavor of the beef, although a bit fatty for her taste, but found the potatoes a bit dry and wished they were French fries instead. Speaking of French fries, it was served with this savory dipping sauce but again, the serving portion was miserly. My wife thought the guacamole was nice and fresh, making it the best part of her meal. All in all, we came away liking the flavors but thinking the value and portions were lacking. Service was a bit detached as well. Lunch for 2 with tip came out to just over $51.
